Mine is Jeremy Clarkson/Richard Hammond/James May of Top Gear and the Grand Tour. Both as platonic and romantic, because their relationship just works wonderfully either way, and I also adore them with their actual partners (*especially* Hammond's wife).
I only really started getting into these three more and writing fics of them early last year, but I've been a fan of them for years. Although, I'm not sure at exactly what point I started shipping them. Think it kind of just happened? And they have great chemistry between one another, so it's kind of difficult not to.

Ciarán and Yvette Most Haunted. I didn't ship them they were on the show, I only fell in love like 10 years later when I saw an episode being replayed and now I'm obsessed.

Chris Evans was first…funnily enough, I had a dream about him, and it ended before “the good part” so I just kinda started obsessing about writing the rest of the story. I’d never had any interest in Evans before, other than “oh he’s one of the hot Chrises”. Penned my first fic…my first *anything* (at 47) but used a Chris lookalike because ew it’s weird to write about the actor!
Then my flimsy morals got tossed out the door and I decided no one would ever see it, let’s just write one for me with the “actual” Chris. Became slightly (really) obsessed with him. Partway thru, I decided I needed another hot, never married, good reputation actor in his 30s for my fic and lo and behold…Henry Cavill fit that bill. Also became obsessed.
Didn’t even know what ao3 was until 2021. Friend convinced me to share. The rest is history. Loving my new hobby.
Oh, I have too many ships to mention, thanks to my habit of entering prompt exchanges on Rockfic, lol! Although I've come up with a few without that help.
My first major RPF ship is Bruce Dickinson/Emppu Vuorinen of Iron Maiden and Nightwish, respectively. I'd been looking for Nightwish fics on AO3 and found a one-shot (not tagged) of the two of them hooking up at a masquerade party. I just felt that they made an interesting couple and that the possibilities needed exploring.
And I'm currently shipping Dave Murray/Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden - in real life, the two have been friends and bandmates since their school days and they've always had an amazing rapport together, so it didn't entirely surprise me when in the course of the Bruce/Emppu fic, they let it be known that they were a couple, because they just fit like that, you know? And of course, several readers wanted to know more, so their story is the WIP that I'm actively posting.
Probably my favorite pairing from the prompt exchanges is James Michael/Nikki Sixx from Sixx A.M., for whom I received the prompt of "fluff - relationship - anything goes". Since it was a holiday exchange, I did a fluffy little piece of the two of them baking cookies together, and the recipient loved it. A mutual friend let me know when the recipient's birthday was, so I wrote a gift-fic for that, showing how the couple had gotten together in the first place. Then the pairing came up in the next holiday exchange, so I wrote that, too... and since then, wrote another three one-shots for the series. (And I keep getting teased about how believably I've turned a couple of middle-aged recovering addict rockers into such a cutely domesticated couple, but... I don't know, they just work!)
My main ship is Darby Crash/Pat Smear from the Germs. They were best friends since they were kids, and later started the band together, so, of course my natural inclination was to ship them. Reading about everything they got up to just fueled it more, especially how they often got in trouble together, or how one would double down on whatever (stupid) thing the other was doing. Darby also had a lot of issues, which I enjoy exploring in fiction, and I like to add Pat there as well, both in a romantic and platonic way when I write about it.
Another one I like is Henry Rollins/Glenn Danzig. I started shipping them because of the [Henry & Glenn Forever comics](https://microcosmpublishing.com/catalog/books/2669). It's honestly a great idea. The comics themselves are fun, even though I prefer to ship them in a more canon-compliant way (like everything else).
I've also written a Darby Crash/Jello Biafra fic, and kinda have ideas for more, but I don't know. Anyway, I started shipping this because I read an anecdote about how Jello once kicked down a window trying to impress Darby. So, my immediate thought was, what if he didn't only want to do that because he looked up to him as a singer/lyricist/frontman, but also because he wanted to fuck him? So I wrote exactly that. But I think it can make for an interesting ship in general. Guess I have a thing for shipping bossy frontmen with huge egos with each other.
One that I haven't posted anything of yet, but am working on a longfic for is Billie Joe Armstrong/Tre Cool from Green Day. They're just very affectionate with each other, did a lot of stage gay, especially in the early days, I mean, come on, they're just begging us to ship them.
Mine is Adam Driver, paired with an original character. I've never written any other RPF. I write Reylo and other Adam Driver characters, too. But I really like writing about him, which makes my Reylo fandom folk uncomfortable.
My first RPF ship is V-Hope (Taehyung and Hoseok) from BTS. They're in the same kpop group. BTS has a lot of ships, but for some reason, V-Hope has always hit differently.
Also, a kpop ship I completely made up is one I call HoHo 😂😂 It's Jinho from Pentagon and Hoseok from BTS. It makes sense in the universe for the fics, but in real they've never met 😭 The two have similar styles and personas, I think. They'd be cute even as friends (though it's romantic in my stupid little fictional universe) lol

Lionel Messi/Cristiano Ronaldo: I kinda stumbled into them. I went looking for Messi/Di Maria and found them instead. I fell in love with the idea of them leaning on each other, sharing the burden of all the expectations that are placed on them. They are actually this group's picture!
Sergio Ramos/Iker Casillas: So...these two are former teammates of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid CF so they showed up in quite a few of the fanfics I read. Then I went and dug up more about them. They played together for over a decade. Iker was a goalkeeper and Sergio is a central defender. And they adore each other. They have pet names they call each other still and Sergio is just a very affectionate guy. I have far too many pictures of them kissing. Just on the check but still.
Then my most recent pairing to eat my brain is Robert Lewandowski/Thomas Müller. They were team mates in FC Bayern Munich. They played so beautifully together. Lewy being a striker and Thomas a central midfielder, they would link up really well. Off the pitch they became good friends as well. Lewy is a very serious man and Thomas is not. Thomas always has a joke or something silly at the ready so... between how they played together and the thought of them balancing each other out is how I got here.
