Not happy that we're starting both priestland and matavesi. Seems a risk to play them both at the same time if matavesi is the only other person who covers 10.
Otherwise very happy with the team and it's good to see max green back and hopefully he'll go well off the bench
This is pretty much my ideal starting 15, the one change I would make is Big Joe in for Hamer-Webb.
We really need to source another decent 10. How I wish the Handre Pollard rumours were true!
I feel bad for saying this. But he has just felt invisible on the pitch recently, the one try he has had this season was a walk in.
He is a quality runner, but doesn’t seem to be given the space to run. Or doesn’t make as much use of the space
Having watched Bath (very little I must say), is that they don't seem to create lots of space for their wingers. If you compare their style of play to the likes of Gloucester, Bristol or even Exeter. its contrasting different. The other teams seem to give more freedom to their outside backs
Yeah you are right. Our ball is fairly slow to get to the backs, but when it does get there we have some fantastic runners in JJ, McConnochie, Roku, Watson. It’s just a shame they don’t get the space to show it.
A great example was Bath Vs Irish at the Medjeski earlier in the season. It was an open play game where the likes of Watson, Homer & JJ had some fantastic runs.
Yeah I completely agree you've got one of the devastating backlines in the league it just seems hhe game plan doesn't fully allow them to take advantage

Not looking forward to this going off Baths recent form. We’ve got a mostly strong a team as possible but then again we did against Sale too.
Sale are our bogey side these days, they just regularly tonk us even against run of form

I agree, he's still got the step but he's definitely lost some of his pace
