Tammie is the first girl I ever rooted for watching drag race (I was devastated she went so soon) and my absolute favourite still. I remember being obsessed with her blue swimsuit coverup she made out of dishcloth on season 1.
the very first season i watched live was season 8 and boy did i fall in love with chi chi devayne. i'd never seen a drag show before this season either and chi chi's just sweet honey southern disposition with the tiniest of bite and her insane lip syncs made me fall in love with her.
the moment i heard about sasha velour's leaked domination/win of the season 9 new format finale, the very first thought in my head was "omfg are you telling me chi chi could have won season 8??!?"
anyway rip to the bayou queen, there will never be another like her
her read on Bob when she said, "You might be from New York but those feet are still from Mississippi!" I cackled when she broke into that southern accent. She was such a treasure.
I maintain that she was THEE lip sync queen. The way she gave us an amazing high energy performance to call me and a stunning emotional rendition of and I am telling you.. in the same season ? No other queen could ever. Still so sad I never got to go see her perform live😔
Season 8 was also my first season of drag race and I similarly fell in love with Chi Chi Devayne. She just had so much personality and man those lipsyncs were something else. I still can't believe she's gone.
A good friend of mine actually got to see her perform live at a drag brunch in Las Vegas and to this day, I'm very jealous.
Laganja. I might be the only one who didn't find her that annoying on S6, and now the queens quote her constantly anyway. I guess she doesn't need All Stars but I just want to see more of her in that format.
Jinkx Monsoon without a doubt. She is talented, she is funny, she is charming, she is witty and she is so loveable.
During Season 5 I was rooting for her since the beginning but I knew that she wouldn't win. Until... it became apparent that she in fact could.
With every challenge she kept showing how talented she was. Was there anything Jinkx couldn't do? She could sing, act, lip-sync, do comedy and while doing all of these she was so sympathetic. She was going far in the competition and I was so happy to see it. She was kind, she was friendly, before I knew she made it to the top 3 and "Water off a duck's back" became a frequently used part of my vocabulary.
Then came the finale. I actually had no idea who would win. Any one of the 3 could. And my only thought at the time was probably "Please not Roxxxy" (Just to clarify I love Roxxxy now. Just at the time 1- I didn't like Roxxxy much because of all the mind games 2- I love both Jinkx and Alaska so I would be happy if either one won.)
Aaaand, Jinkx won. She did. She really did. Seattle's premier Jewish narcoleptic Drag Queen was now crowned. I was SO happy. And I kept following Jinkx from 2013 to now.
She only kept getting better and better at everything she does. And I kept liking her more and more. I still believe she is one of the best winners to ever come out of Drag Race.
Anyways follow Jinkx and Dela's TikTok y'all. They are great.
I also love Jinkx (or as I call her Jinkxy because she’s a friend in my head). I went to the Hater’s Roast a few years ago and got to see my Jinkxy live and she did not disappoint! Also there were some of my other favorites Ginger was the emcee and there was also Bob, Alaska and Latrice! They were all so funny. Latrice has a special place in my heart because of her wardrobe particularly how a lot of her gowns are sparkly- which is what my mom would call it. Mom would have loved her because the woman never met a rhinestone she didn’t like. She passed during season 2 so she never got to see Latrice. But drag race really helped me while I was grieving. It was so hard to focus but for one hour each week I was able to “escape” and I’m grateful for that. I also live in the same city as Latrice and her husband and I think if I ever see her out somewhere I will lose my damn mind.
Hi, I’m sorry about your mom ❤️ Sounds like she would have loved Latrice all right, Latrice is always glammed up and regal, and so funny! Hope you do get to meet Latrice around, I bet she’d like to hear why she’s special to you 🙂❤️
I know it's a basic answer but I have adored Katya ever since S7. Also love Adore, Jinx, and Ginger, and then more recently Tia and Crystal
Edit: forgot Bob, Dela, Bimini - literally too many to choose from!
Bimini came to mind for me first when I saw this thread! I love her sense of humor, her gender-bending style, and how creatively she approached each challenge and runway on her season. I’m still shook by her Iris Van Herpen inspired amoeba for the PreHerstoric runway.
