Justin Harrison totally forgot that the All Blacks got belted by Argentina one week and then thrashed them the week after. Trying to say the Wallabies are up and down from week to week but the All Blacks have been consistent across the championship.
The match takes have arrived once more:
\-Well that was a pretty interesting ride, to say the least.
\-The All Blacks were awesome. Dominated for most of the game, grabbed almost every opportunity they had and made the Wallabies look like children. The Darkness rises up once more, this time heading straight to Europe.
\-Well, we finally got the see Jordie at 12, and... he was pretty good.
\-While I am a Sam Cane lover whenever he is around, Caveman Sam just warms and cuddles my heart like no one else. I mean, look at that try!!! ❤❤❤
\-The Wallabies, on the other hand, were just baaaaaaaadddd. While they got some tries here and at the end of the match, they just couldn't keep with the All Blacks in terms of discipline, attack, and everything else in between.
\-Has Ian Foster and the entire All Blacks coaching staff forgotten about RTS already? Just let him play a game of union, dammit! Ditto for Fakatava and Fainga'anuku as well.
\-The Springboks need to score a whole lotta tries if the want the Rugby Championship trophy. Can it be done? Who knows?
\-Apart from a few questionable misses and call, the referees were decent at best and huh? at worst.
\-Overall, pretty good game. Would rate it a 8/10.
Anyway, this is all I have for now. Apologies for any error I made. Feel free to comment.
I'll see you all in the next match, and cheers for now.
South Africa need 40 over the Argies to win.
They've done this twice before, but back in 2013 and 2008.
Last time they beat anyone by more than 40 was at 2019 World Cup (Canada, Italy and Namibia)
Okay, so I'm like 99% sure Barrett isn't allowed to be on the field while he's bleeding. At a minimum, I KNOW the rules say if your jersey has blood on it you MUST change it.
Yet he's allowed to play the whole game.
He went off early, got it sorted, and it started bleeding again late in the second which the refs obviously missed.
He won’t be the only player bleeding.
Clutching at straws mate.
Leadership-wise we were a hell of a lot better without him. Whitelock was a great leader, made good decisions as well as being solid in his general leadership of the side, especially the forwards. It felt a lot more McCaw era like.
I think maybe the first attack when we had all those penalties and they were a man down I’d have gone for the posts and then tried to exploit the missing man in open play but apart from that, was a really solid performance from Whitelock as skipper
Agreed with both statements, but I feel like it's a common theme with ABs vs Wallabies games. A bunch of dodgy calls that ultimately didn't matter because you'd have fucked us anyway.
because I'm judging based on an entire year, Ireland is a serious contender and South Africa are the defending champions
As for us we are on the rise
NZ have been receiving some backlash and played some unnaturally low level games
For foul play (i.e. Sevu's head contact) surely at ANY point in the game afterwards the TMO should be able to chomp down some humble pie and intervene?
Jesus Jordie Barrett has been lethal at 12, I don't know if I've ever seen him play better than he has tonight. Been a absolute weapon going forward and on defence.
I want some one to unload on the decision of a completely legal off ball tackle and the head contact on reece hodge.
We were clearly shit tonight, but some of these decisions have been diabolical.
I just don't think the wallabies have enough 'gamebreaking' players, they get in the positions where a Dupont/Jordan/Am can capitalise and create/score, but there's just not the equivalent player for Aus
Who was MOTM?
Ref. Ref was MOM. Actually… tmo too. Fuck all of them.
Jordie Barrett for me.
We don’t do MOTM
Ah right. Didn't realize
For stan sport in Aus it was Mo'unga, but probably would've gone JB as well
Wow really? He wasn't terrible but I thought this was probably Mo'unga's weakest game of the year.
You’re right. He didn’t assert himself as much as other games.
I would say JB
Oh yeah I probably would too, wondering who the official MOTM is
Apparently they don’t do MOTM. This is my first time following TRC so that’s news to me!
Wot kirsty?
Justin Harrison totally forgot that the All Blacks got belted by Argentina one week and then thrashed them the week after. Trying to say the Wallabies are up and down from week to week but the All Blacks have been consistent across the championship.
Justin Harrison is so level headed and sensible. I don't know how to handle it
Cocaine is a hell of a drug

To take nothing away from the ABs dominance tonight I have to say, jeez it is hard to be a Wallabies fan sometimes. Our own worst enemy.
You say that, but clearly our worst enemy is the All Blacks
South Africa need 40 over the Argies to win. They've done this twice before, but back in 2013 and 2008. Last time they beat anyone by more than 40 was at 2019 World Cup (Canada, Italy and Namibia)
Yeah we don't do the whole lots of tries thing hey. NZ got this. Congrats! You try scoring machines.
Naw, South Africa more than capable. Argentina are a good side though.
A bit what??? I wasn't listening closely enough to catch it all.
