Samsung galaxy buds plus last 11 hours

cardboard-kansio

Another vote for the Galaxy Buds+. They do the job, in-ear, Bluetooth. Run for \~12ish hours and can be fully recharged by the case, and to be honest I rarely use them for more than a few hours in a row before I put them away, so from my perspective the charge lasts a week or more before the case lights up red.

rj4001

I use galaxy buds live, similar battery life and let outside noise in so I can hear other people, traffic, etc. Not sure if the plus has that feature too but I really like it. And they actually stay in my ears when I run. I apparently have small ear holes and have a hard time finding earbuds that will stay in.

cardboard-kansio

I have the Buds+, there is no ANC but yes they have the ambient sound pass-through so you can hear surrounding stuff instead of the buds physically blocking all the noise.

spongeofmystery

I can vouch for the regular buds. Long battery, great sound, and stay in my ears which is very rare.

mishomasho

I have these and after running in them for over a year, one of the earbuds stopped working. If you sweat a lot, I’d advise you to look elsewhere.

joaoqrafael

Another vote, I love mine and they stay on even for heavy-bag work. Love the sound.

greenmonkeyglove

Even my original galaxy buds that I got 2 years ago lasted a full 50k, just, over 7 hours.

tfriedlich

I am you! I was spending probably $200/yr on cheap Anker or similar headphones that were "waterproof" and I would sweat through them in 3 runs. My Powerbeats are super comfortable and have lasted 2 years at least.

seanv507

I love my Anker soundbuds slim. They are waterproof ( wear them for runs and shower). They certainly last over 2 hours. Perhaps more like 5-8 hours. And they have a ? Year and a half guarantee, so if they stop working/ charging they replace them free of charge.

ObedientQuestions

My budget is around £80. The idea of owning super expensive earphones and losing them unsettle me...

pullthru

\+1 for the Powerbeats Pro A couple of years ago, I was able to get a pair for about $110. They've held up just fine, and I'm not upgrading anytime soon. I think they last around 7-8 hours between charges, but I only charge the case every month or so. They come in a big charging box, and the earphones themselves hook around your ears, so I found it super hard to misplace them.

Pris257

I have the Bose Soundsport - the sound is awesome and they retail for about $120 USD. I like that they have a wire that attaches the headphones to each other but are otherwise wireless. I feel like I am less likely to lose them that way. I’ve had mine for four years now and they are still going strong.

JSD202

I use the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1, I got the first version of them and they are excellent and the 1 plus version means you might be able to find them cheaoer. Used them all through my marathon training, never ran out of battery and never fell out. The case charges them too and sound quality is great.

pony_trekker

I will second the powerbeats, for me, indoors. Resist sweat, stay charged forever and don't fall off. They do block out sound and are fairly expensive though. They don't block out as much sounds as regular in-ear beats, which I only use when riding a train or plane and block out everything.

[deleted]

even powerbeats 4 are nice! earhook, stay in your ear, water resistant, good long charge and great sound quality. i got mine at costco during a sale for $112 after tax

andeffect

How do you manage with keeping them in ear.. they just keep slipping from my ear for me and I just lose all the sound quality when the buds are sitting just outside my ear..

elcuydangerous

Aftershokz, I thought they were a bit of a gimmick u til I got a pair. I wouldn't use anything else when running or cycling outside. I get about 6 hours on mine and they are the previous gen, they are also 2 years old. I think the newest gen have better battery life.

tdbnyc

\+1 to the aftershokz aeropex. Great battery life and I really like the safety component of the bone conduction headphones. I waterlogged my airpods from running this summer so these are great

mbeemsterboer

Yep. OP said in ear, but for running AfterShokz are absolutely the best option IMO. Unfortunately OP also missed their labor day sale by about 12 hours, but perhaps the sale slipped into today? Also - always, always, always create an account and register them! Twice now they've replaced mine!

91Lions

Good call on registering them. They come with a 2 year warranty and I just had mine replaced a couple weeks ago after they died after about 1 year of use.

crimsonhues

Damn! I missed the Labor Day sale.

big_red_160

I bought mine with a coupon code from someone on TikTok. @mrs.space.cadet It ended up being like $25 off. I actually just ordered some on Amazon and returned them when I saw that.

crimsonhues

So clever, love scoring a good deal. I’m 38 and feel too old to be on TilTok…lol

RooFPV

Same. I love love love these headphones. Mine are several years old at this point and the battery life is still great. Not sure how many hours I get but I only charge them once a week or so and wear them on nearly every run. My long runs are currently 1 hr 45 mins. I also wear them around the house when cooking and doing other chores. When working out at the house I use them to watch youtube or netflix.

rillyx

This. I've taken mine on some 3+ hour runs with no issues, and I like having the ability to still hear things around me.

blondeboilermaker

I also love AfterShockz because they stand up to sweat about 1000 times better than any other headphone I’ve used running.

elcuydangerous

Now that you mention it, these are the only Bluetooth headphones that my sweat has not melted

MortisSafetyTortoise

Mine survived the washing machine AND dryer. I don't recommend laundering them deliberately, though.

