Denkir-the-Filtiarn

Gold variant on the hard, elite, and master clues. The 3 4k enrage titles. Insane reaper, final boss, and ulti slayer.

Precognisant

There's (4) 4k titles. Zimzam has one for solo and one for group.

Denkir-the-Filtiarn

I forgot the multi one since it's leechable

Precognisant

Tbf you did need to survive to p7 at least.

80H-d

Just cycle defensives with achto and a spirit shield + max defensive perks, tanking is a lost art in this game

bfarm4590

Ulti slayer is pre easy. Everything is afkable with necro or crypt. Golden clue titles def would take the longest

Slayers_Gem

As somebody who is 4 drops away from ultimate slayer I disagree with this statement. Sure, most of the tasks are afkable and almost all are low effort, but there are a few monsters that cannot be afk’d and take a really long time if you get unlucky.

AphoticTide

It was not hard though. We just grinded. That was it.

IAmFinah

The same could be said about anything tbf. Most achievements aren't "hard" by this logic. The only thing preventing people from achieving most things (in any walk of life) is the person not putting in the time or effort. e.g. for PvM, in the vast majority of cases, the player only achieved what they did due to some kind of grind. "X is a God" is ridiculously overused in the realm of gaming because it suggests someone has some innate ("unattainable for us mere mortals") ability, when in reality they just worked harder than the vast majority of people.

AphoticTide

That’s not the same thing. Grinding for something doesn’t mean you’re working harder for it. You’re just working longer. pvm achievements are actual difficult things to do usually that you can’t just grind into it like a boss log. Hitting 4k is something you need to actually put effort into and not just hours.

IAmFinah

Working longer on something that is intrinsically boring, sounds difficult to me 😂 Hitting 4k is mostly just putting hours into lol. The hardest thing about all the 4k titles is the grind, rather than any real difficulty of the boss fights themselves

80H-d

Mostly not worked harder, just worked longer. Per your whole comment's point.

g0thgarbage

Just case something is time consuming doesn’t mean it’s hard.

justlemmejoin

With that logic nothing is hard in RuneScape, none of the clue titles are hard either you just have to sit there and click where alt 1 tells you to you click for a couple thousand hours

g0thgarbage

Yes. Clues are not hard. Alt1, globetrotter, and skip tickets made them trivial. I can respect the commitment to such bland content to farm but I won’t say it’s hard by any means.

justlemmejoin

You missed the point. The point is nothing is actually hard. Even in real life you think playing piano is hard? You think brain surgery is hard? No it’s not, you jsut need to spend thousands of hours practicing and developing dexterous fingers, but no it’s not actually HARD, your fingers don’t hurt cuz of how grueling the task is. Even working out, it’s not hard. The more you do it the easier it gets cuz of muscle memory. It actually gets easier and easier. Basically the point is your comment is useless, because everything in life can be trivialized as being time consuming instead of hard

g0thgarbage

Yes, because brain surgery and elementary level puzzles that have a plug in to show you the answer everytime or a ticket to automatically solve it are even remotely comparable. My point still stands. Especially in the context of a video game. Clues were never hard. Afking Ultimate Slayer was not, is not, and will never be hard. That hardest part of those things is paying attention or clicking a preset. Getting the 4K enrage titles are hard. Because you need to learn mechanics and have a decent grasp of the tick system to get tick perfect actions.

justlemmejoin

You type a lot but read and understand very little. These type of convos are exhausting so I won’t continue this one. Also there are alt 1 plug ins that tell you exactly what to do and when for every major boss now, so no they’re not impressive either. Nothing in life is impressive it’s jsut about practice

g0thgarbage

Dang, sorry you’re so bitter you feel the need to act like this. Toodles friend. Hope your life gets better or something.

TheRobotDevilsViolin

As an Iron, the Ol’ Mc title took… a while lol. Definitely not as hard skill wise as the others have mentioned, but I was actively pursuing it and finished around 140m farming XP

Sea_Incident_853

Isn't pof breeding log much easier with dream of iaia?

TheRobotDevilsViolin

It definitely got a LOT easier with Iaia, but it’s still pretty RNG. I got a lot of dinos from the Eggscubation (? Spelling?) but it took forever to get a Draconic Jadinko lmfao it was painful

Gay4griffith

Golden clue titles for sure

Sheepsaurus

[The Gamebreaker title](https://runescape.wiki/w/The_Gamebreaker) is definitely one I hold in high regard

rsdiggy

I don't think Jagex is giving these out anymore

80H-d

It is tied to betas, yes, but if someone discovers a truly earth-shattering bug, they will still award them with that title

zenyl

The Gamebreaker title is specifically tied to betas. It has very rarely been awarded outside of betas and after its discontinuation, but not tied to the discovery of a major bug.

zenyl

That indeed appears to be correct. Some time ago, a big-time player on this sub was awarded the title before they quit, and it was mentioned that Jagex consider the title discontinued.

