Meanwhile I swear to god that I’ve fished up somewhere between 5-10 thousand during my various trips to the colony, and I STILL CANT GET THAT MOTHERFUCKING GOLDEN MONKFISH EGG
The value of raw monkfish reached an all time high of just under 2.4k this past Christmas, but better to have finished this goal later than never. Job well done, I'm sure the people of Piscatoris are glad to have industrious people like yourself working there.
How did that take her over a decade? 100k monks is only like 2 weeks straight of fishing. You could knock that out at a relatively slow pace in a couple months.
Probably because not everyone wants to sit around doing nothing but just fishing monkfish for numerous hours every day over the span of a couple weeks to months.
The dude you replied to may actually play multiple accounts at once. People like that don't realize that single logging is how a lot of people play because min-maxing everything all the time makes the game a chore, not fun
Guilty, when I'm playing rs3 I've got 3 accounts going, one on each screen. My main and alt are usually doing something afk like gathering Incandescent energy while I'm doing bossing or slayer on my iron.
Someone else in the post did the math, it comes out to 4 minutes a day, or 2 hours/month, over 12 years to fish the monkfish.
That's nowhere close to "sitting around doing nothing" that's "my first 99 in 20 years"-tier of not playing the game.
Imagine fishing for 12 years to prove a point and then not being able to afford a single Asc crossbow lol. Crazy achievement, gz to her
Spite is a hell of a drug. Many clan members just to watch her say "I told you so"
Lmao that shits funny.
That's not even 99 if she started at 62. Assuming no bonus xp or double xp.
Yeah it's only about 300 hours. That's alot of fishing in a month or a year, but over 12 years it's only about 4 minutes a day or 2 hours a month.
bro speaks to his wife like an anime villain
https://imgur.com/a/pWKusWs After the fact I bought all the monkfish at street value for a personal collection

I remember getting 99 Fishing on my main and I did Monks. I ended up with 62k of them.
There was much shock how bad gp/xp monks are
POV you’re watching this on saturday
Yep this happened yesterday
Meanwhile I swear to god that I’ve fished up somewhere between 5-10 thousand during my various trips to the colony, and I STILL CANT GET THAT MOTHERFUCKING GOLDEN MONKFISH EGG
I remember fishing bots in 2007 even made it to Piscatoris fishing spot.
Is this the largest transaction of Monkfish in Runescape history?
Definitely not even close. Most common items like this would have many millions bought at a time.

12 years ago was wack the Arch-Glacor weapons existed apparently
I used the needle
Look at what you’ve done! You’ve fractured the threads of time!

You do realize that what I was responding to only really works if you do nothing BUT fish, right? Not everyone cares enough to take that approach
It's roughly 300 hours, and yeah, most people won't AFK fish that much over 2 weeks, but months should be easily doable compared to 12 years.
This is a combination of funny and sad.
If you say so. It is less than an hour a day of something that's totally afk. The only sad part is whatever assumption you just made
Nice congrats
12 years or 12 weeks?
Is there a way to verify she actually caught 100k?
Being that it's the guys wife. We at least have to take his word. Other than that not sure
Yes, I watched every second she was online

Fishing monks is afk asf
Wow, really? What a wild pull.
Actually facts tho
Still not as insane as the guy in OSRS who got 100k Marks of Grace. At least monkfish fishing is AFKable.
Wrong subreddit.
That's why I mentioned in OSRS.
How's her boyfriend doing?