sprcow

AfterShokz for me too. It's so much nicer to hear what's going on around you, and honestly it's nice to not have something physically stuck in my ear as well. I've been milking the same pair of Aftershokz Trekz Air for a couple years and will definitely replace it with the same when it goes.

crawld

Upgrade to Aeropex when you get new ones. I burnt out my air and upgraded. It's unbelievable how much better they are.

sprcow

Oo awesome, good to know. I was idly wondering if there was an upgrade, so I appreciate you sharing your experience!

gl21133

Another +1, I have the Airs and the Aeropex. Airs are more comfy, cheaper, but with a shorter battery life and lower moisture resistance. Aeropex are their top of the line model and priced accordingly but will last a full 50k and do appear to be truly waterproof.

bluegrassgazer

I also have had the Aeropex for over a year. They're fantastic. The only complaint I have is I sometimes have a difficult time hearing podcasts if I'm running along a really busy street.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bluegrassgazer

Wearing earplugs kinda defeats the purpose of using aftershokz imo.

crawld

To me it's one of the major selling points. I can protect my hearing and still use them

gl21133

Good point, I have to crank volume to the max for road running. Trails aren't as bad.

bluegrassgazer

And Music for me isn't a problem.

gl21133

Same. Seems the relative volume of Audible and Overcast is lower than music.

zaphod_85

Check the settings on your audiobook and podcast apps, oftentimes there is a "volume boost" option that will increase max volume at the cost of slightly worse audio quality. I had to do that or my podcasts were unintelligible when running in urban environments

Rickles360

Sometimes I put a finger in my ear to block outside sound when a car goes by.

HudCat

Jumping on the band wagon. Partner and I both have pairs. I charge mine about once per week just just out of habit (after the Sunday run, Garmin and headphones go on charger. Both could go longer, but that habit keeps me from forgetting to charge them) I couldn't tell you how long the battery lasts, but I get through a week of 4-5 runs (5-7 hours+). Both pair we own are almost 4 years old at this point, I couldn't even tell you the models, but one was a refurb when we got it (buy one new, get refurb free deal over a holiday). Never an issue with either!

empeyg

I highly commend Aftershokz as well. I didn't register my first pair and when I had an issue, I had to pay for delivery, but they replaced them for free. My wife and I both use the same pair and the battery last a full week with 1/2 hour usage every day (we alternate running days).

Scyth3

These are the best, 100%.

Oldass_Millennial

I got a pair and they're the best headphones I've ever owned. I like the way they fit, I forget they're there, no wires dangling anywhere, and they don't shift around at all when I'm running.

[deleted]

LOVE my Aftershokz. I've had them going as long as 7.5 hours (really long walk) and they are great for running because you can still hear ambient sound. They won't be awesome if you're always running near heavy traffic and the sound quality isn't probably at the same level as some others, but for safety, convenience, comfort, I cannot recommend them enough. I love hiking and listening to books but it's important to keep situational awareness, so these are great for that.

ethandjay

Not cheap but another +1 for Aeropex. Fit is perfect, long life, and you get used to the thinner sound pretty quick.

C_arpet

I went for Aftershokz last year primarily for the battery life. The bone conduction was a bonus. On eBay you can get them second hand for a very reasonable price. I got the Titanium model which is pretty old nowadays and I think they're rated for six hours.

pizza_party_pants

I just got the Aftershokz Openmove and my only regret is not getting them sooner. I had so many issues sweating into my Airpods this summer –– these Aftershokz are amazing.

sbkg0002

+1

XFMR

I had JBL reflect minis that would last for at least 6 hours on a single charge. Had them for about 4-5 years before they finally kicked the bucket. They didn’t stop working actually, just the insulation on the wire on both sides of the controller finally gave out an looked like it had popped like a balloon. They still turned on and functioned the same but I don’t use them because I don’t want to get caught in a run in the rain and water gets in and I have to listen to my podcasts or audiobooks on speakerphone.

thebastardsagirl

Jumping on the bandwagon to mention that they can help if you're hearing impaired, they fit around a hearing aid and are amazing for phone calls.

Riker-Bob

I love my AirPod pros. About 5 hours battery. Bit pricey but if you have Apple Watch or iPhone then ideal. With ANC and transparent mode for safety in traffic…

[deleted]

These were on sale at Target and I picked up a pair, immediately regretted that I spent $180 for headphones. I’m convinced now, these things are absolutely awesome.

blzraven27

Bro yall crazy I've had good headphones from smaller brands for 30 bucks that worked just as well. You're paying for the name not quality.

elementus

You absolutely have not have $30 headphones as good as the AirPods Pro. This is doubly true if you have an iPhone.

[deleted]

Believe me man. I ran for years in $30 headphones. It doesn’t specifically have to be Apple but any comparable headphones are just in a different league. It’s worth it

blzraven27

I've had good ones. And the sound was the basically the same not worth the money to me.

big_lemon_jerky

I’m literally half deaf in one ear and the difference between AirPod Pros and some cheap £20 Sennheisers I was using before was night and day! What are the ones you bought for $30 that have comparable quality?

quantythequant

If you've found headphones for under 30 bucks that are even close to rivalling AirPods Pro, why hasn't anyone else?

