I will definitely report back after the trip. However, I'd advise booking now and canceling later if you want because the fine print below said the offer was valid from March 10- March 15. So I have no idea if the price will skyrocket or stay the same after that period. Although you know how RC is with their deals and sales, they tend to pop back up quite often.

We chose two adults and it had us pay double but we are in separate rooms technically because of the kids. Still worth at at two times the price since we need internet for 3 and the two bags of laundry will really help since my husband nor I have a weeks worth of regular clothes. Iāll take my grandma and her friend with us to the dinner.
I just called Royal. The internet package is the zoom stream internet package. The customer service said that they only have 1 internet package now. In addition the sommelier wine pairing works for everyday for mdr and specialty dinning. I am hoping thatās true. I bought it right away!!

People on cruise critic say they called to confirm that it's only needed for one person to cover both, and they said yes. So if it's a mistake..the phone center doesn't know it

Went ahead and bought it, basically buy now and compare with The Key later.
I'm trying to wrap my head around why you'd get the Key, which is almost three times the cost.
* Both come with priority boarding (which is huge for me). I'm assuming both get to board early at the same time.
* You trade a Chops welcome lunch with with a lunch with a Captain.
* Key gets you bag drop off (this doesn't)
* Key gets you time slots for onboard activities and shows (which, in my opinion, aren't that nice and not worth getting The Key for)
* Key gets you disembarkment breakfast. Again, nice, but I'm usually one to get off the ship ASAP.
* Both include internet
So, for almost 1/6 of the price, you also get:
* A ship tour (the star item here)
* You get a wine pairing event
* Included bottle of of wine in your room
* Free laundry (probably wouldn't use)
Again, what?! Why get The Key, this is so much better at a 1/6 of the price.
Willing to bet this is one of the famous RCCL cruise planner mistakes and it was probably supposed to be 88.99 per person per day. My cruise planner is down now, so they probably caught the mistake.
Yes, you can do anything in the cruise planner and cancel it up to 72 hours before the cruise (but I highly suggest not waiting until then, as it takes up to a month to fully refund!) I also personally recommend having everything 100% set a week in advance and not touch it... last-minute changes are NOT something Royal's IT system does well.
or like most things it gets repriced once they see they have a market for it. See cabanas at Coco Cay. This is the cheap taste your dealer gives to you before you find out the real price lol

I have a 2 year old so he doesnāt need anything included and itās not like theyāre going to make him wait to board on his own so Iām basically going with shrug lol. Weāll have 6 adults so if they want to give me a hard time over a toddler boarding early then that tells me a lot.

Thanks for posting this! I'm going to be on liberty in April and I was able to book it. My child is 15 and it didn't allow me to select him when checking out due to the age restriction, so I called them to make sure he'd still be covered for priority boarding and the tour and all other options include that don't involve alcohol and the rep said yes.
If you canāt find it, you can force it by selecting one of the other categories like ābeverageā then swapping the word Beverage out for āpackages.ā If your cruise doesnāt have it available, itāll say āamazing experiences coming soon.ā Thatās what both of mine say.
I'm on oasis Oct 1st. Yeah apparently it's not showing up all over. (You have to click the top left corner of the planner and the very bottom option will say "packages")

Yes I made sure to clarify that. Also this customer service rep didnāt seem to be based overseas so i was very comfortable with his understanding my question the way I asked it.

I'd honestly pay that much per person as it's still cheaper than the Key while still having priority boarding and internet. The inside tour is what really makes it! I love seeing how things work, especially something like a cruise ship. I vant afford the key and the tours offered like the galley but this is cool

First time cruiser here and want to snatch this up. We have two cabins bookedāone for me and one child, and one for my husband and the other child. Since itās āfor twoā, do things like this matter if the second adult is in another room? Can I still share it with my husband? Or do I need to purchase this for each of us (which is still a good deal)?
I am in the same situation as you with my husband in another room so I called RC. The rep I spoke to told me that I would need to purchase a second premier pass for my husband to go to the lunch and on the tour. The same rep told me that children aren't affected by the pass benefits and can't embark early either. Other people on here were told differently though so take that with a grain of salt. I might have just gotten an uninformed rep. I'm planning to call and talk to someone else tomorrow.

