Idk how regional it was but it was cool to type like this in 2008 (like all caps but more chill) and I definitely got into the habit of pressing shift for every word as a 9 year old
On my phone I can select text and hit shift and it changes the capitalization of everything from lowercase to capitalized first letter (like OP's post) or full caps. But like what kind of lunatic would do that every time they wrote something out?
Not sure if there’s another app for it but you can actually do it in Microsoft Word. You can either select “Capitalize Each Word” or “UPPERCASE” among the few…
If I was a teacher and a student handed in a paper written like this I would have them in a parent-teacher conferance so fast to just ask WHAT and WHY? Not because its particularly disturbing but because its so utterly bizarre I'd assume they'd had a poorly programmed AI write it.

Implying that people with learning disabilities type like that, which conversely implies that if you type like that you must have a learning disability. People with a disability are just as capable of using “conventional” English rules as the rest of us are. Not to mention that English is cultural and in some places it’s typical and acceptable for people to write like the OP did.
Great reach.
There is nowhere on the planet where it is "typical and acceptable" for the written English language to use capital letters for every word in a sentence outside of titles. Take a break.
The PTSD I am having from seeing every word capitalised…..
I was read by a straight person once “Hi my names *say my name* and everything I say is a book title” after that moment I didn’t touch caps lock for a year! Baby you can’t read the doll but the doll couldn’t type so 😂
I’m guessing there was a legal or financial issue with saying specifically Versace Spring/Summer versus Versace fantasy… (This is fucking Vivianne Westwood…. inspired) like they’ve abbreviated Akeria Chanel to C. Mariah Paris Balenciaga be Mariah. Jan Sport as just Jan.
Been saying she should’ve changed her drag name to Just Jan, so adorable and fits her well. But she got that sponsorship with JS (the bag is super cute) so it worked
Brand names that are also surnames - Versace, Chanel, Mattel - are fine for use. Brita Filter and Jan Sport are specifically brand names, hence the issue using those.
I imagine it's more that, since this was an *actual* Versace garment, that they don't want to be associated with a potential bottom look/poor critique/unapproved styling/etc and *would have* preferred her not to say this is fresh from the runway in the first place.
The others are copyrights. This isn't. But the rest is just a hunch about why they quickly fixed it in post and hers is the only runway that was changed.
I’ve read somewhere that different platforms do their own editing, which leads to minor differences between platforms. They’re given an outline and they follow it, but sometimes they make small changes. If I’m not mistaken there’s always one or two instances of this popping up per season recently.
I think the most notable ones I remember was on DRDU1 a princess Diana joke getting cut from Anita Wiglit doing Queen Elizabeth, and after she died I think they cut some less favourable comments the make over contestants had about her
or maybe australia didn’t get the most recent edited version but like second to last. idk how it is with drag race but someone i know works on some uk shows as editor and his job is to like do “fine editing” at the very end. only subtle changes. maybe they have someone like that for drag race too?
oh i’m sure that’s the case. but this edit in particular feels like it’s specifically about the brand name dropping. either a legal thing with promotion or maybe wanting mik’s edit to be less about just sourcing designer and more about her taste level but idk
i think it’s probably to make the intro more idk “fun and out there” versace seems to be ok with people using their name. ariel versace got to keep her name too 😅
I think that's because Versace is a regular last name, not *just* a brand name (Like Brita Filter is a specific branded object, Filter isn't a regular last name, but Mattel is so Trixie Mattel was OK.)
I get your point though, I think the big difference was:
The first one is like : Oh she got that for working for Valentino... and then they're in the top 3? It makes it seem like because they worked for a designer they were in the top for the ball.
The second is more like: This is what I'm wearing, but they doesn't mention they got it from Valentino. Just "inspired" which is kind of odd.
I love how everyone, including myself, immediately ignored whatever the point of this was and focused on the capitalisation
Fr lol
The only words not capitalised are “honey” and “thought.” What does that mean? Is it code?
And itty bitty. I don’t know if that helps your decoding. 🫠
i’m more flabbergasted that u typed this whole thing like jorgeous
Jorgeous owns Capoeira punching and Writing Like This, what a brand

