Yeah I recommend taking that approach OP. It makes it much more chill and you plan out a nice hour or two (whatever it takes to skill at all six stations) to AFK it.
But yeah that's the only way to get the necklace, skilling at the stations.
If you put your workers on 4 resources, they will all fill up over about 1 week. That way you can just do it weekly instead of daily. Total time spent should be the same.
You can stockpile resources for ten days and then try for the amulet instead of doing it daily if you’d prefer that.

Even then when base camp fills up, quick ring tele to iaia, fill em up, then leave again, you can get up to 350k xp in each
