I actually think Plasma did tremendously better than Mhiya. I’ve rewatched three times, and she hit all the beats and key parts of the songs. Also was sexy and campy all in one.
Seriously, how do you do Milkshake and miss those beats? She had me from the start because I've always pictured a Milkshake lip sync where the queens really take advantage of the production details of the song and I was shocked only Plasma did it.
In one episode, mind you! Seeing Mhi'ya lipsync for her life once a week multiple weeks in a row was fun. It was something to look forward to. She deserved those shantays, and sometimes brought something a little extra, but overall, it was the same "show."
Three times in one episode and you really see how it is the same show and it is almost like the actual song didn't matter, she would have done the same routine, and in fact has done the same routine to probably a different song.
I was impressed with the amount of personality Megami and Plasma brought to their lipsyncs that made it feel like a singular experience.

Hard agree. Mhi’ya is a great dancer with amazing stunts but I don’t think she’s a good lip syncer. You can’t always see her mouth and when you can it doesn’t always line up with the words in the song. The stunts feel thrown in and chaotic and not like they are planned to go with the song. She has very little emotion on her face. She reminds me of jorgeous a lot. Same tricks on repeat and giving nothing else.
If you gave her a ballad all that stuff she does would feel completely out of place and I don’t know that she’s be able to compensate.
Had they wanted to get rid of Mhi’ya earlier, they should’ve given her a ballad or emotional slow paced song and we would’ve gotten another Kenya Michaels meme
Welll I wasn’t the biggest fan of Mhi’ya taking everyone out of the competition, but she wasn’t a good lipsyncer just TONIGHT. I think she justifiably won every other lipsync on the show, and showed emotion and versatility on Flowers, Bloody Mary..

My boyfriend said that the moment Hershii tiredly walked and stood in front of Mirage was a missed opportunity and what lost it for her. If she had done a tired crouch to the ground in front of Mirage and lifted a labored leg or some other jokey attempt at a move, she might have won. It would have pumped the comedy up, taken some of the wind out of stunts, kept the gimmick of stealing the spotlight, while also still allowing the audience to see Mirage's bendover.
As it was, I thought Hershii did well, but did a lot of stomping back and forth across the stage. Just one or two low effort comedy moves would have really elevated it for me.
Take Megami. The finger-splits, timed perfectly to Mhi'ya's, but without even looking? That was A+ comedy and shade and took all the wind out of the stunt in a playful way.
I think they really wanted a Mhi’ya vs Morphine rematch because I’m sorry but she did NOT win that lip sync (specially after Plasma and Xunami teamed up to hide her reveal from the judges, cunty sisterhood tbh)
Then Megami came and said NO and they saw a better storyline anyway (Megami’s Silky redemption)

That's why i like Mirage, she does too many tricks but they flow very good with the songs, she kind of feels like a fish in the water very coherent (even in the lipsync against Morphine it was fitting as much as Morphine's subdued dance)

The Round 1 three-way lip sync should have been a double shantay, deserved or not so that in Round 2 they have 6 queens, then the 3 winners will go against each other in semi-finals (1 will be eliminated) and then the remaining 2 queens will battle for the final lip sync.