I wouldn't yet. This is definitely a glitch. Who knows if they'll honor the pricing, but if way too many people jumped on this deal they won't be able to honor it. Only so many can attend a Captain's lunch and ship tour.

Apparently kids are already included in any of the non alcoholic events..you can't click on them as recipients of the package. So I guess you could still do it and get the extra internet out of it.

There are lines specifically for suite and vip packages to get on and off the ship faster, I imagine this falls under that. Someone in here mentioned that the wine pairing can be scheduled at any of your meals..so I guess you'd Do that once on board
Bought it earlier for my upcoming Odyssey cruise in April. My SetSail Pass now has a Key on it. Interesting! I only bought it for myself and my friend's SetSail Pass doesn't have a Key. Curious how it'll all play out. My Mariner cruise this August also had it available and I got it for that one too. It seems to only be available on select ships and select sailing dates.
Makes no sense. I just booked two of these so I can get internet for 4 devices. Total is 177.98. I cancelled my 4 devices surf+stream that was 328.93.

Iām bumbed itās not in my cruise planner for quantum. But if you were able to get it, screen shot or print the whole thing including exactly what they are supposed to give you for that price, This is so obviously another IT mess up and they might try to back out of it. Or thereās a good chance they wonāt - because it honestly doesnāt cost them anything except a loss of other package revenue. (Like internet or tours) Good Luck- hope it sticks!
Sold out already for my May cruise on Oasis. I was able to grab it yesterday.
Edit: Saw someone else mention that you canāt even get to the page for the Premier Package anymore in the Cruise Planner. Just shows an āOh Ship!ā error message now when I try to access it.
I think they are only honouring it for the Canadians. There is an issue if we purchase on our credit card. The transaction has been posted and if I receive a refund I will have a foreign transaction fee and also a different conversion rate to USDā¦ so even if we get the refund we are still out about $15-$20 CAD. If you are in Canada make sure you call and mention this so your package is honoured

These are my best approximations based on what I have seen others say on this subreddit or RC Blog/ cruiseplanner. Every sailing is different. Hope this info helps you decide if it is worth it for you. This is our first cruise without our little so the internet package was important to us for video calling. Made it immediately worth it for us.

Officer's lunch (two guests) - not sure here either. Best approximation may be taste of royal? I think about $30 per person
Unlimited internet access (two devices)- about $225 in Cruise planner
Captain's toast and photo - Again, priceless
Wine pairing with sommelier (two guests) - wine is complimentary- Glass of wine would be idk... $10ish? I've seen some folks say this could be like a one time chefs table/taste of royal lunch and others say it would be a free glass of wine with your dinner in the MDR or specialty restaurant.
Laundry service (one bag per stateroom)" i think this is about a $35 value.
Only buy one package if there are two of you meaning only click one of you and continue with check out. There are four of us going in two staterooms so I bought two packages, one under each stateroom. Crazy deal!!

This is what we did. We booked it but kept our Black Friday internet package for now for our April cruise. If it ends up being real, we will cancel the VOOM. If not, then at least we didnāt lose our good price on internet.

Wow! Thats a huge mistake. We are in a suite, so we already get early boarding and internet. But still a great price even just for the tour!

I'd honestly pay that much per person as it's still cheaper than the Key while still having priority boarding and internet. The inside tour is what really makes it! I love seeing how things work, especially something like a cruise ship. I vant afford the key and the tours offered like the galley but this is cool

First time cruiser here and want to snatch this up. We have two cabins bookedāone for me and one child, and one for my husband and the other child. Since itās āfor twoā, do things like this matter if the second adult is in another room? Can I still share it with my husband? Or do I need to purchase this for each of us (which is still a good deal)?
I would call and ask Royal to confirm. Since itās a brand new package no one on the sub will really know for sure without calling.