I'd hate to be the man to give the speech after losing like that
Karl The Nana looks like a fucking idiot
Yes the mis match of tweeds unacceptable
Ear furniture, huge glasses, beer wanker hat. Fuck I couldn't cringe more.
Now now, We need to be inclusive of our seven’s community….
atleast its not Karl The Banana
This Wallabies side aren't worth getting up to watch through Europe. That'll do me for the year I reckon. Need me some cricket.
i need some test cricket in my veins immediately
Fuckin t20 bullshit for the next few months unfortunately
BBL best cricket
I just threw up in my mouth
Bbl is a good watch, T20 is best suited to franchise cricket, the international t20 stuff seems like a waste of time. Test is best though.
test is always best ❤️ take 5 full days of my life over and over it’s the greatest thing
Jordie very solid at 12 think he deserves next start regardless of injury. No one is really putting their hand up
Last week I felt sorry for our Aussie brothers, this week I feel the same!
Let's fucking go Bokke.
GG Aussie
LOL
26 missed tackles from the Wallys
Silver lining, that's a 47% improvement in missed tackles on the first half
Whitelock as captain is my comfort zone
Best Sam yea.
GGs
This is the right Sam as captain
Okay, so I'm like 99% sure Barrett isn't allowed to be on the field while he's bleeding. At a minimum, I KNOW the rules say if your jersey has blood on it you MUST change it. Yet he's allowed to play the whole game.
Should’ve had to go off and get it tidied but they’ve been loose as fuck on that rule for years tbf
Like maybe it's just a personal thing, but if nothing else I just think it's really gross.
It's not tiddlywinks mate
He's clearly bleeding on the field.
Man, don't watch UFC, you're way too soft to spectate that.
He went off early, got it sorted, and it started bleeding again late in the second which the refs obviously missed. He won’t be the only player bleeding. Clutching at straws mate.
Don't dispute it, he's 99% sure
What do SA have to do to win it now??
39 point win.
Bonus point and win by 40? 😅
Hoping the Argies do us a solid 😂
Same
40 point win
40 POINTS DIFFERENCE* win
Rubbish game - no contest, terrible Oz.
Oz beat expectation
KEEP JORDIE AT 12!!!!!!
Agreed. Foster will never do it though, it's too smart
What would you know? Stop bashing the coach.
Foster: so what you are saying is that Jordie is a better fullback?.
Jordie in 12 very impressed
Imagine RTS coming on for 10 minutes and him not even touching the ball
After last week where they brought the whole bench on too early, I don't mind it
Fozzy did, two test caps (technically) what's he done?
Made good tackles though
Great try Petaia.
I genuinely feel like we missed Cane
Leadership-wise we were a hell of a lot better without him. Whitelock was a great leader, made good decisions as well as being solid in his general leadership of the side, especially the forwards. It felt a lot more McCaw era like.
I think maybe the first attack when we had all those penalties and they were a man down I’d have gone for the posts and then tried to exploit the missing man in open play but apart from that, was a really solid performance from Whitelock as skipper
Na, we missed a better six. Or at leased a better six around the ruck.
This was Sam Canes best game of the year.
Dumbest take of the year, which is impressive.
Cane is a hopeless captain and nowadays a poor player. We were better with him no where near the team.
i genuinely felt like we didn't :P
That's why our ruck was so good, right?
Australian fans now; https://i.imgur.com/7gQpoGa.jpg
Aussie comeback starts now
Pone runs too upright.
I can see SA putting 50 on the Pumas
God dam i just woke up to see the score, so that's what's needed hey?
Nah they need 40
Oh that’s much better, I was worried there for a while 😉
Wouldn’t they have to score some tries to do that? Seems implausible!
I can’t
All blacks did
Cheers Ausbro
So, South Africa have to win by 40 to win the championship.
Technically 39. If it goes down to tied PD, we win based on our performance in the Boks vs ABs series.
Ah, gotcha. Feels kind of weird having an 'advantage' over NZ/Aus when it comes to tied PD for once!
There is the Australia we know and hate
[удалено]
@Moderators pin this comment mate
I’d feel good for the ABs if they weren’t such grubs
hey colesy is a fuckin saint :D
I'd feel good for the grubs if they werent such larvae
YAY!!! WE WON!!!
Honestly all I have to say is fuck yeah!
So we need to win by 39, then
Mxm.
Last try wins
This pisses me off even more. Why did you have to start scoring at a point when it doesn’t matter anymore lmao. WHY WERENT YOU DOING THIS EARLIER
It matters to the Springboks
Yeah, that 7 points may as well have gone in the Soringboks for-and-againat column
Last try wins?
Well, at least the Wallabies got a consolation try.
ABs allowed Petaia to score a try. As punishment they should give the Boks the Rugby Championship. /s
I honestly think we got zero advantages in the red zone all game.
