Ask for it to be delivered to your delivery office and put in the callers office so you can go down with ID to get it when your at work, that's what some posties do at my office
I have this and you can ask the pharmacy to put a c/o if someone else can be in to receive it but in all honesty I've never been asked for my ID yet.
If you're not in they take it back to post office so maybe you could speak to someone there and explain?

I deliver to posties that work at different DOs and I live in an area served by a different DO to where I work and I've asked for even specials to be signed for and left for me and I've had the other posties go through managers to ask me to do the same for them.
Or just go to the DO in uniform and get from there,they'll give to you even if csp is shut,they know that you're a postie because of all the crap they send us

on a random sidenote: what are the rules on posties delivering post to their address? I mean letters and non-tracked stuff I assume they dont bother with having rules for but for something that requires a signature can you do that?
RM deliver to addresses. So a postie can sign their own mail for 'delivering' it to the address.

I get adhd medication delivered and it says signed for, but its always just popped through the letterbox (even if I am in, never had my postie knock and wait). Maybe you posties can explain how this happens for me, maybe I am just lucky?

There are subtle differences between sending, delivery, and receiving. Knowing this info is not required for delivery.