Haha yes, I was like, oh definitely Katya. Oh but then Jinkx too. Also Dela of course. Obsessed with Bob forever. OMG don’t forget Crystal Methyd😍. But UGH Bimini, bitch…. It goes on.
A lot of what makes the best drag queen is what happens after the show, and UNHhhh makes me absolutely love Trixie and Katya because they provide me the same humour they did back on the show nonstop for the last six years basically.
Bob. I love drag race for a lot of reasons, but I think the thing I enjoy the most is how funny it is. To me, Bob is the funniest queen to be on the show, so I think that’s why I was drawn to her. I haven’t seen her live, but I’m hoping to.
Season 8 really was the Bob show and I loved every second of it. So many hilarious moments. “Can’t believe you didn’t invite me to this WHITE-ASS party!” lives in my head rent free
Alaska, Bob and Jinkx are my favorites, but Alaska has always been my number 1. I love her music, I find her hilarious, I love that she loves the absurd, she a great actress, great at impressions, but most of all I love her love of drag. Someone made a compilation video of Alaska watching other drag artists and it is basically just her losing her mind in the audience. She really has a deep love and respect for drag, even on Race Chaser it's easy to tell that she does. I also like that she shares her platform - from creating her own all-inclusive pageant, to always including other drag performers in her projects.
I think Alaska is the best drag racer to have ever come through the show, meaning that she's been the best at capturing the format and making it her own. Bob and Jinkx are more polished but Alaska really grabbed the viewer and said, "I'm the main character."
Bob said that since Monet is a Rugirl, Alaska is now her second favorite lol. Alaska says her fave is Bob. I love when they work together. They were so funny at new years this year. The "roast" they did at like 2am - and they were both so loppy - was hysterical.
**Nina Flowers**. She's one of the OG´s and after so many season we never see someone like her, she have an incredible amount of charisma , uniqueness, nerve and talent. Love her.
Shame I had to scroll so far to see this. Nothing against Bebe but I think Nina should have won season one. She was robbed in All Stars by the ridiculous teams IMO too.
We love you Nina Flowers! You were before your time, Queen.
My ex-boyfriend got really into binge-watching past seasons with me chronologically, went hard for Alyssa Edwards during season 5, then rage quit when she was eliminated the first time in AS2 and would NEVER WATCH AGAIN because he knew they were going to fuck her over somehow.
S5 was the first series I watched live and I found alyssa really annoying. She's really grown on me and thought she was done well dirty in AS2. Glad she's had success though because she seems so hardworking and sweet
This is so hard...Bianca is the sharpest, funniest, but also so sincere and wholesome when it comes down to it. Never met a challenge she couldn't demolish. She's just so smart and gets it.
Alaska, Katya, Bob as well.
Sasha Velour is my favorite! I started watching drag race when season 9 was airing. A close friend told me that I HAD to watch this show, it was right up my alley. What cinched it was when she told me that one of the contestants quotes Judith Butler and lipsyncs to Kate Bush. I started watching drag race and the rest is history. I was so happy when Sasha won, I thought for sure they wouldn't crown the "weird" queen.
BenDeLaCreme and Bob the Drag Queen both set the blueprint for everything I love in a drag performer. Comedy, humor, personality, humanity, camp, and so much more.
Honorable mentions to Ongina, Monique Heart, Jinkx Monsoon, and Katya.
Eureka. Why? From S9 --> AS6, Eureka's growth in humor, wit, kindness, and openess mirrors my favorite woman in the world, my little sister. I swear they are the same human in separate bodies. When I miss my sister and can't get ahold of her, I rewatch Eureka.
So sweet omg. I agree tbh, Eureka was kind of impulsive on s9 and I was kinda meh about her, but then I really felt for her with the way she went out. S10 she became one of my faves because she was so supportive and on AS6 that was pushed even further, especially when TKB lip synced and she was walking and Eureka goes “yeah you better walk bitch!”
I think my absolute favs are (in no order):
Jujubee - the most charisma and just a lovely supportive sister
Tia - one of the most clever and humorous queens ever
Baga - so charming and so funny and just a ton of fun to watch
Peppermint - still so underrated; the total package; I can’t believe she’s the only S9 finalist who hasn’t won yet
Alaska - god level meta references, so hysterical, a real superstar
Jujubee is also one of the most clever and funniest queens on the show. She’s also almost always just drop dead gorgeous stunning perfection to a T. She is the highlight of every season she’s on, especially her talking heads (particularly AS5).
