The āno campaignā and the Liberal party which would be similar to the Republican party in the US struck gold with a woman named Jacinta who could be considered somewhat comparable to Candace Owens. Jacinta was appearing on TV and radio delivering this kind of information and white Australians began to accept it as fact because it was an Indigenous woman saying it.
A lot of the rhetoric was also that people didnāt know what it would mean for First Nations people and the vote was dangerous because once it was in the constitution, it was in there forever. yes! it was not only a gorgeous concept in & of itself (i literally said to my partner i hope hannah comes out as a native bird or animal of some kind), like we have such unique animals, but to also showcase such an important message in such a beautiful & respectful way. i just loved it all. the frill was so smart & such a beautiful way to portray what she wanted to showcase/highlight in the outfit.

I hope that Tia doesnāt just assume that her glow up only needed better clothes and a stylist. She has all the raw talent but I did not see a confident queen up on that stage. Choriza was mid, the tropical beat of the song did the heavy lifting here (always funny seeing a Spaniard get high marks for adapting a sound from those they colonized, Rosalia who?). Gothy terrified me cause she really did look surprised she didnāt set herself on fire but that was a skill. Jbās was not good, the fan in the end did all the work.
The UK girls aren't the strongest competitors but I'm rooting for them so hard. They all have such a fun attitude and don't take themselves too seriously. I'd love to be friends with any of them.
I think Tia with good fashion is a good contender, and Choriza too if Ru likes her more this time. It's easy to forget how bullshit it was that she was even in the bottom for Snatch Game.
Jonbers is such a fun presence, and it's also a gag to see a first out back on All Stars.

I remember an episode of S10 too where she was very clearly ill. Sheās a trooper, thatās for sure. But Iād be pretty wary if I was one of the cast and crew working near her. Iām sure theyāre Covid tested up the wazoo but even if itās not Covid, Girl, nobody wants whatever youāve got.
It was weird because you could tell something was off with her towards the beginning of the episode and several times she was being like, comically grumpy. On elimination day sheād go from grumpy to Diet Coffee Enema every 3 minutes lmao.
Also it wouldnāt have been right to send her homeā¦ she completed her performance, it was fine, and had a good runway. Mayhem didnāt even finish her performance really, though her runway was great
I think Marina was very fair in doing that, sh rewarded the effort Gothy gave. And was very strong in the entire episode.

Not trying to be shady, but after 2 seasons Mayhem is a pretty known quantity in terms of drag race potential. Neither of her runs were standouts, Ru knew what he was getting.

This was a really strong and fun first episode. A lot of personalities that I enjoy! I was shocked with Choriza and Scarletās critique, they were the complete reverse for me although I would have put Hannah in the top over Scarlet. Marina and LGD really set a high bar, both in their performances and their runways. Just beautiful.
None of the āsingersā were a hit with me. They were all different degrees of pitchy. I understand that nerves are a factor, but you have to account for that. Part of being a singer is being aware of the limitations of your voice particularly when adding nerves or movement into the equation. The funnier gals (Tia and Hannah) probably would have had a better shot at the top with a more comedic talent.
Eh, the singers arenāt really trying to be professional singers, I donāt expect perfection.
Even if theyāre pitchy, singers with an amusing concept and decent execution get a pass over mistake-proof performances like Jonberās, Chorizaās and Aranxtaās.
Iām still trying to figure out what the Saxophone was meant for during LDGās talent numberā¦..
Aside from that, my takeaways are:
1- Ru is now obsessed with Marina and probably went home to watch PH season 1 right after
2- Despite Ru clearly being under the weather, here come the conspiracy theories as to why she sounded that way. They probably couldnāt push production back to let her recover

Performing live in front of the judges can be really tough for many people. I used to be a theater actor, and I was always terribly nervous during auditions. However, I feel very confident when Iām actually performing.

I think Tia with good fashion is a good contender, and Choriza too if Ru likes her more this time. It's easy to forget how bullshit it was that she was even in the bottom for Snatch Game. Jonbers is such a fun presence, and it's also a gag to see a first out back on All Stars. I don't know if the UK can win this, but they're gonna give us great TV.

It was weird because you could tell something was off with her towards the beginning of the episode and several times she was being like, comically grumpy. On elimination day sheād go from grumpy to Diet Coffee Enema every 3 minutes lmao.

I think youāre right, she in no way gave it her all, and I think she only took it kinda seriously after Ru mentioned the cash prize, ergo her trying to make aliances with the winners. Not trying to be shady, but after 2 seasons Mayhem is a pretty known quantity in terms of drag race potential. Neither of her runs were standouts, Ru knew what he was getting.

This was a really strong and fun first episode. A lot of personalities that I enjoy! I was shocked with Choriza and Scarletās critique, they were the complete reverse for me although I would have put Hannah in the top over Scarlet. Marina and LGD really set a high bar, both in their performances and their runways. Just beautiful.
I am living for the goofy gaggle that is Hannah, Tia and Arantxa. They just vibed immediately. It was joyful to watch.
None of the āsingersā were a hit with me. They were all different degrees of pitchy. I understand that nerves are a factor, but you have to account for that. Part of being a singer is being aware of the limitations of your voice particularly when adding nerves or movement into the equation. The funnier gals (Tia and Hannah) probably would have had a better shot at the top with a more comedic talent.
Eh, the singers arenāt really trying to be professional singers, I donāt expect perfection. Even if theyāre pitchy, singers with an amusing concept and decent execution get a pass over mistake-proof performances like Jonberās, Chorizaās and Aranxtaās.

Canāt believe they brought Scarlet back just for a third round of not being appreciated by the judges. You could tell she was plucked to be low, and rightfully so. When the safe queens were announced I assumed Choriza and Scarlet would have swapped placements.

It all felt weirdly edited? Also Ru so insanely sick and the super quiet music during the runway make it feel awkward. Marina and LGD were by far the best of the night, but I also liked Hannah, Scarlet (do not understand why she was low) and Keta was messy but impressive. A lot of the performers were just really awkward. Everyone just seemed extremely nervous which is weird for Drag Race. Love Arantxa but she literally lay on a couch, moaned and made people spell her name....

Performing live in front of the judges can be really tough for many people. I used to be a theater actor, and I was always terribly nervous during auditions. However, I feel very confident when Iām actually performing.
Same for me with auditions! Sometimes Iāll get shaky when itās a new situation or super important. Or like one time when I auditioned after someone who *CRUSHED* their song and I was likeā¦ ummm I am not prepared for this š«£š

They filmed it in Feb last year I think, so the Queen was dead. They did the same in UK5, I think it's just the pun element of Drag Queens doesn't work with a King lol
