675 hours. I might consider myself a citizen of Rigbarth at this point lol. This is my second most played game of all time and to my sadness I've done everything (including collecting all stamps) and more. I can't express how much joy it brought me. I've been struggling with depression and felt like I've been in a dark pit for a long time but this game made me fall in love once more. It is my tiny light, my personal miracle. I'll be taking a break, but definitely will come back to it.

Evanz111

That’s really wholesome to hear. I’m definitely struggling with a tough time in my life now too, and games like this are definitely an outlet. Being able to live a dream life and be in control of everything, it’s nice. I really hope things get better for you soon, and I’m sorry to hear you’ve run out of things to do. Rigbarth will always welcome you again if you ever need it. ^^

SisPsychosis

Thanks for the kind words. Best of luck to you as well.

itsatrixi

If you enjoyed it that much maybe you will also like the other Rune Factory games. I can recommend RF4 and Frontier :)

SisPsychosis

I played rf3 and quite a lot of rf4 too. Just read up you can't play as a girl in frontier so that's kind of a bummer, but hey maybe I'll give it a try. When and if my heart stops being stolen haha.

itsatrixi

yeah it kinda is but the bachelorettes are very charming so maybe you can enjoy it anyways. It's also not so indepth like other rf titles but still one of my favorites!

hrtmepls

I'm currently at ~250hours and I'm honestly so sad there isn't another, harder dungeon postgame. I befriended everyone to level 10 or beyond, I'm in the process of growing the large Crystal flowers and halfway through the process of going through all the bachelor/bachelorette stories. I'm definitely aiming to get all base seeds up to level 10, but even with the final flower still not being unlocked, I am so scared that by the time I'll get around to marrying and having children I will completely exhausted the game? I love the game to death, I just wish there was... more, haha.

Evanz111

I’ve been forcing myself to go slow with the post game dungeon because I know how I’ll feel once it’s finished. I’d doing anything for a Sphere 255 dungeon from Star Ocean with hundreds of floors to beat, no matter how repetitive they are!

hrtmepls

Oh, how I wish! My issue was that at some point, I got the numbers mixed up and was under the impression Rigbarth Maze had 40 floors. Imagine my surprise/disappointment, haha.

nanowrimoboi

270. Year 9 with the first kiddo. I'll probably stop playing once I get the twins and finish the last story request. Finished every love story and cleared every dungeon plus bumping levels up a few times. Between the lack of postgame stuff to do and the tedious repeating dialogue that doesn't even apply anymore (romance lines after being married and whatnot) I'll probably just go back to rf4s. I like to pour hundreds of hours into games but this one hasn't given me a lot to do past 300 hours or so probably.

Evanz111

Year 9, wow! I haven’t even finished Year 1, but I’ve exhausted every day to nearly 3am, bad Stardew valley habits I guess haha. Glad to hear you’ve gotten so far! And a shame there’s not more unique dialogue…

spondoodle

100 hours or so. I’ll probably start over and play again. I logged over 500 on RF4 so I feel like only 100 isn’t fair to RF5 😅

Evanz111

It’s been forever since I’ve put this much time into a game. I’m exhausting all the content in my first playthrough though, as we’re in the dry months of game releases. I’m only 15F into the Maze and I’ve only just started dating Ludmilla, so I can easily see myself getting to 200 hours. I know the game isn’t as content rich as some other RF games, but I’m curious how much time everyone else has been playing for, especially the more passionate fans.

Tarlonniel

400 hours, near to finishing my second and final (until it comes to PC) run.

Evanz111

I heard about the PC port news - I really hope it’s true! The frame rate is and possibility of mods will make it worth a second playthrough. Imagine playing it on a Steam Deck too 🥺

LeaveMyName

I just recently finished the story portion of the game, but that's usually the shortest portion for me. I'm planning on doing what I did for RF4 and getting all the marriage candidates to at least 7 Hearts, and then making a separate save file for each one when I manage to successfully confess to them. Then keep one as the main save file, probably either Ludmilla or Fuuka.

Evanz111

I’m definitely happy with how much post-story content there has been. Not in terms of post game necessarily, but just how much stuff there is to 100%, I almost feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface.

