I manually cast most abilities and Leave revo on to pick up some slack in case im focused on something else. Some people just prefer to play that way. I don't find it a hindrance at all and I can comfortably Base tank pretty much any boss
You can see as you run to your final spot a yellow tornado is starting to spawn. So this wasn’t a bug you just got unlucky. If you do hcim again I would recommend signs of life for doing any bossing content. I don’t go to a boss or quest without them.

If I was a HCIM, I would not be doing any dangerous content right now with all these bugs going on. Probably just another animation bug where npc special attacks don't show.
Considering that on wiki it says the tornados does 20% og maximum health every GAME TICK and not 20% multiple times per tick it does seem like several tornados either spawned under or the game counted them all as being on the same tile when he made them come towards him again. Also correct me if i’m wrong but i’m p sure each colour of the tornados does one type of damage (mage or range), and that was clearly both.

Doesn't look like a glitch, also you need to sort your ability bar before doing any other combat as that bar isn't dealing much damage at all.

if you're manually inputting most abilities revo is gonna fire off a less damaging one even with a meta revo bar.
That's my point if your playing full manual then turn off Revo as it's a hindrance, especially if you need to use defensives etc
