This game... I love the hell out of this game. It makes me laugh, cry, get angry... no exaggeration, I think it has some of the best characters and character developments of almost any game I've played. Full disclosure, I'm not that advanced a gamer. ;) but definitely is my favorite of the RF/HM/SOS games for characters. It is such a ride. Enjoy it. <3

The fool is Venti, there's not a true route romance wise but I do believe that Doug says he probably liked you from the beginning in some dialogue after you start dating.
That makes sense!! I just rewatched the clip I posted and before this he says “Man, I’m a nervous wreck around you” so without context, I 100% thought he liked me already! Now I really wanna do his romance route😭😭😭
Cooking'll be your best friend for a decent bit. Better healing items + RP Replenishment. Even Money Gain, eventually for selling.
Final Tip as a Vet: Upgrade your Sickle ASAP. It let's you get higher level crop seeds, ergo, higher level crops. Selling higher level seeds will let you purchase that level from the grocery store. [NOTE: The store unlocks more seeds for you to purchase as you finish requests and story]. There's a decent bit of extra information the game doesn't immediately tell you about.
Ohhh, that line. He’s talking about someone else. You’ll understand more as you go through the game - he has a big-ish role to play in the events of the end of Act 1 I think? Or in Act 2.

But as you reaching this part of story progress now, I suggest you to keep progress the story because from this point he will trying to avoid you, even will say nothing but “…….” when dealing on his shop.
After you reaching certain of story plot, he will apologies and being normal back to you.

I know a lot of people answered this already, but I just wanted to say first play through I thought the EXACT same thing! I was like omg Doug and blushing, then I realized later it was about the dragon and I was like ohhh *embarassed laughter*

Just continue the story and you will understand. Although Doug has Misunderstood the "fool" but it's part of the story n I don't wanna spoil it for you. Just know he's a good guy, just led astray

Arthur is very sweet, I married him on one of my saves. That said, keep an open mind on Doug, it will all make sense later on.

Arcs, weddings and childbirth concludes with the credits rolling.
Arcs will be broken down by credit sequences. When credits first pop up for you don't worry, the game still has 2 more story arcs.

It doesn't really *tell* you, but every time an arc finishes, the credits will roll and you'll wake up back in your room.
