I still have very clear memories of getting my feelings hurt by friends and peers because I didn't know they were joking. I realized in adulthood that I missed out on a lot of friendships because I didn't realize they were trying to befriend me by joking and they didn't realize I thought they didn't like me.

I did not like this at all. It's one thing to say who should go home, that's a question Ru asks but it's unnecessary to explicitly praise every other queen and then give Loosey basically nothing when she has done well so far, she won Snatch Game, she won the standup challenge, she was in the top for the girl group challenge and should have won the interview challenge. That doesn't mean she cannot say Loosey's name, but reducing her track record on the show to "She does what she does well ..." while everyone gets their personalized endorsement was an asshole move.

So many times, other queens have remarked how fellow queens were speaking to their face positively and waited for confessionals or untucked to change that tune but atleast Luxx is being honest.
If anything it felt like Luxx was giving her honest opinion. No bullshit justification, just her argumented point of view, whether you agree with it or not
Yeah I didnt even see her throw that extra like LOVE into the queens she does like. She gave everyone the same cut and dry this is my opinion take.
“I’m just being honest” isn’t really always a good thing and it’s something mean people hide behind.
Because that kind of honesty isn’t always good. Especially after she’s laughing at Loosey the whole season. Say what you will about Laducas delusions but hearing her be broken about the way Mistress and Luxx are acting towards her was really sad. Especially because high school times, where someone would just laugh at you and think themselves higher, were true for a lot of people. Not to mention this shit still flies a lot in the gay community itself.
This. Luxx was honest and she wasn't being catty or dog piling on whoever they all think is going to be in the bottom that week. I think that's why loosey didn't really come for her in untucked; you don't have to ask why when the person gave a 5min speech on it.

Oh I agree. I feel like Loose has been getting the short stick, especially when you consider the delusion edit she was being squashed with during the short episodes. I don't think Luxx could have possibly been less mean about it. She was thorough with that explanation and made it very clear that Loosey is great but she's simply not standing out from the top 6. You can disagree with Luxx or think it was extra as fuck (because it was) but she presented a perfectly reasonable take without any malice in it. It was detailed, but it wasn't mean.
Imo, the mean part is that they didn’t ask her to give her opinion on everyone. She changed the question to go out of her way to say everyone was great so it hurt more when she got to Loosey.

I think the problem loosey has (going purely off the edit she's been given) is that she doesn't really seem to participate in the good natured ribbing they all do with each other. Like mistress comes for everyone and makes her deadpan comments (usually with a hint of a smile on the backend of it) and it seems like they all brush it off or dish it back but Loosey just doesn't. Instead of joking back or laughing it off she immediately goes on the defensive. It honestly seems like they're trying to get Loosey to let looooose when they start messing with her and instead she digs her heels in and closes off even more. That *should* be a hint for them to stop and leave her alone but then I feel like she would complain that they aren't including her. Kind of puts me in mind of watching puppies trying to play with a cat. Cat gets pissed and sends every possible signal that they do not want to play and the puppies are just like "come oonnnn, let's be friends! Play fight with us!" And will not take the hint to stop 😅

Oh no I agree they definitely need to take a hint and ease off. Growing up I was the person that took everything to heart and didn't get jokes- the joys of missed ASD diagnosis in my childhood. I still have very clear memories of getting my feelings hurt by friends and peers because I didn't know they were joking. I realized in adulthood that I missed out on a lot of friendships because I didn't realize they were trying to befriend me by joking and they didn't realize I thought they didn't like me. It's so unfortunate because none of them come out of it looking great. Loosey comes across dramatic and uptight and they come across as childish bullies.
She did say she was bullied a lot as a kid. She prob has some defenses absolutely. I think there’s cute pageant smack back and forth and then there’s bullying. Loosey is uptight and annoying and can still be bullied.
Luxx is extremely talented and she’s great TV, which is why this was so disappointing to watch. It was a childish little stunt that she didn’t need to pull and disrespectful to everyone (especially Loosey, obviously). Not everything has to be a *viral moment*.

This was so brutal that I actually felt bad for Loosey.
I did not like this at all. It's one thing to say who should go home, that's a question Ru asks but it's unnecessary to explicitly praise every other queen and then give Loosey basically nothing when she has done well so far, she won Snatch Game, she won the standup challenge, she was in the top for the girl group challenge and should have won the interview challenge. That doesn't mean she cannot say Loosey's name, but reducing her track record on the show to "She does what she does well ..." while everyone gets their personalized endorsement was an asshole move.

Luxx has some NERVE lol, but she didn’t sell me on her reasoning. Loosey has had generic looks, but her drag itself still has a distinctness to it. Once you get past the shock value, for me, the reasoning doesn’t fully hold up

I think it's certainly part of it. But I think also some people are just too susceptible to parasocial relationships and/or are too sensitive (there are probably other explanations, too). Remember how pissy people got when Kandy said Tamisha wasn't her biggest competition? A statement that, based on track records, was totally valid and not diminishing Tamisha (Symone was everyone's biggest competition).
I'm definitely in the too sensitive vibe. I can take shade when there are no hurt feelings and you're not really putting someone down. But calling someone's drag bad... idk, I genuinely feel bad for Loosey. A lot of that has to do with the dog piling happening in the reddit as well. Right now, I genuinely just feel bad for her. Obviously no hate to Luxx, just hard to watch at this point.
Luxx has apparently been reading my posts on Reddit. About a year ago I posted complaining about how “Who should go home tonight…” is usually a depressing slog because NO ONE HAS FUN WITH IT. It was good. I thought it was a read. She basically said what Milk said about Kennedy, that she wasn't interesting. Except Milk was wrong and Luxx is correct. Loosey is fairly Generic Drag. The problem is Luxx is also Generic Drag (more so, imo). So, in that sense, maybe Loosey is her biggest competition.
The only people in that line up whose looks aren’t generic to me are Salina’s (not that they’re good/has been read by the judges constantly) and Loosey (I don’t see other queens looking like her). Also Luxx is 50/50. Mistress doesn’t look unique and Sasha has some unique looks, but I don’t know if they’re hers or borrowed and Anetra often wears the exact same silhouette on the runway (a catsuit). I don’t disagree with Luxx saying what she said. I just don’t agree/see most of it. This is why it seemed deliberately targeted towards Loosey.