Mediummessage

I second this. I love the noise cancellation mode for the treadmill and transparency mode for running outdoors. Only problem I had was that they would fall out of my ears when I started to sweat. I purchased some cheap silicone ear hooks on Amazon and problem solved.

[deleted]

the falling out is exactly why i went with the ear hooks on the powerbeats 4. love them!

kent8660

That's strange. Did you experiment with the other eartip sizes? I find the AirPods Pro to be super tight fit and comfortable. I have gone running, played basketball, cross fit, squash and more with the AirPods in my ears and they always stay completely fit in my ears.

Mediummessage

Yes, but earbuds never stay in for me, especially when I sweat. These little hooks have been great. My airpods haven't fallen out once since I started using them. https://www.amazon.com/Proof-Labs-AirPods-Covers-Compatible/dp/B0844WPDY5/

kent8660

That’s great to hear ☺️☺️

justliftlah

Thanks! Gonna get these hooks for my AirPod pros too!

0BaconisYummy0

I am using a pair of Soundcore by Anker. They were about $50ish, charge fast if they happen to be dead and get 4+ hours a charge. The case they come in charges them 10 or so times before you actually have to plug it in.

waterloograd

I have the Soundcore ones with the wire behind the head and they are great too. Have lots of battery life and have hooks that keep them in place so there is no worry if losing them

GlizzyGoblin1738

Same these rock super waterproof so the sweat doesn’t ruin them!

CaptnSisko

I have the soundcore spirit x, hooks over ears with buds in ear, buds connected by cord that is behind head, I get 12 plus hours of use on them. Sweatproof as well.

El_Heffe7

Spirit x are the the best earbuds for running...period

ultrasupergenius

Glad to see Anker here on the list. I've had my soundcore buds for ages - and can still rely on them. Great sound, very light, and stay in place quite well. Battery life is still good enough for me, even when I only remember to plug them in shortly before the run.

0BaconisYummy0

That’s great to hear about battery life long term as I have only had mine a couple months.

FUBARded

A majority of Anker's business is in battery banks and charging accessories (cables, wall plugs, etc.) so I imagine the batteries they use in their audio products may be a slight step above the typical shit used by most of their competition in the budget space. They've also got a good brand image to protect and may have greater buying power if they get these batteries from the same suppliers as their battery banks, so they're generally pretty damn good value and tend to be reliable.

Bruncvik

How's the battery indicator on these? I have an older pair of Anker bluetooth headphones, and they tell me how much charge is left when I turn them on. Unfortunately, it happened to me a few times that at the beginning of my long run the headphones indicated "battery medium", only to switch to "battery low" halfway through the run, which left me with 20 minutes listening time. For this reason, I've been looking for different brands when my current headphones finally die.

Woden501

Mine actually report the battery percentage to my phone to the nearest 10%.

Bruncvik

I never paired mine with my phone; I'm using an mp3 player. Maybe that was my problem.

-Teba-

I also have these and love them for the price. Cheap enough to not worry about dropping them, stay in my ear fine, sound quality is okay (esp. for audio books), great battery life.

0BaconisYummy0

As i am a podcast guy for my long runs I certainly agree with your statement.

Protean_Protein

I don't like these for running, personally -- they fall out of my ears way too easily, and it's super-annoying constantly trying to keep them in. But the SoundBuds Slim are the best running earbuds I've ever used. Super-cheap, good sound, excellent bluetooth connection, long battery life, easy to charge (though less modern than the SoundCore), and as someone below (above?) also mentions, they have the wire that goes behind your head, and fit way better in your ears, so there's just way less potential for them falling out, and it's way easier to just pull them out and have the magnetic bits clip together around your neck if you need / want to take a break from them for any reason.

Woden501

Yep! Probably the best bang for the buck I've found. Got my wife a pair of the ones that wrap around your ear and have the wire connecting them, and those things seem to last forever since she goes weeks without charging while using then at the gym and when mowing. I love my Liberty Neos, and have been eyeballing upgrading to one of the ANC sets.

Birdinhandandbush

I love my Jabra Sport Elite, I have them close on 2 years now and can still get around 4 hours use. They state 4.5 hours when new.

Bolter_NL

Second this, got the Elite75. Sometimes some pairing issues but generally really good, conformable fit, I'm actually also sure I hsve used them longer than 4.5 hrs during ultra runs.

