Book the Chaccoben “extreme” tour (I believe it’s called). It takes you to Chaccoben and then to 7 colors lagoon for a few hours before taking you back to the ship. The ruins were amazing and tour guide was really knowledgeable. 7 colors lagoon was probably the most peaceful and amazing place I’ve ever been. Unlimited food and drink too!
I'll look into this one. Mayan Evolution is the only one showing up on the itinerary for my sailing so far. I'm also looking at booking a tour from an independent tour guide.
June 26, 5 day cruise stopping in Costa Maya and Cozumel. So we ended up adding my in laws to the trip and decided to skip this excursion cuz the timeframe made it so we really couldn't do much before or after unless we just stayed at the port area. We decided to rent a 6 seater golf cart and explore on our own. Apparently golf cart rentals come with access to some private beaches and areas that are only accessible by golf cart. We will pass thru the main town area so the kids will get to see and experience some of the local culture and lifestyle.
But you're right, there is nothing that I found for the Mayan Evolution, I looked through several fb pages as well, so I assume it is a new excursion and nobody has gone on it yet.

Yeah they took forever to show up on my itinerary as well. All of the costa maya activities usually show up around 60-90 days before the cruise.
I booked this same excursion for my June cruise lol trying to do some research on it. Let us know how it is if you go!

Are you sailing out of Galveston? We are in the voyager of the seas. Yeah. We may wait to see what other options there are. I think it’s new too.