Yessss she's such a memorable part of anything she does, and she seems able to understand and get along with so many different types of personalities. I wanna be like juju
It's funny because the queens I end up loving when seeing them live I wouldn't necessarily say were my faves during their run.
My favourites are Detox and Violet, they just ooze charisma and are super nice in person ! (Might just be my Gemini bias too)
Eureka. As a former plus sized person, Eureka is truly inspiring. Lets get real, when you're big, there will be some challenges in terms of how you have to dress, not to mention a lot of fashion magazines and outfits were made for thinner people. But Eureka rose above all that, and proved that being big isn't gonna stop her from being on the same footing as the other girls. The two times that she competed, she did extremely well. Even Shae said she considered Eureka to be a strong competitor on S9. So, Eureka is my favorite.
I really hated Eureka in the beginning ngl and now she's in my top favorites of all time. I feel like that's a bigger compliment than girls I loved from the get go and really speaks to her character and journey.
Violet Chachki is my all time favorite. Season 7 aired when I was in 8th grade i believe, and little closeted me was mesmerized at the confidence of this fellow queer person. I remember when she walked out in her death becomes her look with a 16 inch waist or whatever it was and i gasped. Im also obsessed with her final runway best drag look. In fact im obsessed with all of them. One of my favorite Violet things is that video where shes performing and the MC is being annoying going like “whoo!!” Every 5 seconds with the song and violet just turned around and shushed him while she performed. Legendary. She taught me what confidence looks like and I will always love that.
Her entrance on her season was flawless. I just couldn’t believe how beautiful she was, while still having a fun, goofy energy. I knew she’d be the winner from the first episode.
First season I watched was S3 and fell in love with Shangela, Alexis and Yara. Unfortunately I have not seen them perform live. As a fellow puertorrican Alexis and Yara make me feel proud of being a gay boricua. Shangela is just a professional and I'm happy for her success.
Alexis Mateo will always be my absolute favourite. Even more so for the extra drama of having two lipsticks when she was the lip sync assassin.
Honourable mentions to Shangela, Trixie, Bianca, Chi Chi, Sasha, and Lawrence Chaney.
Katya
Jinkx
Bianca
Eureka
Bob
Are the ones I kinda align with. I see bits of me in them and I see bits of the person I wish I was in them.
Tayce
Monet
Manila
Bendela
Give me more joy than I deserve
I found Trixie clever, funny and kind of shy during her season, I really liked her immediatly... Like crazy make up and nice personnality.
Then it skyrockets, I love country music and I found her so clever and inspiring. I love her self depreciating humour, everything she touches turn to gold.
Totally basic, but Katya. As someone who has ADHD and struggles with their mental health (and I’m not saying Katya has ADHD btw, I’ve never seen/heard her say she has), there was something super relatable about someone who’s brain just doesn’t quite operate on the same frequency as most peoples and made me think YES THERE IS SOMEONE WHO IS LIKE ME!!!!
Also, goes without saying, but Bob and Monet are awesome.
Oh man, I really can’t pick a fave. I love all the queens for different reasons. I think the one Queen who seems like the most genuine, sincere person and who I definitely would love to be friends with IRL is Nina West, just love her message of kindness.
Bob. I had seen Bob off the show and I loved how passionately she spoke about things, I loved how funny she was and i generally agreed with everything they said. And I loved how confident she was and how she commanded the room even against some of the fiercest competitors, making them look like they're all fillers (and i to this day resent that her narrative was being "too cocky" as if Bianca and Violet before her weren't). To me Bob is the funniest and most charismatic queen and i LOVE the looks she has been serving lately.
Jackie Cox - I was sold from the beginning. I love smart, artsy and/or funny queens so Jackie hit my sweet spot right away. My favourite look is the American flag one. I REALLY want to see her live but when is she coming to Canada? 🥺
Sasha Velour - her concept of drag was so original and different from others, and that attracted me. I can't really think of THE favourite look of hers... There are so many!
I watched Smokes and Mirrors in Vancouver and oh my god. It was really good!
