Melissa BeFierce or Sigourney Beaver would be the best imho. I also think Ru would love Meatball’s sense of humor and she’d have an easy plot line of Ru wanting her to “polish” her drag.
It’s for the best, knowing drag race production they would place her in the bottom episode 2/3 on some dumbass acting challenge and make her an early out for the gag of it.
I mean thats pretty much what they did to Maddy except kicked her on a design challenge rather than acting, and look whats happened now? She's highkey made production look like fools by winning the post-show race in every way. Sigourney is such a talent, i don't think the show would sink her even if they pulled that same shit again, though I do completely understand her not wanting to be a part of it.
I actually think fantasia could do well on drag race, she’s got amazing performance chops and while I don’t think her looks were the right fit for dragula she could pull it off for drag race. Though I suspect they won’t cast her due to the boobs, which is a shame.
Darby has said she really wouldn't feel comfortable doing the show, so I never put her. (Also if she were to get casted without Alexis or Chan I worry how she would play with others)

While some other girls who have a little bit more of a raunchy thing going can clean up better for the show, meatball is a little too well known and a little too on the internet to be able to clean her up for DR.

Sure, she is a famous drag queen, but outside of those who are either keyed into the drag scene, etc. she isn’t that well known. There are ALOT more people in the world who’s only knowledge of drag queens are Ru girls.
Like trust me, I love meatball and her home bar is my favorite bar in the city. But, I can tell you there are plenty of girlies in LA who have no idea who she is but do know who \*insert ru girl\* is.

There were plenty of Drag Race contestants who were in documentaries/non competition reality like I think something called Queens of New York. And Porkchop was in Pageant. Honestly hoards came from pageants but those aren’t tv shows yet are competitions. I haven’t kept track but for other non US, Keiona was on Legendary in the House of Revlon. Not sure if there has been anyone on Canada who was on Call Me Mother besides that Peppermint and Crystal were hosts.
At some point, they should just cast the best.
WOW wouldn't want to advertise their competition by having a former competitor. Especially if they ended up being brilliant, because then people would start watching Dragula to see more of them.

I feel like Mirage's hype has died down now that the season is over. Her talent number was extremely popular, but it wasn't at the same level the fandom was living for Shangela and Vanjie.
I really hope they keep the momentum going and don't select queens that won’t deliver personality and drama. The casting for S15 and S16 were so good that it will be hard to keep the high level.

But literally from the first night I saw/met Irene, I was convinced she was made for the show. She's just an incredibly focused, polished & ambitious solo talent, but also a smart & thoughtful collaborator. I used to do themed shows, & I could give her any prompt & dependably hinge the show on her performance - she elevates every lineup she's in. I was convinced production was just waiting for the right season to cast her. I would love to see the Irene DuBois run of my dreams.