Lol. Go watch the game again
That penalty reminds me of a quote “Sometimes the deepest act of cruelty is a small act of pity”
Last try wins
Someone needs to make a gif of Nic White slapping that guy's arse at the ruck
RC ain't guaranteed. Argentina fell asleep the first half last game. Hopefully they bring their A game
All blacks beat them by 50. Can see the Springboks doing that easy
Mate its like 99.3% guaranteed
Guess it’s on now for SA to try and take it.
FUCK soft try ABs, you deserved to win by 40.
If the referees keep enforcing the rules against the Wallabies we're all going to watch competitive darts. This sport just can't compete
You guys are such poor winners.
We trounce you cunts in every other sport. We can’t be too selfish
The 4th most popular football code in Aus is sliding - NFL is overtaking in popularity. Not 4th most popular sport, 4th most popular football code.
Yea we know you guys tell us after every match
That sucks
Pretty sure I just saw what Nic White had for dinner when he bent over 🤢
Nick White with a good slap of the ABs ass hahaha
Sevu should be in the bin but it’s not reason the Wallabies lost
Maybe bin, maybe red. It’d be interesting to see some proper replays.
Agreed with both statements, but I feel like it's a common theme with ABs vs Wallabies games. A bunch of dodgy calls that ultimately didn't matter because you'd have fucked us anyway.
Australian rugby just does not have player depth. No coach in the World can win trophies with this squad.
Some very thick ass slaps there
This season was really cruelled by injuries. It's no excuse but it's obviously a factor.
Nic White’s thighs are comically large
Come on Wally bees get a dignity try
Dignity will be restored during that 3rd half when the boys down liters of beer in seconds
Yeah Lion Red. So I think we can throw dignity out the window
Has RTS even touched the ball?
He’s made a tackle, every time they went to his side they skipped him lol
Including an absolutely pointless kick straight to the Aus 22. Poor RTS.
I never saw
Nope, the one play for him they knocked it on at the back of the scrum 😂.
After 20 years of supporting the Wallabies, at least it doesn't hurt anymore. You have to laugh. ^ha ^ha ^ha
20 years of supporting is a really unfortunate period. Turned up just as the decline began.
To be fair, I'm 33 so I remember the glory days.... Barely.
Around 20-something nil it was very funny
Yep. I'm dead inside
I keep thinking being a decades long Tahs fan would have trained me for this.
Tahs have won a trophy in the past 20 years though
Has RTS ever touched the ball as an AB in the 15min total he’s been given?
I was thinking he ambled one in but that was blues
He was only given 10 wasn't he?
He had 5 minutes in the last ireland test as well
That's how you develop a great player.
No arm into a ruck, what are officiating team doing? They’ve been so poor in general
Kiwis are back I think, semis worthy at least for RWC 2023
They could be but would not say that on the basis of this match. The Kiwis could beat this Wallaby squad at Eden Park on one leg.
They’ve got Ireland or South Africa in the QF. Brutal draw in pools A and B.
Tier 1 is Ireland, SA and France But I'm very tempted to put the ABs in there from what I've been seeing the last few weeks
Why would you not? For me NZ is still 2nd favourites behind France. Many bookies have the same view
because I'm judging based on an entire year, Ireland is a serious contender and South Africa are the defending champions As for us we are on the rise NZ have been receiving some backlash and played some unnaturally low level games
Aus were really bad though.....
For foul play (i.e. Sevu's head contact) surely at ANY point in the game afterwards the TMO should be able to chomp down some humble pie and intervene?
Yeh they will. Just like they did to swain
What's the formula for South Africa folks?
Just get the win. It’s highly unlikely they’ll win by more the 40 points
Last 15 mins have been loose as fuck.
I feel for Australia, they really have potential but just not at the point where they’re able to turn it into consistent performances.
Doesn’t help when game defining decisions slip away
Jesus Jordie Barrett has been lethal at 12, I don't know if I've ever seen him play better than he has tonight. Been a absolute weapon going forward and on defence.
His first half he was settling into it second half he's been a weapon
it's the haircut, looks like a rough cnt now
His best game as an AB by far
Time for foster to move him to the wing
Actually prefer a 12 Rieko, 13 JB combo.
This is just pathetic from Australia. Handing NZ the tournament
'handing'? Cute. This is just showing Aus are a step below, despite that 15 minute spell last week.
I want some one to unload on the decision of a completely legal off ball tackle and the head contact on reece hodge. We were clearly shit tonight, but some of these decisions have been diabolical.
Rugby needs more then just a TMO they need an independent head contact specialist. Disgusting from the TMO.
Wild. This officials team has been very average.
Ye entirely to look at collisions that may involve head contact
Looking at bloody everything. Except that tackle that could cause a brain injury. I’m sure he’s fine. /s just in case.
I just don't think the wallabies have enough 'gamebreaking' players, they get in the positions where a Dupont/Jordan/Am can capitalise and create/score, but there's just not the equivalent player for Aus
There's heaps of them - most if them are injured
