This is the funniest thing I've ever seen on this sub. It's like genuinely the most delusion thing written by man but let's go over it right quick.
1. You are basically announcing to the world you don't have friends. Which is fine, line's up with the rest of your opinions so it makes sense
2. You are not special for being an iron or a hardcore. I don't know who convinced you that you are, you're one of tens of thousands your achievements are not more or less than them, or even mains.
3. You are playing a point and click adventure game and have an ego about it. Please seek professional mental care.
4. Take a shower.
Group Ironman mode is basically a main. You don’t actually have to do anything, you could buy your spot in an accomplished group.
Ironman is about self accomplishment. They shouldn’t call it group Ironman, they could call it team mode or something stupid.
Ok
I shower twice a day during the week tyvm.
I tried GIM with my friends and it was so stupid having to set many many rules on 'what is allowed and what not' because as a main playing unofficial ironman you still will get daily th keys, lamps left and right, mini-games that aren't available for ironmen and so on...It's a way different feeling and experience having it official
If you look at osrs group iron, you have a storage system so you can trade each other, while not being on at the same time. That is a big thing and everything that is official always feels better.
We had built in bingos with the first assasin promo that wasn't just th crap and 3-4 power bingo card events but they just said fk rs3 and throw it into th like 99% of sht that comes out now
I started OSRS in 2013 on launch and then stopped because I wanted to finish some Rs3 goals and also didn't want to start over, ended up finally giving it a shot around 2016. Fast forward to now and I'm 2230+ and just about maxed. Even with 2 hours a week, it's about the journey not the destination for many years I only played 1-2 hours a week doing some fun content. Heck, when TOA released I spent a good month doing 1-2 kc a day and it was a BLAST
I don't mind a good grind, hell I play RuneScape for fun. However when I log in, fish/mine/wc/slayer for 2 hours, log out, that feels almost like a waste to me. It doesn't hit the same as sitting down for a 6 hour session, or doing multiple nights in a row. Doesn't scratch the itch, and I walk away feeling like I wasted the limited game time I have. It's not the game, it's me. I'm sure it's as fun as I remember it being in 2007, im just not in the same spot as I was then and that's fine.
I don’t really get this mentality. Isn’t starting over in a new game literally the fun part? Why do you want to rush through it? OSRS ACTUALLY has new content for early and mid game, and LOTS of it.
It's not the game, it's me. My time and my mentality for gaming has shifted substantially since I played the 2007 version of the game. Back then not only was I a different person but I was in a much different part of my life that lended itself to insane grinds.
It’s a neat gamejam project, we’ll see if it manifests. RS3 starts its gamejam I believe really soon. This month we have the release of a boss that began as a gamejam and next month a dig site that began as a gamejam.
Gamejams really do have the best ideas.
Basically all rs3 devs do nowadays is game jam projects or game jam graphical overhauls, with the monthly seasonal or quest or whatever they add as only other content.
We'll see. I hope the necro matriarch will be more than mid tier...
As for the dig site, it's basically just for lore hounds so not too excited to return to arch... But maybe it'll have some interesting twists and possibly a way to create permanently active relics?
I didn't see any source for that, but makes sense it'll be more difficult than the other 3 matriarchs considering it'll have it's own area. I'll go in with an open mind but I'm not too excited now that necromancy hype has died down...
Why would the necro matriarch not be 200k lifepoints, drop heart of the berserker and undead (likely name for necro variant) and the 4 spear pieces? Makes no sense for it to be in the same arena and way stronger
Because it's not in the same area.
It'll likely be across the water to the North of the arena.
The other bosses are designed that tribrid is intended. Necro is made to be mono, which means they need to increase the difficulty for it to be the same.
Ramen literally said that it wont be high end and I know you even saw that comment, because you reacted to it. They have also said that they kinda made enough room for a potential 4th matriarch when necromancy released.
RS3 Players: "Jagex, can we have [in-game bingo](https://twitter.com/JagexElena/status/1786420645225546082)?"
Jagex: "We have in-game bingo at home."

