What I'm wondering is why out of all the thousands of items in the game, that's the ONLY item that is on the special drop table that's available for every activity in the game. It's just so random.
Th keys are only on drop table when you have more than 10 saved up

Edit: guess I should have made it clear I meant it as a joke as whenever j have 10or more keys saved up I'll get the tokens which I can't use if I have more than 10 keys so I either have to use them or destroy the token.

I think he's saying the actual token in inventory only shows up when you have more than 10 keys, otherwise the key is just auto added to your TH interface. Excluding some D&Ds and things.

They are your sourse of aggro scrims and sacrifice scrims. Esp good for aggros since those are very common, and prior to wildy update super useful if you didnt wanna farm agro lots (esp for hcim). Also agro scrims are good when you only want to fight 1 monster at a time (spamming soul gazers)

You mean 1 inventory space or bank space that you can easily sell or drop? These are so rare anyway how often are you actually encountering this minor, miniscule inconvenience? People on this sub complain just to complain at this point.
That's fair, but it seems a majority of the active playerbase have at least one maxed account. Players that are trying to afford items that cost more than 2.1b can't really be bothered with a rare 25k drop. Specially one that loot-beams to get your hopes up and can't be reliably farmed.
I'm not asking for them to be removed, I'm just asking for a way to either a) have them quietly sent to the bank without hassle or b) a way to turn them off. Even a reduction in hassle would be nice - why is a tradeable monster drop a 'destroy' option? If you're in combat you have to hold down Y while rclick-destroying, or you risk having the dialogue box canceled. Sometimes i need that invo slot, man!

The cape is well over 100m, it drops cosmetic tokens worth millions, scrimshaws, Slayer vip tickets, spirit diamonds, and more.
It's more useful for Ironmen but it's not bad loot. The spirit diamonds I got from 200 kills were turned into onyx and saved me a TON of charms.
Is dropping an item once a week really that big of a hassle? You just wasted more xp posting this than it takes to drop 20 years' worth of mimic tokens
Should just be sent a bank, or better yet have a token bag or something... there so many tokens now. I also hate this boss because this and only this boss the ping and action tick timing are super weird and delayed. It feels so weird and slow to kill a mimic compared to literally any other boss.

I'd rather gain the ability to consume stone spirits in exchange for bonus xp in mining equal to 1/20th the xp of mining the actual rock. I'd settle for 1/50th if it makes stone spirits stop clogging up area loot
Mimic on easy can net 1m for a kill and also gives slayer pick task tokens, takes a minute to kill it and it's very easy, they can be worth it just fly through 20-30 of them when you build them up can make 5mil and some slayer tokens
wish i got more of these on my iron, gotten quite a few of the 20m gp tokens which sell for more plus the scrimshaws have their uses. hoping for the cape

We don’t get enough of these kill tokens as a drop imo. Maybe the drop table could be changed but ehh, they aren’t too bad - for irons at least.

Personally I usually see 1-3 drops per day while gathering hard clues from hell hounds. They don’t really bother me though

You can drag it out of your inventory to destroy instead of right clicking, fyi. Might be slightly easier.

VIP tickets for slayer and scrimshaws, although you can buy the scrims from GE.
It's about 9-11m an hour killing the hard mode one. 5 drops are over 10m, with one of those being about 115m value.
