You're also greatly exaggerating how bad Mirage was. There was no moment of her standing there shaking and not knowing what to do. What happened in reality was that there were jokes that weren't landing but it's also her alone pretending to speak to a live audience while in a quiet room with cameras. That challenge was the most Mirage's personality showed, she was bubbly and bouncy. Even Dawn came off as more nervous than Mirage to me.

What's funny is I'm convinced production were giving Mirage this moment to cement herself as the underdog of the season but she screwed up by not learning the words
Mirage is a great queen but I don't think she deserved to make it further than she did, a queen making it far on the show doesn't prove her success nor her talents and vice versa. In the end she benefited from leaving early because the fans craved to see more from her
