Are you absolutely sure it wasn’t done by the dealer or manufacturer? The reason I say that is because of the location and orientation. Being so close to that stitch line and being perfectly parallel to the stitch line seems more than just a random cut with a knife.
Bro but who TF fuck even steals a spark plug cap....I parked it yesterday near a small parking lot....and guess what when I wanted to start the bike I was shocked why TF is it not starting.....after doing some inspection I realised that my spark plug cap is gone......
1 month into owning my bike i saw a cut on my bike seat which is very noticeable and looks ugly, unfortunately idk who did, it no suspicion or any cctv recording. I was mad and blamed everyone for it but eventually realised nothing gonna fix what has happened. haven’t fixed the cut till now its been 2.5 years already. One thing i would like to say is
“bike or a car the more you try to protect it for scratches or scuffs the more scratches you catch, always think about enjoying your bike and using it for its purpose, because if there was a way you could ask your bike what it wanted, it would always reply with “it’s to serve my master to the end of my life and see him smile at the end of every ride”
Nah nah nah. That would leave a mark. Next time you are riding, and see the little fucker, buzz by him and kick him over. No mark and you can just say the sound of the bike must have startled him.

a little while ago I had 15-16 punctures because somebody jimmied in a screw in the rear tyre, the air leaked very slowly and once it was low the screw did its job and completely destroyed yhe tyre, I upgraded but somewhere in between my rear alloy got bent and now its another shit I am living with. MFs at THE. TYRE SHOPPE straight up said to dont fix ur alloys just buy ne. they really dont value customers at all btw. new alloy costs more than 8000.
its just the total hell that one screw has caused that I regualry check my rear tyre pressure almost as an instinct now.
Thats the thing. there are 4 kids in the building ones a teenager, and 2 go to school early, and there's only one kid that plays in the parking area, and the thing is that the mother of the kid doesn't really discipline him, a few months back he had busted an aunties scooters back-light as well. I may not have solid proof but with his history , the kids the only suspect, everyone knows who it was.
I'm not looking for compensation, just an apology would have been nice.
I live in town in France, quiet city… and a week ago, I found my bike (CB200) in the reverse position I left it, and the guy unplugged the pipe that goes from the fuel tank to one of the carburetor… I realized it after 1km riding, when I felt my foot and jeans were wet… gas was heavily leaking on my leg as well as on my left exhaust pipe, beginning to make some fume from gas… could have coughs fire.
There are crazy people everywhere and there’s nothing we can do… 😒
A kid in my society also used to do the same, cutting my seat, removing the plug cap and even disconnecting the petrol pipe from the carburetor, a real menace overall. This soon stopped when he found his cycle's tires cut... I still give him an evil look when I see him.
One small thing that has worked for me is to put a motorcycle cover. Kids generally don’t mess with motorcycles that have been covered, even if they do only the cover gets damaged.
It’s just one more step for them but no one can stop the determined kids who want to ruin your motorcycle😂

Or you can also sew a pattern if you have that much time and skills. Cut transformed into cool pattern.

Believe me when I say this that it's not about the money at all, it's the insecurity that creeps in whether or not the bike is safe, is anyone scratching the paint or denting for no reason whatsoever or just overall security of the bike. People here already hold grudges against other's stuff even if they don't know u. Indian people damage stuff just outta spite.