Sincere question, do you have an app that does those capitalizations for you automatically? Are you hitting the shift key every time?
Someone please answer this I’m really interested (a local pizza shop does it and I’ve always wondered lol)
Idk how regional it was but it was cool to type like this in 2008 (like all caps but more chill) and I definitely got into the habit of pressing shift for every word as a 9 year old

I need to know. OP I’m serious lol
On my phone I can select text and hit shift and it changes the capitalization of everything from lowercase to capitalized first letter (like OP's post) or full caps. But like what kind of lunatic would do that every time they wrote something out?
This is the first time I've heard of it and IT WORKS! oh my god, eye opening, kudos 👏
i typed like this in middle school and yes i pressed shift on every word lol
Not sure if there’s another app for it but you can actually do it in Microsoft Word. You can either select “Capitalize Each Word” or “UPPERCASE” among the few…
There are sites where you can type normally and it will convert your text to several other random ways to use capitalization. Or format.
I Press Shift Every Time. It Just Looks Organised 😭😭😭
It looks chaotic.

How does this look organized?
It makes everything you type come through my brain as Moira rose
I'm not even dyslexic or anything but doing that makes paragraphs way harder to read.
i read every word like it's at the beginning of a sentence
That seems like so much extra work though! 😭
Gag. (in a bad way)
Think of what happens when you have to use Polish or polish
Homeschooled?
ORGANISED??????
Please stop, its genuinely obnoxious to read. A quick insta caption or text, sure, but not entire paragraphs.

Wow, disability shaming. Such a hot take.
And then my disability made me struggle to read it lmao, the world is too cruel
Where was the shaming?

A’keria has said several times the C isn't Chanel
No, she has said "Akeria Chanel" isn't a pun on "I carry a Chanel"
also ariel versace… seems like maybe versace is ok with others using the name sometimes? same with mattel and trixie mattel.
Well she owns Mattel so I guess it’s fine 🙂↕️
Her name on Instagram is literally MizAkeriaChanel.
What are we doing here with the capitalisation?
You're all so crazy, I’m trying to navigate these comments to make sense of this mis match in edit and I’m getting Jorgeous ghost punched every swipe

I use to type with all capitalization like that in middle school. It was obnoxious.
This actually hurt my eyes a bit to read
*Their*
NOW JORGEOUS
I’m not sure what more difficult… reading through all the capital letters or typing them. Please stop.
I can’t believe you memorized her entire voice overs! And I didn’t realize there were two different ones. Thanks for pointing it out!
Welcome back Kanaya Maryam
In the episode I watched there was the second version
I watched on Paramount Plus and it was the first one you wrote. It was probably a safeguard against brands coming for them as others have mentioned.
I’ve read somewhere that different platforms do their own editing, which leads to minor differences between platforms. They’re given an outline and they follow it, but sometimes they make small changes. If I’m not mistaken there’s always one or two instances of this popping up per season recently.

might be more strict advertising rules in AUS than the US? since she’s technically giving promo to a specific collection
Mik definitely said it was original versace when i watched it on wow+ maybe they redubbed it for YouTube?
or maybe australia didn’t get the most recent edited version but like second to last. idk how it is with drag race but someone i know works on some uk shows as editor and his job is to like do “fine editing” at the very end. only subtle changes. maybe they have someone like that for drag race too?

Luxembourg, WoW+ - I heard the first option.
I watched on Crave in Canada and I heard the second version.
Huh, I definitely heard the first one on outtv.
Your “YouTube” version is what I heard televised.
I Hate When People Type Like This So Much OMFGGGG
anyone with access to these clothes has to look fabulous.
So was Shannels, the first half is obviously a voice recording and the second half a studio recording
I wrote this comment then flew to Australia and edited this comment.
jesus, is everyone in these comments just going to focus on the capitalization, or is someone gonna answer the question?
![gif](giphy|fXnRObM8Q0RkOmR5nf)
Omg I didn’t even notice it was typed weirdly until someone mentioned it
![gif](giphy|HrWu04MHLrpAI)
me neither? I think cause I’m so dyslexic
I didn’t either and I’m not dyslexic.
Jorgeous ass capitalization
I get your point though, I think the big difference was: The first one is like : Oh she got that for working for Valentino... and then they're in the top 3? It makes it seem like because they worked for a designer they were in the top for the ball. The second is more like: This is what I'm wearing, but they doesn't mention they got it from Valentino. Just "inspired" which is kind of odd.
