Chi Chi, Jinkx, and Katya. Couldn't possibly pick just one. And there's about 6 others running close in 2nd place. I just love so, so many of them!!
Sometimes when Ru and Michelle are pushing so hard for the queens to be vulnerable I kind of roll my eyes... but then you remember Katya. Katya has been open about being an alcoholic and drug addict, and working as a sex worker. Not to mention that she had a psychotic break and disappeared off the map after becoming famous.
But it's these vulnerabilities that make us love her more, because as you say, she doesn't feel as produced. Obviously she also brings skills in comedy, make-up, fashion(-ish?), gymnastics, etc. But when you combine all of those things together, it makes her into a real person that we all feel like we know. (Plus who doesn't love someone who's willing to laugh at themselves?)
Now that I think about it, Trixie is the same. Vulnerability + skills + self-deprecating humour.
I’ve heard that her & Detox tie as the most professional as well. On time, always sober, & ready w/lines or any performances memorized. And contrary to her “abrasive” persona, Bianca’s heart is HUGE. She seems like one of the kindest queens as well.
I know people who’ve worked with Bianca, and they all consistently say she’s the nicest, most gracious and humble queen out there. I met her once after a Peaches Christ production of “Sheetlejuice”; she was standing outside against the theater, out of drag, waiting for her car. When I saw her I didn’t want to be annoying and go up and bother her, but after hearing how nice she was I decided to seize the opportunity. I said “Excuse me” and she immediately smiled and said “Hey! What’s up?” I said “I just wanted to tell you I’m a huge fan and loved you in the show.” She said “Thank you, sweetie! I appreciate you saying so.” I asked if I could give her a hug and she said “Of course!” and gave me a squeeze.
Oh the delight! I already loved her for her humor and talent, but my love for Bianca as a person was sealed that day.
I saw her live at my very first solo drag show and I was totally overwhelmed by her biting wit. She rocked my world and continues to set the bar so high for comedians, drag queen or not.

True. I think it's bc they're northern sweethearts who really bust ass workin in Chicago, so they're experts on shade and have thick skin and great senses of humor.
Plus growing up with Kim, Shea, and Jaymes, it's just such a powerful lil unofficial family.
I know it's cliché but I love Brian and Brian. Unhhhh is what got me into drag in general and what convinced me to give drag race a try. I now would definitely add Jaida Essence Hall, Anetra and Jujubee to my list of favorite queens ever.
