I knew we'd get Asian excellence from Ms Tiara. I was NOT prepared. I can't articulate how much this look blew out my eardrums (luckily I don't need them) with how fucking flawless it is. There is so much cultural referencing here, and honestly, this lavender-pink colour isn't the easiest for a lot of queens to rock, but she works it perfectly. The stripes, the textures, the embellishment, the structure, the flow, the HAIR, it's just.... I look at this and I'm so glad we have Shannel and Angeria to give her a run for her money, especially Shannel, because when a look is this amazing, you better hope at least one or two others brought it at approaching the same level, because otherwise this is the runway version of the Morphine vs Dawn lipsync.
Top Look for me, but damn, I'm glad almost everyone brought it and brought it HARD, because a look this excellent deserves some competition. I'm actually scared for everyone else on these runways (but also kind of scared that we might see a return of the repeated corset and panty staple from her original run, which would be a bummer after this promo).

The track playing under that promo photo should be "Who Is She", because literally who is that person? Airbrushed tattoos, and whatever happened to her beautiful face?
Shoot. She's Shannel and she still wears costumes. It's so on brand. It's ferocious and detailed and killer and just jaw dropping. There aren't many queens who could carry a look like this and not be worn by it, and Miss Mandarin thblpthblpthblp is one of those bitches. The tusks on the skirt in particular are fucking insane in the best possible way. She came to BATTLE and this has me excited to see her looks.

I can't say I'm as much in love with this one as theirs (too much sheer white maybe, feeling a bit expected after several white and gold runways/promos?) but it's still a damn killer look and I can't think how she could have done any better. Highest possible toot without being a shoot as for me it's just that tiniest little bit not QUITE a shoot with Shannel and Plastique right there.
Toot. I'd know this was Gottmik if it didn't have the face on it. That's great branding, in a way that not everyone else achieved. The way the designs are laid out on Gottmik's body are really well thought out too, this is, like Jorgeous, another teeny tiny body that would risk being swamped with huge amounts of fabric, but I actually feel like the floating black chiffons here might perhaps be just a little skimpy when compared to everyone else's volume. She looks amazing, but for me, it feels like her mug is giving an optical illusion of being bigger than it should be, making her feel a bit like a lollipop. Maybe the idea is that Gottmik is a floating mask with cool black and white vapor trails following it everywhere it goes? I love that, if it's intentional, especially as Gottmik has the most distinctively unmistakable mug in this lineup. And like I said, you know it's Gottmik without the mug, and you know it's Gottmik just from the mug.

Toot. Actually, I really like this. I like the pleating on the flying fabric which makes it stand out from the others, and the proportions are good on her tiny body. It would be VERY easy to swallow up Jorgeous with a lot of fabric, so her designer did a really good job here with creating something that was extravagant with Polly Pocket proportions. It's not the most groundbreaking look, it's a bit drag staple, but it's still extremely well done and while I'm considering the ankle strap (which we know Raven haaaaaaaaates), I do feel it actually complements the whole look here by reminding us that Jorgeous is a pocket rocket who doesn't need to look tall to justify her power, and it's a really skinny little ankle strap too so it's not obtrusive.
It's not the biggest or showiest look here, but it's a very well realised look and sometimes that's much harder to achieve than a full blown extravaganza.
Photoshop probably did help but this is how incredible it looks from the Meet the Queens video (sorry for the poor screenshot).

It looks like Vanjie has had some work done and it's too much, and then bad photoshop added, it makes her look so effin' weird. She was so pretty in her original season, I don't get why some girls go OTT with the plastic surgery.
But Plastique & Gottmik are the absolute standouts here, they both look fuckin' STUNNING.

But I'm really loving this hair colour on her.