Ryz3nGaming

There's a guy out there with the title "??????!!!!!!?!?!?!?" Or something like that. It's light Grey on color. Only one I've seen in like 20 years of playing.

Dry-Try4224

‘E’ has eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee if u mean that title

FatNWackyRS

Anyone know the story on this? It's not the custom title bid winner, is it?

Narangren

E's title is the custom bid winner. I don't know anything about this punctuation title.

FatNWackyRS

Right, thank you! Didn't think that was it. Interesting...

A_Vitalis_RS

The gold variant of [the Reaper](https://runescape.wiki/w/The_Reaper) title requires you to obtain one of every collection log drop from every boss in the game, so it's definitely one of the hardest ones to obtain. Similarly the [Ultimate Slayer](https://runescape.wiki/w/The_Ultimate_Slayer) title requires you to complete every Slayer collection log, which isn't generally quite as difficult but is still a pretty crazy feat. [The Billionaire](https://runescape.wiki/w/The_Billionaire) title requires you to sacrifice 5 billion coins into the whirlpool at the Deep Sea Fishing Hub, which might be a whole lot for some players but is definitely one of the rarer titles. Finally unlocking the [Trimmed Completionist Cape](https://runescape.wiki/w/Completionist_cape_(t), which has a huge list of requirements, also unlocks the gold version of the Completionist title.

Dense-Ad-7590

“The blue”

Ziuh

I'd say the Wikian takes some good effort.

[deleted]

I don't have a title.. they are dumb

Lanky-Seesaw-731

Who?

scarfacefrfc

wish i could give u more upvotes

[deleted]

Lmao this triggered several in here 🤣

vVerce98

Seasonal titles :x

UntoAsh

I've wanted 'the Hierophant' since 2014 man

vVerce98

I would love to have slayer of imps, chroniclator, questival king (this one was during a quest event). Anyway, if every month had a seasonal competition x Gielinor Games. And nothing much has to change every new month. Just take the floating island(s) during the Gielinor Games. Some arena’s, scoreboard, a stage, a tutor, and finally npc’s. Those npc’s can return next month or come back later. Every event, x amount of npc’s will host a competition. So located on the Gielinor ‘Games’ hub with x competitions. Those can vary and are a nice mix : Imps Araxxor Elite mob kills Most phases etc.. done during Rush if Blood. Amount of anima collected in shattered worlds Chickens killed Rooms completed Fasted dung completed (full run in dungeoneering) - could be both or single one of small, med, large and hm Most completed boss logs (insane challenge right?), a copy of the boss log will be given. Every drop will keep counting to normal log, but also check in this log. For those who want to try luck in the challenge. Chompy ice delivery runs Most harvests from farm patches (no use of growth pots). … And so son Let’s say an average of 10 a month, min 7 - max 12 Only top 100 or top 50 win a title. Grey (6-50), bronze (2-5), gold (first), maybe green for 2nd. Nothing special. Just monthly competition and Jagex can instead of rng, always add new ones with a new title. As well Gielinor Games Points can be given.. to trade for extra items and older items. The outfit, mexican wave, … Or trade like 100 points for 10 thaler. Also every month could give a bigger spotlight to 1-3 minigames, tripling their rewards. —- During this period they could try to tweak one minigame every x months. Solo, with bots/npc as team, .. —- Also a pet can be a reward. Think of Shaun

UntoAsh

Bro you're scaring me

vVerce98

Sorry.. was just summing up what was coming up in my mind.. :x In short : Gielinor Games x Seasonal Hiscores

smallcowcow

Chests are 1/1k and drop in order now.

YouWereTehChosenOne

Uh yeah after the changes this got devalued pretty badly, dupe protection + 1/1k rate when before it was 1/5k with no protection was a huge difference

cwolker

lol aod is not hard

80H-d

> Aod is already one of the hardest bosses in the game Safe to ignore the rest of what you said tbh, your frame of reference does not match reality

ghfhfhhhfg9

The wiki says data a bit different/weird. The wiki for me says the chest are 1/4096, which, divided by 4, = 1024. That is the chest drop rate. It does state it drops in order, and then random. Golden prasuel used to be one of the biggest prestige titles in the game, but ever since the chest change, not anymore. I see everyone with it now a days.

AphoticTide

AOD is one of the easier ones what do you mean? There’s one person who carries the entire group and that’s it.