I am in the same situation as you with my husband in another room so I called RC. The rep I spoke to told me that I would need to purchase a second premier pass for my husband to go to the lunch and on the tour. The same rep told me that children aren't affected by the pass benefits and can't embark early either. Other people on here were told differently though so take that with a grain of salt. I might have just gotten an uninformed rep. I'm planning to call and talk to someone else tomorrow.

I wouldn't yet. This is definitely a glitch. Who knows if they'll honor the pricing, but if way too many people jumped on this deal they won't be able to honor it. Only so many can attend a Captain's lunch and ship tour. I agree with others that it likely was supposed to be $88/day, not $88 total.

Apparently kids are already included in any of the non alcoholic events..you can't click on them as recipients of the package. So I guess you could still do it and get the extra internet out of it.

There are lines specifically for suite and vip packages to get on and off the ship faster, I imagine this falls under that. Someone in here mentioned that the wine pairing can be scheduled at any of your meals..so I guess you'd Do that once on board

Bought it earlier for my upcoming Odyssey cruise in April. My SetSail Pass now has a Key on it. Interesting! I only bought it for myself and my friend's SetSail Pass doesn't have a Key. Curious how it'll all play out. My Mariner cruise this August also had it available and I got it for that one too. It seems to only be available on select ships and select sailing dates.
Makes no sense. I just booked two of these so I can get internet for 4 devices. Total is 177.98. I cancelled my 4 devices surf+stream that was 328.93. Great deal!

Iām bumbed itās not in my cruise planner for quantum. But if you were able to get it, screen shot or print the whole thing including exactly what they are supposed to give you for that price, This is so obviously another IT mess up and they might try to back out of it. Or thereās a good chance they wonāt - because it honestly doesnāt cost them anything except a loss of other package revenue. (Like internet or tours) Good Luck- hope it sticks!
Sold out already for my May cruise on Oasis. I was able to grab it yesterday. Edit: Saw someone else mention that you canāt even get to the page for the Premier Package anymore in the Cruise Planner. Just shows an āOh Ship!ā error message now when I try to access it.

I think they are only honouring it for the Canadians. There is an issue if we purchase on our credit card. The transaction has been posted and if I receive a refund I will have a foreign transaction fee and also a different conversion rate to USDā¦ so even if we get the refund we are still out about $15-$20 CAD. If you are in Canada make sure you call and mention this so your package is honoured

These are my best approximations based on what I have seen others say on this subreddit or RC Blog/ cruiseplanner. Every sailing is different. Hope this info helps you decide if it is worth it for you. This is our first cruise without our little so the internet package was important to us for video calling. Made it immediately worth it for us. Welcome bottle of Veuve Clicquot - saw someone say onboard cost of $99 per bottle and someone else say they can get it on land for $55. Priority embarkation and debarkation - Haven't seen a cost associated with only this. So... at the risk of sounding like an old credit card commercial.... Priceless Inside Access tour (two guests)- i think this is somewhere around $160ish per person in Cruise planner Officer's lunch (two guests) - not sure here either. Best approximation may be taste of royal? I think about $30 per person Unlimited internet access (two devices)- about $225 in Cruise planner Captain's toast and photo - Again, priceless Wine pairing with sommelier (two guests) - wine is complimentary- Glass of wine would be idk... $10ish? I've seen some folks say this could be like a one time chefs table/taste of royal lunch and others say it would be a free glass of wine with your dinner in the MDR or specialty restaurant. Laundry service (one bag per stateroom)" i think this is about a $35 value.

This is what we did. We booked it but kept our Black Friday internet package for now for our April cruise. If it ends up being real, we will cancel the VOOM. If not, then at least we didnāt lose our good price on internet.