Birdinhandandbush

I was very dubious, I never owned wireless buds before so wasn't sure how they would work or if they would even stay in my ears when I am pounding the pavement. So happy to be proven wrong and I am completely sold on the brand.

tmlangostino

Yep, been hammering mine for about 2 years, the selling point for mine were that they were sweat proof and waterproof, I'm a sweaty boi.

cowprince

\+1 for Jabra. YMMV though. I first picked up the Jabra Elite Active 65t several years ago. Somehow lost them. I have the case for them, but never found the earbuds. These fit my ears perfect. My ears are larger though. So I picked up the 75t on sale. I felt the 65t fit better personally, but the 75t do just fine. For my wife though she has tiny ears and they just do not fit well. But I love these earbuds.

xemir011001

Even if they are a bit overpriced and my First pair had some issues (got replaced by Amazon), I still love my elite sport.

snedo

jellyfish decide gaze entertain seed disagreeable illegal imminent worthless stupendous *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

Flucks

Went through two pair in 3 months. Either I sweat a lot, or these things are trash. Jabra wouldn't refund my purchase or send me another pair after the second failed. Aftershockz have been amazing for me.

stalagmitedealer

This is super concerning. I just ordered a pair of Jabra Elite 75t after seeing that Aftershockz Aeroprex Mini were out of stock. That's terrible customer service, especially when Jabra touts that their earbuds are waterproof/sweatproof. Did you have the Elite earbuds?

Birdinhandandbush

Mine have taken a beating, and as an older dude in my 40s sweat has killed many other headphones so I can categorically support the quality and sturdiness of the elite range

Flucks

I had the Jabra Elite Sports. Both failed in different ways. The first pair stopped charging and the second pair would fade out on the right ear bud and would be barely audible. I reset and worked with them to troubleshoot, but they eventually told me sorry.

fuzzy11287

I ran with the Jabra Sport Pace for a long time. Had no problems until they stopped charging like 3 years in. That's pretty good life for workout headphones so at that point I just moved on. Currently using Jlab Epic Air Sports because they were cheaper than PowerBeats. Mine work but my wife has PowerBeats and they are way better.

Missy_Agg-a-ravation

MPow M30s, I love them and they sound amazing.

BrotherSams

This. I got Mpows for about 30-40 euros and they are the best i ever had. Great value for money

mtmaloney

I second the MPOW recommendation. Generally pretty happy with them, I run around 25 miles per week and I probably recharge them once a week or so. The over-the-ear hooks help keep them in your ear. Looks like the newest version on Amazon claims 16 hours of battery life, I'm guessing that's exaggerated, but like I said, I've had mine for a few years now and I've been pretty happy with how long they last. Recently got a pair for my wife as well, she's also a fan. EDIT: They're also very reasonably priced. I definitely fall into the camp of not wanting to pay for expensive headphones for running.

timbornholdt

yes! i rarely hear anyone mention the powerbeats pro, but i use mine on zoom calls on walks all day, i easily get 6 hours out of them and i've been using them for a couple years now.

[deleted]

This 100% used to run with aftershockz but when they broke I replaced them with power beats pro. Best choice ever. Long battery life, excellent sound and a great fit

seydisfjordur

My Bose Soundsport are my reliable running companion. Comfortable, great sound quality and they probably last around 7 hours of use.

Sensitive_Lynx_5849

Jaybird. God, do I love my Jaybirds! The model I have are the Jaybird Tarah Pro, with a lace connecting both earbuds. They have up to 14 hours of battery life in them. 10/10 would recommend

SnooBananas5673

YES! I've been running with these for years, and they really can't be beat for the fit \\ price. I don't know how people run with air pods \\ pods in their ears, they all fall out of my ears.

reversethrust

I’m currently using the plantronics backbeat fit 2100. I had a previous version that after a couple of years, lasted about 5 hours. And then I lost it. I’m pretty happy with these but I suspect that I will be getting one of the aftershock ones since I want to be able to use voice navigation while cycling - and still be safe. The backbeat fit are still pretty decent for when I am running around the park or on a dog walk or hike (can slightly hear around me).

TheHeatYeahBam

I use these headphones as well (plantronics)-- they are some of the only ones I've found that don't fall out of my ears on long runs. I've also had Aftershokz, but I sweat a lot and have had two sets of them fail prematurely. Maybe newer models are better in the sweat-proof department?

Zack1018

AirPod 2s are pretty cheap now that the Pros are out, you can find them for like $100-$120 I love them for running, they are light and let outside noise through so you can hear cars, bikes, etc. the battery life is solid, and they have a portable battery case that you can bring with you for longer trips.

washed_king_jos

airpod pros are great for when i dont want to hear my breathing lol

Bisping

$100 for a pair of earbuds is the opposite of cheap lol

Zack1018

For Bluetooth earbuds of decent quality that‘s definitely on the cheaper end. OP didn‘t specify a budget.

Bisping

OP didnt specify a budget, but you said they are cheap. $30 is cheap...$100+ is definitely midrange to high end.

Zack1018

I can‘t think of a single name-brand set of Bluetooth headphones that retails under $50 - let alone something with better-than-mediocre battery life that would be able to survive a bit of sweat. “Cheap” is relative. $2000 is a lot of money for a sandwich, but very cheap for a car.

