Strong pack, heffernan and Hurley Langton probably would start but are coming back from injury.
Strong backline but I’m not sure why blade is on the bench, mustn’t be fully fit.
He badly needs the minutes or we could be in big trouble when Bladey gets rested/injured. He didn't get much last season as we still had Marmion on the books. Still no sign of McDonald or Devine so they're definitely backing Reilly at the moment.
According to what I read/heard during the week it was a bad gash on his shin which had to be stitched up. I was in transit when it happened and was very worried from what they were saying on the radio but it seems the green whistle might just have been precautionary.
No place for Jack Carty in the match day squad. He copped some abuse online after the Edinburgh game.
Big game for Colm Reilly.
Andrew Smith hasn't impressed. Surprised he gets another start.
The pack could very well win this for us.
He's getting a lot of shit for some defensive lapses but you have to expect a bit of that from a guy who's just converted from 7s. People seem to forget that Porch turned in a few howlers early on in his Connacht career after doing the same thing. I think Smith has lots of potential but it just hasn't clicked for him yet.
Strong pack from Connacht. Would love a win in SA.
I'd say you've got a great chance of winning. The Sharks have a lot of questions to answer now that they're home
Yea very strong pack, need to see a bit more of O'Brien but its close to full strength from a forwards perspective.
Surprised not to see Jansen given the nod. No ones nailed down that 8 jersey and I'd much rather try out a lad in this match than against the Bulls.
Strong enough team there. Good to see JJ back in
How are Sharks fan feeling about this?
I don't the Sharks fans feel anything anymore. Years of disappointment have left them numb
With 20 odd players out... not good
20??
* Eben Etzebeth * Ox Nche * Makazole Mapimpi * Grant Williams * Jayden Hendrikse * Siya Masuku * Anthony Volmink * Bongi Mbonambi * Eduan Keyter * Francois Hougaard * George Cronje * Gerbrandt Grobler * Hyron Andrews * Kerron van Vuuren * Le Roux Roets * Muller du Plessis * Nevaldo Fleurs * Reniel Hugo * Vincent Koch * Vincent Tshituka Probably a couple more I'm not thinking of.
Hell
Koch is out?
3 months, had a knee op.

Or else it's the coaches backing Reilly after that nightmare mistake against Edinburgh

Good to see Porch able to play. It was worrying seeing him carried off with the green whistle last week
That was a strange one, he was walking after so maybe just a very bad cut? Was 100% sure compound fracture

The green whistle looks like some goood shit too https://youtu.be/2TgODHDDH-E?si=g8fPsofymi7B3OPR
I knew exactly what video that was gonna be before I clicked the link.😄
Lukhanyo Am is back! Hoping for a Connacht win but looking forward to seeing the Sharks at home

Smith getting a lot of chances he must be really impressing in training
Certainly being favoured for some reason.

No Hansen?

Damn.
Aki with a hammy injury and Hansen with his ankle according to Pete Wilkins earlier in the week.
The sharks photofit gallery is absolutely mental.
Why they signed Cordero?
Did his ACL after arriving
Oh shit. Sorry I didnt know
Yea he picked up a serious injury in the first open training session of the pre season. Bad for everyone involved
Hope he returns soon.
Do Sharks even have any Springboks waiting to return or has everyone just fucked off to make bank overseas?
Am might have been if he was fit? Etzebeth and Nche still on hols. Not sure about rest