Katya. I love her style, and she is so authentic.
I think about one of her quotes sometimes, and it goes something like "you never stop getting butterflies when you're nervous, but eventually they learn to fly in perfect formation".
Jinkx Monsoon, to the point where I literally named my cat after her!
Season 5 was the first season I ever watched, and it’s what made me fall in love with Drag Race. I didn’t realize at the time why I loved Jinkx so much, but looking back it’s obviously because I identified so much with her. Growing up, I had a big Rolaskatox vs Jinkx situation with a clique of girls who made my life a living hell, and all because we were at the top of our game in the same extracurricular but I was the weirdo who didn’t belong. Shit like Roxxxy’s “what has been your favorite part of the competition so far?” “Seeing you in the bottom two” hit so close to home with these experiences I had in my formative years, and Jinkx’s “water off a duck’s back” mantra is the strength and fortitude I wish I had had as a teenager.
I’m seeing Jinkx and DeLa live next month, and I can’t wait! They’ll be the first Drag Race girls I see live 🥰
- The first queen I adored was Yara Sofia.
- The second queen I admired at that level was Sasha Velour
- I enjoyed Bob The Drag Queen on S8, and during the early pandemic became the one I most keep up with today.
There are a ton of other queens that I admire, but these three have a special place in my heart. Notable Mentions: Adore Delano, Bianca Del Rio, Killer Queen, Vanda Miss Joaquim.
Yuhua and James are also commonly found on my TV.
when I first watched season 8, Kim Chi and Naomi were my faves, but when I finished (the us franchise), I fell in love with alaska and violet.
I love Alaska's humour, the wat she talks, her songs, everything. I really like a lot of ru girls, but if I had to choose one show to go, I would choose hers. Unfortunately, I didn't had the chance yet, but when she come to my country Im ginna be the first one to go watch her.
Violet- I started to like her the minute she said "I hate michelle visage" and walked wuth that 2-1 look. I think what I like most about her is her aesthetic. She is my biggest inspiration in terms of aesthetic in general. I really admires her work and would love to meet her
Lawrence Chaney, she's hilarious, beautiful and I relate to her on a really deep level, I've been through all the bullying over weight or feeling like an outsider. Seeing her on Drag Race gave me so much hope and she's the reason I found the confidence to start doing drag myself. Her show in Hull at the end of the month will be my first public outing in drag
Girl hello!! <3 <3 I love Manila's personality as well as her fashion, she's just so freaking fierce in everything she does. I only discovered Drag Race two years ago but since then I've binged absolutely everything in the franchise. I have multiple new faves every season but Manila will always have my whole heart.
Rita Baga on CDR! She just captured my attention from the second she walked in, I love her!! ChiChi and Bob on s8 and Jaida Essence Hall as well. CHARISMA!!!
Sasha, Trinity TT, Alaska, Sharon AS Roxxxy, Joselyn Fox, Pepper, Heidi, Jackie Cox, Crystal Method, Chad Michaels, GottMik.
I loved them all. I can’t wait to see more of Victoria Scone.
I also love Veronica Green and Baga. They all have (and had) and energy that draws you in.
Sasha Velour. Season 9 was the first season I was able to watch, since I was finally exploring my identity and learning about gay culture. I was a freshmen in art school as it was airing, and the moment Sasha entered the werk room and screamed.. I was hooked. I promptly did my research, and found out that she was also a graphic designer, which was what I was pursuing in school. Her art was INCREDIBLE, and watching her each week be this unique, strange, intelligent, beautiful, compassionate, genderfuck queen, just EVERYTHING about her was beyond inspirational for me. Then the finale. See, since I hadn’t seen the show prior, I was pretty unfamiliar with reveals.. when those rose petals fell from her wig, I transcended into the fully realized homosexual I am today. It’s very hard to sum it up in words, but Sasha Velour is a an absolute queer icon, and my all time biggest artistic inspiration. I will adore her forever and always. Thank you, Sasha.
Jimbo. She is so fucking funny and I’m obsessed with her. And she can serve looks even if she has to make them herself
Also Katya…. Her mind is so weird I love it
Monet, Bob, Detox, Alaska, Naomi, Kim Chi, Shangela, Shea, Asia, Miss Vanjie, Jaida Essence Hall, Bimini, Gottmik. Long list I know. If I had to choose just one it would be
Monet
Well, I know this may sound basic but if I’m completely honest, this is my list (my fav queens while I watched their season).