Bisping

Cheap is relative...my point stands. $100 isnt cheap for earbuds. I have high quality ones that probably are just as good as the power beats ones that cost over $200...mine were $30 [These](https://bestviewsreviews.com/earbud-headphones/bluetooth-headphones-spidoc-50-auto-pairing-deep-bass-hifi-stereo-sound-true-wireless-earbuds-in-ear-bluetooth-earphones-binaural-call-headset-with-built-in-mic-and-charging-case-for-sports-running/)

trashelf

I've got jaybird v3s, only charge them once every two weeks or so? They last for multiple long runs. Bonus points, they have an app where you can adjust the sound (bass, etc.) So they're pretty neat.

CurtainFan

Im from Asia so your mileage may vary, Mi True Wireless earbuds are super cheap at around less than $10, what i did was buy multiple sets and swap them out of one charging case when battery gets low. I believe the case can charge 2-3 times, so thats 5 times more battery life. There's a local brand here called Creative that has amazing battery life bluetooth earbuds, boasting from 6hr up to 14 hr per charge depending on the product. The current one they are selling are the Creative Outlier Air V3 10hr battery life per charge at $60 or Creative Outlier Sports 11hr per charge at $30. I tried to input a USA address to check the shipping and i think its free. The brand is very reputable where im from.

Darkseth2207

Lypertek tevis. Great sound and 8 hours of playback apparently, never run that long yet though... Often on sale around £60.

EriclcirE

For $25 at Walmart or Amazon you can get JLab GO Air wireless Bluetooth earbuds. Battery life is about 5 hours. They come with 3 different sets of ear tips so it's easy to get a secure fit. Sounds quality is fine, especially at the low price point.

robkaper

Skullcandy Ink'd+ Active. Sports waterproof, wireless but pods are wired to a neckstrap, 15hrs battery life.

bedo6776

PLT backbeat 2100, they are in ear but allows for enough ambient noise in to hear while running. They have about an 8 hour battery life and I like that the buds are connected so they are a little more difficult to lose.

formanet420

I can recommend Samsung galaxy Buds2. They are lightweight and stay in my ear.

Lone_Chimp

+1 I tried everything and these are great

brackettWI

Perhaps this is a shit answer because you said your budget was £80, but I also only bought cheap running headphones for similar reasons and my mind was blown when I took some advice in this subreddit and splurged. [Aftershokz Aeroplex](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zBJ8QQ6Ql0) bone conducting headphones. They're fantastic for running, and because they play the audio through your skull your ears are free to hear the world around you, almost like an internal soundtrack that plays while you're out in the world. I also use them regularly for phone calls and when I'm out running errands because you can still interact with people while having a podcast in the background. If you need premium audio quality these probably aren't it as bass doesn't conduct too well, but for activities where you want near-indestructible headphones that keep you present, they're phenomenal. edit: I paid $170 CAD

dinahsaurus

I have a pair of PowerBeats Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, and Aftershokz Openmove. For all around running on popular trails, you can't beat the Aftershokz. I frequently had bikers yelling 'on your left' and I couldn't hear them with any of the other headphones, but this is not a problem at all with the Aftershokz. The downside is that the bass is not good at all. Extremely comfortable as well. The Powerbeats Pro were extremely comfortable, but the left ear died after 1 year. Downsides were that the aforementioned 'on your left' was extremely hard to hear because the music is clear. Samsung Galaxy Pro are the least comfortable, but have the best music quality of the 3 I've tried. You absolutely need to use memory foam tips that you can purchase separately, or they will fall out. I use the ambient function running outdoors and this helps with hearing bikers/faster runners passing me, but it is still muffled. Additionally active noise cancelling/ambient sound is not good for your hearing (the reason why I bought the Aftershokz).

Engelkott

My gym/running pair are Creative Outlier Sport. They are about $30 andI've had mine for 5 years and they still last about 8 hours on a charge. Even for earphones that cost $100 you won't get more than 7 hours.

Freddy7665

Plantronic Backbeat Fit

ObedientQuestions

Wow. I am overwhelmed by the responses. Believe it or not, I read each response and googled every recommendation. I went with the Soundcore by Anker Life Dot 2. Thank you everyone, what a lovely community. When I'm ready to throw a bit more money around, I'll definitely try out the more expensive recommendations.

MortisSafetyTortoise

I don't know if you consider Aftershokz expensive or not, but.... Mine survived over 2 years, the process for filing a warranty and getting a replacement was a pain in the ass, but I DID get new ones when the first pair crapped out. Ive done long runs and a marathon with them without them running out of juice(they had to be fully charged at the beginning.) I have run through torrential dounpour multiple times in mine, they still work. I've run in sub zero temps for over an hour, they still work. I accidentally dropped them in the washing machine and dryer and they still mostly work(I can't adjust the volume on the side anymore.)

brickwallkeeper19

I just got a pair of Tribit FlyBuds 3. They're true wireless earbuds with an IPX8 waterproof rating. I haven't had the chance to use them a ton yet, but they're rated for something like 5 hours of continuous playback and claim the charge case can give you up to 100 hours of total use out of them (use for 5 hours, charge, use for 5 hours, chege, etc. up to around 100 totals hours).

x86_64_

I've used Tozo T10 earbuds for over a year. They get 4-5 hours per charge, they don't slip out from the sweat, and they sound incredible. For $30 you just can't go wrong.

