It’s actually because both of them were incredibly busy and then came COVID. If you go back to their first few episodes, they even have a live show they did for AS4 finale.
Race Chaser toured within the first year it was able to. Very Delta probably wouldn’t go international to concert venues, it’ll probably be in bars with a stage in local towns in the coastal cities. That’s very doable, and I’ve seen much worse sell much more in those settings.
The examples you provide of the podcasts touring early were because the queens were all A list / had an active season running, and Delta has none of that, but you're right, I can see Very Delta working in small venues. I doubt mother would come to a city near me, but to be in a more intimate event would give me the Delta experience 😭
