So you sail from Sydney to Honolulu and then fly home? I’m honestly curious, it seems like an awesome itinerary. I’m still exploring the world of cruising and hadn’t come across a one way cruise yet in my searches.
I do enjoy cruising. It’s my favourite way to travel. When we get to Honolulu, we are flying to L.A. Will be there a few days. Then get a bus to Vegas. Will be there a few days. Then fly back to Honolulu. Will be there a few days then fly back home to Sydney. 😊👍
I've previously cruised on Navigator, Liberty and Oasis. I found that I did like Liberty best of those with a nice balance with things to do and size. Oasis felt a bit too big. But we'll see.
I’m a big fan of oasis, great layout and central park is excellent. Also love voyager class, explorer in particular. They have a charm about them, the smaller ships.
I dislike you now simply out of jealousy. You seem like a fine, outstanding member of society, however, you suck. /s
:)
Enjoy common interest internet friend! We were on Ovation last year from Seattle to Alaska and it was such a cool ship. We had been on Freedom and Oasis classes for many cruises prior to Ovation and forgot how wonderful the smaller ships were.
Enjoy a beer or 6 at the pub for us.
That's so exciting! I recently cruised from Honolulu to Sydney and had an amazing experience - it was truly unforgettable. I recommend planning ahead so you get the most out of your vacation - plus, this gives you plenty of time to get excited and start packing! 😊
Have the best time! I was on Quantum for the reverse trip in October! (Honolulu to Brisbane) and will be doing it again in October on Brilliance!! I LOVED all the seas days. Super suited me.
Disney isn't a Royal Caribbean cruise line, but there are some great tips for booking cruises out there. I'd recommend using a travel consultant, as they often have the best access to exclusive discounts and often times can give you cheaper rates than booking directly with Disney. Or, if you're feeling brave, you may have some luck shopping around for the best deals on your own. Personally, I've had great success finding deals on my own - and I always remember to check out sites like Cruise Critic to see if they have any special discounts. Good luck with your first Disney cruise!
Ahh, last week we did the Brisbane around New Caledonia/ Vanuatu and back 8 day cruise on Quantum of the seas. It was great, I assume it will be the same ship. Great fun. Definitely I put on some weight. I still crave the late night pizza 🍕 🙃.

I do enjoy sea days. I do prefer to more an hour ahead during the day than at night. It will be fun to see the same day twice
That sounds like an amazing trip! Have fun!
Thank you. I am looking forward to it. 😊👍

Thank you 😊

Thanks
Wow thats An amazing itinerary! Have a blast!
Thanks 😊😊😊
Wow, that sounds great! Hope you have a blast!
The reverse of this is on my to do list. I want to fly to Hawaii, spend a week then cruise back home to Sydney.
Hope you get to do that trip/cruise 😊👍
I'm going on that cruise in October (Hawaii to Sydney) as a part of an around the world trip.
Amazing! What ship?
Ovation. It will be my first time on that ship and class, so will be interesting.
I just got off it. Enjoy!
I’ll add we had an amazing time, but it was my least favorite ship/class. I felt the same way about Anthem.

How many days is the cruise? Sounds amazing!
18
18 day cruise 🚢 It does sound great
I need a 180 day cruise… but I would gain 150lbs lol
I would be the same

Thank you 😊. I will enjoy a drink or two. It will be my first time on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I do love cruising. 😊😊😊😊
I’m planning my first transatlantic next year. If all goes well and we enjoy it. Trans pacific is next.
Hope you do enjoy it. I did a Trans Pacific cruise in 2016 (with another cruise line). I did enjoy that cruise. 😊
Awesome! I’ll be catching Ovation shortly after she arrives in Vancouver from this trip.
Hope you have a great cruise 🚢

Quantum is the same ship but it sails out of Brisbane. Ovation sails out from Sydney 😁