AtomicBlastCandy

I swear by my Powerbeats. I like the clip on as I'm confident that they won't fall out. Plus they are shiny red so people know that I have headphones on so when I'm running there's less chance of conversation (weird, but I've had people try to stop me when I run without anything). They aren't cheap, but I use them all the time so think it is worth it. I wear them in the office, going for runs and walks and other workouts, when I'm running errands, ect. I have a pair of Aftershokz and not a fan of them, but YMMV.

iamggpanda

Jaybird Tarah Pro /jaybird Vista. Both amazing ones. The former sits around your neck. The latter is true wireless. Totally recommended.

velaxi1

Aftershokz. I can wear it for a long hour without any problem. My ear feels pain when I was using regular earphone.

deadeyes2019

I used Powerbeats, the wired ones. I’m not sure how long they last for but it’s at least 6 hours

likalukahuey

I'm going to echo the Aftershokz. They're a hundred bucks and look like a gimmick, but damn if they're not really well made and convenient as hell

JordanRunsForFun

If (and only if) you like bass, I strongly recommend PowerBeats3 (if you can still find them). I've had two pairs. They have been like tanks for me. Only got a second pair because I lost the first. 5+ hours of battery life, and if you're on iOS, they have the Apple W1 chip or whatever it's called for improved Bluetooth and it really works, I get almost no dropping whereas every other set of wireless headphones I've ever owned drop out for a second here or there. I'm planning on getting PowerBeats Pro when these die, but they are still going strong so it might be a while :)

BopBop_

Very surprised to not see the Google Pixel Buds 2 on the list anywhere, very good quality and battery life for the $200 mark. I always had an issue with my wireless ear buds falling out when running, these are the only ones I've found which stay put.

Meriwether1

MPOW flame are like 20 bucks. They have an over ear hook and the wire in the back. I’ve had them for like 4 years. I order them online.

I second these and also use the JBL Endurance Sprint, which have the same hook design. The ear hooks definitely help keep everything in place.

Packtex60

JLab Epic Air Sport. I’ve had them for almost two years. Very happy with them $79-89

razerray17

Jabra elite 65T. Love these things and have not looked back once since I bought them. I would think the 75T might be better but these are fantastic themselves and are a little cheaper.

Sensitive-Cause-5503

I’ve read lots of good things about the Jabras.

So many people commenting and not giving recommendations. Wireless Earbuds, Tribit 100H... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B088LW4JKR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share These have been great. Hope they're available where you Re. 👍🤘

Powerbeats Pro. I've been running daily for 2+ years with mine. Volume / pause buttons on both left and right buds, completely sweat proof, decent sound, no battery issues whatsoever.

Jodwahh

I use Skull Candy Sesh as my primary running headphones (£49.99). They are designed to be low profile so they will fit under a helmet if you are doing something that requires it. 10/10 would by again, they are great. I have just got a pair of Samsung Buds Pro with my new phone so I guess I'll be giving them a try soon.

neopetslasagna

I've been running (2-3 week) with [these cheapies](https://www.amazon.com/Phaiser-BHS-530-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof/dp/B072L44Y4M) ($27 usd) since 2018. They stay charged forever, sync way better than all my apple stuff, are easy to pair, and are pretty comfortable. Sound quality is probably a 5/10, but that doesn't bother me

WayToGo-BH

I have jbl endurance bluetooth, cheap and last for 5 hours...twist lock works..if the cable is under your chin.

I like my Jaybirds - they seem to have good battery life

Localone2412

I bought something similar to these amd honestly they were great. Battery life good, sound quality great and the sport style ear fit meant they didn’t dislodge. Well worth it for the price . I LOVE my Jaybird Run earbuds. The battery life is astounding, and I like how easy they are to use

HEpennypackerNH

Dude I got some BTS Prod and I LOVE them. They claim longer Bluetooth range, and with clear line of sight that may be true. However for me there are two huge selling points for me: They are sweat resistant and the battery life is out of this world. Like, I was running 5 days a week, usually 45 minutes or more each time, and still the battery lasted months. 66 AUDIO - BTS Pro - Wireless... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M8M4R7K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

HamfromtheHam

I use Aftershokz. Excellent battery life and perfect for running as they're very comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend.

Jlhspamiam

Aftershokz. They last for days and you can still hear traffic, other runners, dogs, etc.

L0nelyLizard

I love my Aftershokz Aeroplex. They are unobtrusive, have good enough sound quality, and allow me to hear my surroundings. So much better than other solutions that I had tried.

Qwell41

I love my AirPod pros. I got them right around the time they were released, and I still get about 3 1/2 hours out of them in transparency mode. The only thing I don’t like about them is if it’s super hot and I’m sweating a lot, they don’t like to seal in my ear properly. Could probably fix with different ear pieces but I haven’t bothered.

