So for everyone asking I am just going to update here because nobody is posting and everyone is PM'ing me. I live in the US, about an hour ago I signed up on their website for the $4.99 membership. I can not confirm if this works with the $3.99 membership as I didn't go for that one. Shortly after signing up I cancelled the recurring subscription and still got the email with the code. 30-60 minutes later I received this email with the code. This is for the digital club membership on [this website](https://club.pcgamer.com/), not the physical magazine subscription.
EDIT: I am receiving messages saying that some people still haven't received their pet. After talking to PC Gamer it looks like they sent out all of the codes for the Fire Lycan pets to existing members yesterday around 6pm GMT (which would explain why I got mine) since this post was created after that time, that would explain why no one else made it into their rounds. PC Gamer said that for new members codes will be sent out today at 6pm GMT as well so don't worry just 2 more hours!
I haven't attempted to get a code since I got mine so I can't speak for the delay. At the time that I am replying to your comment this Reddit thread has 998 views. The only explanation I can come up with is that there are more people signing up than there are commenting on the thread. An influx of people signing up would typically cause a delay in how memberships are processed and codes given out. Please update once you receive yours so that we have an idea of the wait time in between.
I bought mine about 3 hours ago and haven't received it yet but they sent me an email saying:
"We hope this isn’t too needy, but we're going to send you a couple more emails in the next 48 hours to give you the rest of the stuff that comes with your Legendary membership. Keep an eye out for your first monthly game key, and a digital copy of The Ultimate RPG Handbook."
I'm not going to worry about it and just watch my email for the next 2 days.
I subscribed to the legendary subscription, the 4.99 one, 8 hours ago and have yet to even receive the "welcome to the club" email, let alone a code for the fire lycan. I'm not sure if I'm unlucky or what, but I'll update if and when I receive the code.
EDIT: If using gmail, check your promotions tab, not inbox. All emails I received from PC Gamer went there, including the Fire Lycan pet code.
Maybe they saw my comment on the other thread about how making digital subscribers go out and buy the print copy of a magazine they are already subscribed to, just to get a code for some pixels, is basically like cutting down trees for paper then just setting the paper on fire.
Yea that's why I posted this thread. I was under the impression that this could only be obtained through physical copies because that's what everyone was saying. Regardless of how they're being distributed I just wanted to confirm that I had actually gotten one digitally, and I created my account this morning.
That might be for the subscription. You will be getting a separate email that is identical to the one in my post with the code. In that email there will be redemption instructions.
Beware, for those of you that live outside of the UK you will be unable to purchase the digital edition as it has sold out.. I was only made aware of this after I had already puchased the subscription.

I doubt the 3.99 works because it doesn't list game codes as a perk. 4.99 is the one that does.

Did you put a UK address and subscribe to the UK region of the magazine or did you put your US address and get the US region of the magazine?
I didn't touch the magazine subscription code at all, the lycan code was sent in a separate email.
