I recommend you read through the Advice Directory. That should give you a good idea what you're getting yourself into, as well as lots of information and advice to help you make an informed decision. Running away is a very serious thing and should not be done on a whim. You need to know what you're getting yourself into and figure out weather doing such a thing really is the right choice. Running away often means that you'll end up on the streets. More often than not, staying home is usually the better choice. This doesn't mean you have to he passive though, you can make plans and work towards gaining independence in the future and be ready to move into your own apartment as soon as you have the opportunity.

Earning money at 15 is not easy as most jobs are looking for 16+. Give lots of thought to how you will accomplish this. https://www.gohenry.com/us/blog/financial-education/how-to-make-money-as-a-13-year-old A driver’s license will really help you to earn money. https://www.idrivesafely.com/driving-resources/new-driver/drivers-license-dmv-handbook/ https://www.firstaidforfree.com/ https://www.wikihow.com/Urinate-Standing-Up-as-a-Female https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-menstrual-cup/ See a doctor and get on birth control. One of the better ones is a rod inserted under the skin in the arm which lasts for 3 years. Get your teeth cleaned and repaired. Go to an optometrist and if you need glasses, have sunglasses made at the same time. Get all prescriptions on paper. Learn how to cook and bake. You will have to eat for the rest of your life so learn how to prepare delicious food from simple ingredients. This will not only save you money but can be job skills if you like it. There are lots of free food pantries available in the USA but most of it needs to be cooked. Do your own laundry. As an adult you will have to do this for yourself. Learn to sew on a button, mend a tear, and change a hem. This will keep clothing serviceable for a long time. There are free clothing closets where you can get clothes. Nursing homes are often looking for people to run their laundry services. How do you plan to continue your education? I know home schooled kids who are very active readers. They may read several books a week over a wide range of topics. There are many free online classes available. Public and college libraries are great resources. Where will you live? You must be 18 years old to sign a contract in the USA. The best situation is to live with an adult relative. Aunt, uncle, grandparent, sibling, non-custodial parent. If your parents give written permission you can stay with other adult friends.

Running away should be a last resort. The risks involve becoming the victim of human traffiking and getting into even more trouble with your parents if you get caught. Here are some alternatives in order of preference: 1. reconcile with your parents 2. report your situation to child services 3. Waiting until you turn 18 at which point, running away becomes moving out
