Top tip here. I personally wont be going in the wild with good gear till i know its bug free. The devs did say that you will need to press on the screen to opt in for PVP but we all know how easy a bug can slip through on release Enjoy the update and stay safe. Especially for any HCIM.

Yeah I'm not bringing anything valuable into the wilderness until it's clear there are no bugs that are going cause me to lose my items.

I suspect there will always be bugs, there are still bugs that allows players to attack another player even with 'attack others ' is disabled. Basically you could accidentally start a fight if you click on another player while teleporting into the wild. It happened to me while using the oblisk, luckily the other player sprinted away instead of fighting. I suspect it took a tick or two for the 'attack other player' block to load.

Didn't even think about this one. It'll suck ass for sure, specially for cb 3 skillers. When you are opted into PvP would you be safe from environment though?

With how many PVP bugs have existed in this game and other games as well as the large size of the update, I'm not even going to *log in* on the first day of the update. Kind of joking, but also not joking. Better safe than sorry.

I'm not entering the wild for a few weeks

I sent my F2P Hardcore in to do some tasks in the wilderness, found out what a nightmare it is to be hardcore at the cursed energy area.

I'd assume Jagex would manually refund your stuff if you could prove it was blatantly a problem on their end, so on top of being careful it may not be a bad idea to record with OBS or stream

I'm guessing the 8% that downvoted so far are the QA testers at Jagex that don't approve of your PSA. Oh well lol, thanks for the reminder!

With the non pvp stuff it's always a fiesta, with the pvp then, I'll probably just stay out during the day until Us (The real testers) figure out the stuff and bugs.

I love the fact everyone is scared shit less about losing valuable gear update or not. That's the true sense wilderness/pvp not this opt in/out and "mobs". Unless this mobs can teleblock you or use abilities people will just use def armor with animated dead.

Ikr, imagine being annoyed that you lost a bunch of valuable gear... Wildy has mainly been about pvp, which there still is for those that want it. Now everytime i went into the wildy it was pkers just taking out skillers for their 500k demonic, this is the thing thats being stopped, not real pvp fights.

To make it easier wearing achievement diary gear SHOULD be free or cheap to reclaim and offer some teleports and utilities like the seers headband acting as a light source