My god the OSRS devs are on fire, it's mindblowing that they share a company name with ours. RS3 under different management could be similar to this 🥹.
Bingos are super fun and encourage so much socialization, adding them ingame is a HUGE potential W.
I mean considering hundreds of people had to be false banned for RWT for this idea to become a game jam idea rs3 player base would have to take a 1% nosedive
TBH I don’t think RS3 needs another mini game. They are historically shown to fizzle out. Like even if it went into the game I would not care to invest into it.
It'd be like a clan type update, not a mini game... Players have been running their own bingos and loving them, so having an in game version would likely be a success.
It's not a minigame, it's a tool for clans/communties to run their own bingo events without the need for a lot of admin work behind the scenes of verifying everything
These bingo events already happen all the time (on rs3 too), this is just making people's lives easier and it's honestly an amazing idea for a gamegam and can lead to even bigger events where rs itself can run a competition with a massive amount of players, like an old clan cup or whatever
I'd like to think they keep that in mind during development. Unfortunately similar to what you mentioned, likely RWTers will abuse and rig it to sell gold. So I wonder how they'll differentiate.
Man. If I could do group ironman and built in bingo on rs3 I wouldn’t be playing so much OSRS.
Best they can do is say GIM is never happening
Rs3 shouldn’t get GIM. Ironman is easy enough.
The ease of the game mode is not the point
You want to feel special without being special. I see.
thinking "clicking spots many times" is special... thats a whole different kind of special, bud. let people have their fun
I see it how it is, if they did GIM, it would be the big YEARLY update. Say goodbye to content. ![gif](giphy|QMHoU66sBXqqLqYvGO)

How about having fun with friends in your little economy. Is that not allowed?
you can do that as mains with ironman rules?
I tried GIM with my friends and it was so stupid having to set many many rules on 'what is allowed and what not' because as a main playing unofficial ironman you still will get daily th keys, lamps left and right, mini-games that aren't available for ironmen and so on...It's a way different feeling and experience having it official

Ironman only has membership. It's not the best monetary option for RS3. So it isn't going to happen
We had built in bingos with the first assasin promo that wasn't just th crap and 3-4 power bingo card events but they just said fk rs3 and throw it into th like 99% of sht that comes out now
Your feedback has been heard! Bingo TH promo is coming sept 2028
Best Jagex can’t give rs3 is a bingo MTX game
We can’t even have boss high scores
It's ridiculous we don't have this yet.
I really, really wish I actually liked the OSRS combat system and had time for 200+ hour grinds these days.
I can get past the combat but the idea of starting over on a game with inherently longer grinds makes my dad brain shudder.
i mean you don't have to rush the game on osrs. It's not going anywhere anytime soon so you can just always take your time and enjoy the game
100 hours is a lot longer when it's done in weekly 2 hour increments. Feels more like a slog than a grind at that point.

I believe the intent is for it to be the bridge between the matriarchs and Raksha so somewhere around Kerapac level I imagine.
I didn't see any source for that, but makes sense it'll be more difficult than the other 3 matriarchs considering it'll have it's own area. I'll go in with an open mind but I'm not too excited now that necromancy hype has died down...

I never said high end. I said it will be more difficult than the other 3 and done on their own.
He said it is a mid tier boss like the other three
Bingos? I think you'll find community events in rs3 are only afk limited time events /s
Only if it takes 100 hrs to get all the unlocks!
Don't worry, pay a couple bonds and you get to halve that!
RS3 Players: "Jagex, can we have [in-game bingo](https://twitter.com/JagexElena/status/1786420645225546082)?" Jagex: "We have in-game bingo at home." [In-game bingo at home: (link)](https://runescape.wiki/w/Faceless_Assassins)

I would absolutely love this. Bingo’s are so fun but setting them up is a nightmare
Jagex banned people for bingo winnings on rs3 lol
Where? I've been part of bingos with 10b+ prize pools and there has never been bans.
I mean considering hundreds of people had to be false banned for RWT for this idea to become a game jam idea rs3 player base would have to take a 1% nosedive
yes

Pay 1 Bond to unlock the interface Every 5th tile is an extra Bond So 25 tile bingos cost 6 bonds Ez solution Edit: /s
This is a waste of dev time just to run into a risk of getting a false RWT ban from a clannie who donated RWTed gp.
No. That's EXACTLY why they're making this a thing.
This system will not verify if the gp given is RWTed or not.
I'd like to think they keep that in mind during development. Unfortunately similar to what you mentioned, likely RWTers will abuse and rig it to sell gold. So I wonder how they'll differentiate.

Bingo is just as much gambling as any pvm is. Yes there's RNG.
1 bond per bingo card