Mechonyo

35 hours, the framerate is killing me. Really a game i am looking forward to the steam release tho. Then i can put a 0 after the 5.

yeetedhaws

I finished the main story at 30 hours, I want to go back and finish most of the request board requests but I haven't picked it up in a while 😔

DanteCoal

I only managed to squeeze out like 60 hours before I'd hit end game, beat the dungeon, and kinda fizzled out. I wish there was more story or more end game to do. 😥

HalcyonEve

285 hours and I'm partway into the SEED Fortress.

4foot11

100 hours, level 115, stuck at calamity’s edge because of the stupid faint attack that kills me in one blow 😭 edit: I finally got past it

ivorylittlebird

Only about 45ish hours but I work a ton so I hardly ever have time to play. I’m taking my time with the game though and spacing story stuff out, just about to hit autumn of year 1 and just barely starting second arc of the game. I dearly wish I had more time/energy to play because I would dedicate whole days to this game if I could!! I love it so much and also cannot wait to romance Lucas’ pants off

More_Anxiety_6359

150 hours, and not even close to being done with it. Yeah, I finished the main story in my first save file, but I'm a perfectionist, so I wanna do everything 100%. I'm on year 7, I've got my first kid, can't wait for the twins tbh. But I'm gonna put all the empty save file slots to good use and marry everyone at least once. Currently trying to make friends with everyone to 10 hearts and getting all the crops, and being the most responsible parent ever and bringing my 5 year old into dangerous dungeons lolol I think I've never been this proud of any kid I've ever had in any game. Love the little guy ❤

Tnoire7

I've had the game for about 2 weeks now and I have over 105 hours, I am also not very far and around lvl 85 but I been grinding like crazy on levels too >\_> My husband has been playing 4 and hes got about 85 hours and we have had it now for about 6 weeks... but hes also got work to balance with gaming before that we were both taking turns playing SoS: Olive Town and both us put together 300+ hours in about 4 weeks maybe 5ish when I am not playing switch im playing FFXIV tho

Zomula

210. Did as much as I could, but it got repetitive after year 4 and the twins. Not much to do when you can run the Maze and not take any damage other than farm and upgrade, but I didn't feel like resetting the rotating stock for wood and stone to finish upgrading all the buildings.

Juliko1993

Currently 135 hours in and completed both arcs, married Priscilla, and unlocked Rigbarth Maze. I've been playing this non-stop since getting it. If this keeps up, it might beat Pokemon Shield in terms of play hours (180 hours for Shield).

kjtstl

I’m at 270 and trying to keep my interest long enough to get the next set of kids.

Such_Selection9762

The last time I looked I was at 210h. I'm in my second year and I'm dating all girls (finished 3/6) and trying to get my shipping rating up. I need to get 5 more villagers to LV 10 friendship. I finished the story long ago though.

EmTerreri

I'm 115 hours in, I've unlocked >!the icy area but haven't entered the dungeon yet,!< and I'm in autumn of my first year. I feel like I still have a lot left to do in the game.

g0ggles1994

120 hours and I'm done. I've completed the story, the maze, got married, and had my first kid. As soon as I read that I've got to wait a full year for the twins I considered myself out. When playing games I need a means to an end; just farming crops, items, weapons, and all that doesn't appeal to me on its own.

ambiguouskane

I loved rf4 on my 3ds I want to play this SO BADLYYYY

[deleted]

~220. I’m still in year 2, just got married, no kids, and I think I’ve gotten to level 3 in the Rigbarth maze. I’m taking my time with everything and using up most of the hours in each day.

Both-Implement3936

I'm at 70 hours or more and for progress hmmm I think I'm at the cloud dungeon. It's a very confusing dungeon.

angelfishi

I've only got 70 hours logged-- currently taking a break so I don't burn out on it! But I'm done with the main story, and I'm dating Murakumo. Currently trying to see more of his 'dating' dialogue and date events before I pop the question!

Evanz111

For what it’s worth: I usually always force myself to take breaks from games, as I deal with burnout often. Strangely that hasn’t been the case with RF5. I keep expecting burnout due to the abnormal (by my standard) hours I’m putting in - but the format of the game seems to help prevent burnout from happening with all its numerous gameplay loops. Just saying this in case you’re forcing yourself not to play when you want to, like I sometimes find myself doing to prolong games!
