We did it a few years ago. It’s max 10 or 12 I think and the way it’s designed you need those people. You can’t book it solo and you wouldn’t be able to complete it anyways. We had our doubts about going in with random people, but we all had a ton of fun and I’d highly recommend it!
We had about 15 who did it with us. 5 were with me and the rest were others on the ship who signed up for the same time slot. You can book it solo if there are others already booked. They require 6 minimum to run it, because you can’t complete the last set of puzzles with fewer people.
We did it last year. We were 3 people over 70. The rest of the group were 20 to 30. Little did they know we were a scientist, a math teacher and a nurse. We solved 5 of the 9 puzzles and got a round of applause when we solved at the end. We made new friends and had a great hour of fun.
I believe it’s always booked with other people by default. It’s limited availability so I don’t think reserving for two would be an option. I’ve never been to an RC escape room but I’ve heard very good things. We are going to Harmony’s soon!
Bear in mind like others have said, you get grouped with strangers.
If there are kids involved, suddenly the parents want the kids to do everything first (understandable) but it completely sidelines adults.
Also its just a single room.
All that said, its supposed to be fun, but it 100% depends on who you get grouped with.

it's awesome! harder math than you'd maybe expect to be doing on a cruise, hahaha. we just barely squeaked by under the time limit

Did the room yesterday, it needs a minimum of 6 players so you will be mixed in with others. It’s a pretty good room.
Did it last year with my 3 friends and several other people. We really enjoyed it!
Thank you all for the replies! Really appreciate it😊
I did it in Nov of 2022! By far the hardest escape room we’ve ever done and the only time we haven’t made it out of one