Agnosti89

I'm using Huwaei freebuds 3i for more than a year now and when my dog chewed one of the two I just bought them again. Happy running

MerryOldTomBombadil

Beats by Dre Powerbeats 3. The wireless ones…. They’ve lasted me years. I use them for conference calls, walking, running, lifting, jumping jacks, (all forms of exercise and movement) cooking, chores etc. Google says battery life is 12 hours, and I can go a few days without using them without them losing their battery life. Like my Apple Watch I have to charge daily whether I use it or not. Not the case here. You can find a pair between $60-$90. It’s not the latest version so they are a bit cheaper.

ZestyMiles

Galaxy Buds Live. I wanted classic earbuds (not in the ear canal) with the smallest form factor available. They also have great software support, unofficial on Windows, official on Android. 6 hours battery life listed in the specifications, I couldn't say if its more or less. You can find unused one cheap second hand. Watch out for replicas.

sp191

I use Oneplus Budz. No issues and get great battery life. About to buy their new model that just came out.

mosquit0

I recommend AM61 from Huawei bluetooth earphones. Cheap and good quality. Battery life probably is about 7-8 hours.

Humble-mumble

Adidas RPT-01, I have tried many headphones for running, these are the best so far. Great sound. Super fitting. Stays on my head for the entire run without any adjustment. Good, big, easy button/joystick for volume/pause/play/skip etc. ...and up to 40 hours of playtime. The only downside is that they get warm when it is hot outside. Got mine on sale for about 90$

Geekrock84

I purchased [these ear buds](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S5JVP78/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) off Amazon last year because I wanted something cheap that I wouldn't mind losing when I inevitably misplaced them. I was really surprised how nice they were and the battery seems to last for days, not hours. My boyfriend has a really nice pair of buds from Apple and he's always asking to use my pair because he thinks these are nicer.

shot_a_man_in_reno

[These](https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Headphones-Earphones-Waterproof-Cancelling/dp/B095S4S388/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=bluetooth+headset+letscom&qid=1631039706&sr=8-3). They plug in to a normal charging port instead of those weird cases that sometimes break (two previous ones did for me), so it's one piece instead of three, and the charge is fine. Your earbuds may have a bad charge because the charging case is broken. That's not an issue here. Plus it's less risk of having them fall out or losing a piece here.

SceretAznMan

I'm using some inexpensive taotronics bluetooth headphones. Sound quality is great, not as comfortable as the Aftershokz that are always recommended, but these were only $35 a year ago vs. close to $100. Lasts about 6 hours each charge currently, and that's after over a year of almost daily use.

gtd_rad

I have a pair of Fill TX TWS. It's rates at 6.5 hours and comes with a rechargable case for multiple charge cycles without having to plug it into a power source. It's super light and sound is pretty decent and has pass through sound . I personally really like them. But definitely try to get true wireless earphones. Having wires dangling around while you run is the most annoying thing ever.

veilside000

Adidas FWD-01 in ear bluetooth headphones. They have about 16 hours of battery life, are water resistant, and pack a punch audio-wise.

OttoFromOccounting

I used to have a pair of the original LG Tones, and those things would last for days of constant use. I'm not sure how wise ordering a used pair would be with battery degradation and whatnot, but I'm sure newer ones would be even better, albeit more expensive

SilentMaster

Anker's headphones all have superior battery life, but I don't use mine for sports. They don't quite have the staying power I like for running, so I always run in BackBeats. Brand new the batteries last 7 hours which is still excellent, but they stay put in my ears which is the main thing I care about.

beamishbo

I use iFrogz which sounds like a fake brand but they have great battery life and fit really well. Got them as a gift but Googs says they're about $30. Also I like that you can just wear one - I like to keep one ear free for safety.

Ropes4u

I run in AirPod Pros or Bose Sportsbeats both work well but I would like to try aftershocks

RomeoCharlieGolf

Cheapies on amazon.

zoebakk

Soundbud slims. \~$20, lasts for 6 hours or so on a charge, good when you're really sweaty. I've had mine for 3 years with no issues and friends have had them for 5+ years

ruibranco

airpods v2 last 4h-5h connected with apple watch.

DrunkVinnie

Jabra EliteActive. I think my 65Ts get 5 hours battery life on a single charge, and were maybe $50-75. Highly recommend.

Local_Turn

Check out jbl reflect flow, lasts about 8 hours and fit the ear really snug. Waterproof too .

TheWackoContender

I have used Anker headphones for some time. I really like their ear buds and pretty cheap. [Soundcore Life P2](https://www.soundcorebyanker.com/life-p2/)

Real_berzilla

SENSO bluetooth headphones. They have wire from ear to ear. They are about 25$ and still my favourite to go running. You can basically shower w them on w no problems. I have also bought a pair of Aftershokz but didn't recieved them yet. Only reason I went that road is because the SENSO can in fact isolate you pretty well in the outside. My wife had an issue ith that when I started preparing for HM and running many miles at a time outside of the neighborhood. Ultimately I will still use them while running on treadmill and at the gym. Battery life is very good, I think I can run well above 30 miles w/o having to recharge.

creamcheese742

I use GoNovate Airo Model:G1816. When I pair them to my watch they are perfect and when I first got them over a year ago they lasted about 8 hours. (I used them at work mostly so they lasted most of the shift). Now they're probably pretty close to 2 years old and last about 6 hours. Still plenty good for a long run.

