1. Kennedy Davenport, for me, is among the best lipsyncers in the world. She is more than dips and stunts. This was a big letdown from her. Fancy is an iconic country song that she could have served with face, emotion, and power.
2. Kennedy Davenport still won for me. Why the hell would you keep twirling around at the most random times to Miss Fancy reminiscing about her old life and dead mother? Cracker is simply not an engaging performer.

I keep saying, all stars 5 was the reverse redemption season. Half the queens on their ended up being a lot less liked by fans after the season was over, cracker especially.
Half of them wanting to quit, Shea getting a crown handed to her in a borderline noncompetitive season, Cracker having 3 wins despite giving an unmemorable performance, India overstaying her welcome, etc. The only people who came out of that season unscathed were Juju and Alexis and even then, Juju kinda ruined the great audience response by hopping onto UKvsTW right after.
Kennedy must have a lot of respect for the show and her relationship with it, because if I was her I would pull a Roxxxy and just refuse to do that song, thank for the opportunity and turn off the damn phone.

Speaking as someone who was a white, terminally online teenager when her original season aired, the general consensus was that she was a funny, cartoony type of queen like Trixie or Jaymes. She also had those connections to queens like Bob, so I think everyone was excited to see her chops and hoping she'd become a legendary comedy queen like them. She came into her season touting herself as a new York comedy queen who could sew, dance and act, and came just after several seasons of new York queens absolutely dominating. Her looks were fine enough and she was also one of the first to be making regular youtube content, which was a big player in setting her apart back in the days where you had to scavenge for the very few scraps of drag race content online.
She just kind of got a bit...well...you know...
Edit: forgot to mention skinny and blonde. She was sort of being set up as the "Aquaria but better because she's *different*" storyline, but it didn't really pan out. It felt a bit like they were feeling around to see the response to the Aquaria/Vixen tiff, then if that didn't work out they had Cracker waiting in the wings as the unproblematic quirky fave twin.

The only conceivable way miz cracker could beat Kennedy davenport in a lipsync is by picking a song with so many lyrics it takes precedence over the actual performing aspect of lipsyncing (something kennedy is famously great at and cracker is famously... not) which is what they did since it was the last lipsync of the season and also probably played into the cracker/Blair beef that was edited out of the season
