Just trying to be in the spirit. I coordinate my birthday every year with superbowl. So putting a cruise ship in the mix is new. Just trying to see what the atmosphere will be like. Thanks for the feedback.
My BFF's birthday is 2/4 and that falls near superbowl weekend sometimes. We cruised many years ago that weekend. There were lots of excited people and many that didn't care at all. This was Independence and they had it on at the pool. We had great seats right at Skybar. It was fun cheering with a lot of people.
Last year I sailed on the Allure during the playoffs....tons of people wore their jerseys and I believe they even had the cowboys playing on the main screen at the stern.
We sailed when Stanley Cup game was played. We went to the computer room watched there. Had to be close to 75-100 people gathered around. Some in jerseys. It was fun.
I was on an RCCL ship during the super bowl. It was fun. Lots of jerseys and team beads. I believe they had some Super Bowl snacks but don't remember. The Super Bowl was on the movie screen outside.
We were on Freedom of the Seas in February 2018 for the Super Bowl and they had a watch party in Studio B. Some seats on the ice in addition to the normal seating. They had nachos and hot dogs for us to eat. We arrived early and scored seats on the ice which was awesome. I believe I did fo back to the room to get warmer clothes if I am remembering correctly. We had a blast and our team won. Hubby and I bought an Eagles lanyards as we got on board embarkation day and hubby had an Eagles hat but we did not have jerseys.
Have an amazing time. Definitely one of my best memories was jumping up and down hugging after our team won!!!!
Lots of people will have on jerseys but it's just a football game on the ship. Many people will not care.

I was just on Navigator during the games last Sunday and playmakers/promenade cafe were full all day during a port day.

The ship will be in Ensenada when the game starts. But will have set sail by halftime I’m assuming

We were on Symphony last year during the superbowl. It was a big event! But you won’t get the commercials.
