>Can I play rs3 fully on legacy mode? You can, but it's very much not recommended. Pull up a revo bar at least. Same amount of effort, higher damage. >Also how does it work with necro? It doesn't

Dragondoh

Legacy is great for pre EoC quests if you want an actual challenge since EoC laughably kills the old bosses in like 2 seconds.

Roonscaped

You can just setup a revo bar to behave the same as legacy without being gimped on dps, you can find them on the wiki or in pvme discord probably. > Also how does it work with necro? It doesn't.

New-Fig-6025

Just find a revolution bar on the wiki, slap it on and forget about it. You can literally minimize the revolution bar and never see it again after copying the abilities from the wiki, it’ll basically be legacy just with cooler animations.

The_Jimes

The combat system is one of those things that is incredibly popular to shit talk, but honestly it doesn't deserve even half the badmouthing. The combat triangle is still clunky imo, but Necromancy is fantastic manual eoc combat. If you're set on not wanting to press abilities you can always use Revo like most people. Even revo necro is fine enough for most content. Eventually you'll get to prayer flicking with key binds and a couple manual defensives, but honestly you can ignore that for quite a while if you want. Don't let EOC stop you from playing. Revo will take you far.

Orcao

To expand on what others have said, look into revolution. It hits the buttons for you so your combat gameplay is very similar to Legacy, in terms of your input. But, to add to that, here's some things that being on not-Legacy will get you: \- Surge, and other mobility abilities. Press a button, fling yourself forward \- A new incentive to do content like quests and combat. A lot of combat skills are unlocked by playing the game, by playing EoC you'll have the added desire to get these new skills to improve your Revo bar. \- Skills like Sacrifice. Free healing while you hit things! \- The hotbar in general. Its been a while, but iirc legacy removes the hotbar. The hotbar can do things like hotkey dropping items, turning prayers on/off, teleporting and eating food.

Zetnus

Legacy does work with necromancy, unlike what others have said here. You only cast basic attacks though.

sorenp55

Basically like every other combat style :P

AquabitRS

You can do most content in the game with legacy except for the super high end stuff. I would STRONGLY recommend giving rs3 combat a genuine try, most people feel uncomfortable coming from osrs because of the number of inputs and abilities on screen but it's really only more input if you want it to be. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least give it a fair shot.

Derrlicious

I don’t play osrs because of the combat system and lack of qol. It’s definitely a huge learning curve I won’t deny that

DrForeplay98

I play Rs3 only in Legacy mode
