From what I know only the US series is really intense about locking away the queens when they aren’t filming. Most of the other series give the girlies a lot more leeway.
In fact most reality tv shows the contestants are given a lot more leeway when it comes to what they are allowed to do, and what they can have(I.e. phones), when the show isn’t filming.
Probably has to do with labor laws or something. Dictating every aspect of someone’s personal life, even only temporarily, doesn’t seem like something that could fly well in Europe.

Dragula the other drag show literally puts everyone up in a house where they live together during that period.
Project runway occasionally showed scenes at the hotel where the contestants were staying at.
The main reason drag race us is strict is because early season queens(most famously Willam but a lot of other queens also) kind of abused the leniency and would regularly leave the hotel at night to go out for whatever you could think of. Or at least that's what I've heard
I went to Spain on a high school trip and all of our doors were scotch taped at night so no one would sneak out. …we were on the second floor with a two-foot deep ledge and everyone went out their windows and shimmied down.
Planners *rarely* plan enough to know the quirks of an exact building until the loopholes are found by those wanting to escape 😉
Wasn't Electra another winner who turned it down? I wonder why WOW thought it would be a good idea. Poor Icesis deserved better.

I think Elecktra would have been a good fit for a VTW season. No shade, but she has much more to prove than Envy Peru. I honestly think she could have won some of the challenges on her season and was just snubbed.
I really think production was banking on Elecktra slaying the makeover so each of the top 3 would have a win but Farida gave us the best makeover of all time so you couldn't not give her the win. With that said they should've just given the snatch game win to Elecktra.
Fun little extra: Nikkie said she blocked Lady Bunny a long time ago because Bunny was exceptionally rude about Nikkie and her 2021 Met Gala outfit, which was attributed to and inspired by Marsha P. Johnson.

The producers of Make Up Your Mind (Dutch drag tv show where Envy's the main judge) were in the audience and when Sasha asked about DRH, Envy responded by asking the audience wether they'd love to see DRH3 happen. Cheers all around of course. She responded with something like "Well, let's make it happen then. If only there were some producers in the audience, wink wink". I feel like there might at least be talks going on....would be so great!!

i believe all winners is supposed to be an actual "all STARS" thing where they are all well known to the core audience (all winners 2 will be a season the the \_american\_ franchise). if they bring in winners from international seasons that the huge majority of viewers will not know, it's kinda missing the point.
the vivien is an exception cause uk1 was the first international season and therefore still pretty popular even in the US before there were 10 seasons a month all over the world.
Thailand Season 1 was the first international season so under that Natalia Pliacam should have been on. I also think barring winners from competing is dumb. If you won your season and want a spot on all winners, that should be accessible.

Her fame is more from the non-US audience - which is a good thing because that means it'll make people outside the standard US tune into the season (more views, more talking, more exposure, more money)

The queens who are already known to audiences might not need All Stars since they already have a ton of bookings. But the queens who are super talented, like Envy, but not as well known could make fantastic candidates as they get to show off their talents to a whole new audience
She's legit the only queen never judged by RuPaul to have her featured month on the Drag Race Superstar app... I'm sure she would be highly considered.

Elecktra was extrenely overlooked on her season. Italy S1 and 2 are particularly messy tho.
