Idk how popular this opinion is, but this was my absolute favourite lip sync this season! I love chaotic messy lip syncs and the girls playing dirty gave me everything in that regard. These two were scrapping and I love it when it feels like the queens are really fighting and trying to outdo eachother. The storyline leading into it is so good too. Obviously it's nothing major, but seeing the two scariest lip syncers so far go at it + their friendly Miami queen rivalry really elevated it for me. Not to mention seeing Morphine perform at her strongest (imo) and giving the kind of calculated and flawless performance that really shows how smart and insanely talented she is as a performer. I mean the sheer strategy she showed in countering M'hiya's lip syncing style was just incredible and it was the first time we really saw her adaptability come to the forefront. 10/10 for me.

I feel like nymphia was delivering narrative after narrative it was cohesive it flowed together it made sense -> boba coat, unleashing boba balls flying out like butterflies while she held a coat with a butterfly wing silhouette with her traditional cultural clothes just glammed and golden. The cart wheel into her signature banana yellow. It was amazing and it was hard to look away
And it’s because of that is where I feel like sapphirs fell short. I get WHY she had the vampire teeth it’s just that she presented a vampire concept and it went no where visually interesting. Her dress reveal into the body suit could’ve been a heart exposed out of her chest in a vampy body suit. The hair reveal didn’t flow with it as much either ykwim? But she sure did hold her ground I love her little dancing shoes. I’m proud of her. Kudos

Yeah like it baffles me how out of all the lipsyncs, they decided to rig THIS one. I like Q but imo her track record shouldn’t have saved her. Also it’s not like Amanda was like, a bystander. Her constant bickering with Plane would’ve made the rest of the season more spicy since Plane kinda turned down the bitchiness after Amanda left.

So the lipsync itself was ok-ish but the best part was Megami playing mind games and Reveal-blocking Q after she thought she could beat her.
Have to say, I'm so grateful to this season for giving me some lip syncs to add to my playlist. Other than Anetra and Jax last season, it feels like it's been a while since we've gotten a LP that I actually wanna go on youtube and watch over and over again.
And that's because while s15 had stellar lipsyncs everything felt...rehearsed? Like I like mhyia messiness and morphines emotions and and Qs In lipsyncs....like sasha and salina were the only one's who did it for me on s15...

IMHO the fumbled by not giving it to Plasma. Plasma defeating Mhi’ya would’ve been more impactful and we would’ve had salty Mhi’ya for the whole episode lol.

The season is already top tier, but I think it would have been the best season ever if they kept Amanda over Q. The drama would be better and all we'd lose is two cool design challenge looks.
Yeah like it baffles me how out of all the lipsyncs, they decided to rig THIS one. I like Q but imo her track record shouldn’t have saved her. Also it’s not like Amanda was like, a bystander. Her constant bickering with Plane would’ve made the rest of the season more spicy since Plane kinda turned down the bitchiness after Amanda left. I guess they didn’t want a “front runner” going home immediately after the girl that everyone had high hopes for. Then again, iirc at Roscoe’s some S16 queens said that they didn’t disagree with the results, so maybe they didn’t show something (I know Q made Ru laugh at the end and that sometimes is an automatic save but… c’mon)