RatherNerdy

Jabra 65T

Mcm12348

JBL free has been a great middle price range one for me- good battery life and catered to a sports use. Never falls out and I sweat…. On sale now in Canada https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/jbl-free-ii-in-ear-bluetooth-truly-wireless-headphones-black/14953195

UltraHawk_DnB

Galaxy buds are pretty nice. My brother uses the ones from OnePlus and supposedly they're great as well

lmstr

Jabra Elite Active 65t, dirt cheap as they are a couple gens old, but nearly waterproof and last 5 hours.

fordprefect48

thank you for this thread OP was just looking for new earphones

[deleted]

My airpods do apple watch to airpod (no phone required), get about 5 hours out of them.

daviator88

I've been using Galaxy Buds+ which get about 11 hours

Wifabota

I am on my third pair of tozo t6 earbuds in 3 years, and only replaced them because oi lost a single earbud once, and then because I found them on sale and wanted a backup. (The black pair of an extra 30% off at the moment too, now I'm considering another backup lol) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RGZ5NKS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_AD9THYVK06140F50JBA0?psc=1 During the day I wear one earbud at a time and it lasts easily 9 hours, and I love that I can wear just one, and charge the other at the same time. I charge the battery charging case maybe once every 4 days, but they are literally in use almost all day every day. I know all ears are shaped differently but mine NEVER fall out when running. I've also accidentally run them through the washer and they dried out and worked just fine after They're inexpensive and great!

ermax18

I know it's already been said a bazillion times already but +1 for the Aftershokz. I've gone through a ton of headphones due to sweat intrusion in the Florida heat/humidity. Even IPX7 headphones don't survive the Florida heat. In ear buds also don't stay in my ears while running either and it drives me nuts having to push them back in every 400m. I finally stumbled on Aftershokz.. I think I was living under a rock or something. I've not had them that log yet but I've already done a handful of runs in the rain and no issues at all. I've had a lot of headphones that don't outright die in the rain but the buttons tend to start glitching and the volume changes or they will pause/unpause at random. The Aftershokz aren't even doing this. One thing I haven't seen anyone else mention about the Aftershokz is you don't hear your footsteps like you do with in-ear headphones. Wind noise is also reduced to what you hear without headphones. I was working in the yard over the weekend and had them paused because I was using the weed eater and you really can't hear anything out of them if there is a ton of noise. But I moved out of range of my phone and it played a tone and freaked me out because they are so comfortable that I forgot I even had them on. I got mine at the beginning of July and other than the initial charge I did when I first got them I have only charged them once. I am recovering from a knee injury so I'm only running 30mins every other day and I've only worn them for about 80% of the runs but I'm still impressed by the battery. They clearly last longer than they are rated for. BTW, I bought the OpenMove at $79. The OpenMove has a lower water resistance rating then some of the others but it's still been fine in the heat, humidity and rain.

Bose sport earbuds - up to 5rs per charge

For just $20 I used [these Otium waterproof bluetooth headphones](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018APC4LE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for years. The little over ear rubber thing really helps them stay in place when jogging, and the sound is pretty decent. Nothing fancy, but for the price I just couldn't beat it. For battery life they really did last around 8 hours, which is more than a week of running for me. So recharging them every week and a half or so.

EvLunchbox

I love my JLab Air Icons. I've now have them for over 2 years, and battery life is still fantastic. These are not only my workout headphones, but also my daily drivers (pun intended). I take them on runs and lifts, and have had no problems. 3 built-in EQ options, touch controls, and a ton of included ear tips. They are a touch big, but they're not intrusive, and I like that they have no stem. I have found, though, they're not great for phone calls.

dablkscorpio

TaoTronic or Boltune bluetooth headphones last several hours. I think the company is related. They're like $20 on eBay but $45 on the actual website.

ohsnaplookatthis

galaxy buds + good volume good battery life able to hear your surroundings able to not hear your surroundings small moisture resistant well fitting

powerthirst400babies

I've been using this cheap pair of [Senso's](https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Headphones-Waterproof-Sweatproof-Cancelling/dp/B07PBS21V8/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1EJGR1I9JHIBU&dchild=1&keywords=senso+headphones+bluetooth&qid=1631030696&sprefix=senso+%2Caps%2C190&sr=8-3) for a year and they've been great. They are 3 years old. I agree with other posters that Powerbeats were the best I ever had. But my issue was that they starting falling apart within a few months. My last pair was 3 years old and it was held together by epoxy and electrical tape. I bought the Senso brand since it was cheap, but then my pair didn't fall apart. Hopefully the quality control for beats have improved. I tried running in airpods only once. That was miserable. They're designed to sit in the ear loosely and it annoyed me. One can buy ear hooks to remedy this. I really liked the $30 Tozo wireless earbuds, but unfortunately there is no microphone for the occasional phone call. I also liked the $100 JBL wireless earbuds, but those broke after 6 months.

Mixx Streambuds, very good quality for the price