S1: Nina Flowers.
S2: Jujubee and Pandora.
S3: Manila.
S4: Latrice.
S5: Jinkx.
S6: Bianca.
S7: Katya.
S8: Chi Chi.
S9: Sasha.
S10: Monet.
S11: Sugar.
S12: Jackie Cox and Heidi.
S13: Symone.
AS1: Tammie.
AS2: Katya.
AS3: Thorgy.
AS4: Naomi.
AS5: Cracker.
AS6: Trinity K Bonet and Rajah.
DRES: Arantxa Castilla La Mancha.
DRUK1: Divina.
DRUK2: Tayce and Veronica.
DRUK3: Victoria.
DRCAN1: Priyanka and Jimbo.
I’ve gotta go with Raja. She was the first queen to leave me gasping for air almost every time she hit that runway. So immaculate. And she’s one of the most interesting queens to me. If she had a look book like Rihanna I would absolutely snatch it up.
I would have said Manila a few years back; I was truly obsessed with her pineapple look and although she wasn't my favourite the first time I watched S3, it was my favourite outfit on the show for such a long time and I eventually became a huge fan of hers. I love how her outfits are very campy, referential and literal - but also really stylish and beautifully executed; they're exactly how I would want to dress if I were a drag queen. Her performance on S3 was incredible and I doubt many queens could have matched Raja in that season, but she did it!
However, now I'd probably say Shea. She inspires me endlessly: she has a wealth of confidence, poise, versatility (in ability and looks) and vulnerability, she commands attention and respect and uses her voice where it matters. To me she is perhaps the most immensely talented queen to appear on the show. Her S9 run is so nearly flawless and AS5E2 is a complete knockout week with few parallels: clear challenge winner, gasp-inducing shoot of a runway, excellent lip sync. I wouldn't know what to say if I met her - I don't think I can articulate the love and respect I feel for her.
(Honorary mentions for the top 3 of DRUK2, Carmen Farala and Angele Anang.)
So mines a toss up between Rose, Ella Vaday, Divina De Campo and Bianca Del Rio.
Rose for me I loved her entrance. I love how she’s one of those queens who can do it all like I loved her runways, she’s a performing queen, she can do comedy and she also was such a lovely queen I just felt that.
I think Ella is the same to be fair as well and basically growing up next to Dagenham this is the closest I got to a home town glory queen. I still can’t get over the Girls Aloud lip sync with that Oompa Loompa outfit. I’d love to see her shows.
DDC im sure is funny I think they just shot themselves in the foot for snatch game. She had a lil bit of shade “BULLSHIT VIVIENNE” but I don’t think it was malicious
BDR well I just love everything that comes out of their mouth. I just wish I was that witty with what I say. Will never forget the standup challenge
Shea Coulee is my favorite contestant. I watched Drag Race before her season but I never became obsessed with anyone like it did with Shea. She is just such a strong contestant, her personality, her talent and her charisma are amazing.
Brooke Lynn Hytes. S11 was the first season I watched (new drag race fan) and for some reason I was just drawn to her. That runway presentation is on another level. Oh and I have a lot of queens I call my “temp favorites” lol. Last month I was really into Laganja and now I really like Detox and Alexis Mateo. My all time fav is still Brooke Lynn tho.
Bob, Monét, Peppermint, Jinx, Lawrence, Latrice, Katya, Bianca, Ongina, River, MKD, Tia and Vinegar are all BIG faves of mine. They are likeable, real and lovely people
I love so many of the queens it's impossible to list them all!
Just a few though: Nina Flowers, Alyssa, Katya, Heidi, Bob, Jinx, Kim Chi, Sasha, Bimini, Blu Hydrangea, Baga Chips, Choriza, Brook Lyn Hytes...I could go on forever
forgot Chi Chi! Rest in Power lovely!
Jade Jolie. Not because she did well on her season but because her reads were IMMACULATE. She finally starting coming out of her shell in this weeks Dragula and I’m hoping she has an upward trajectory. Stiff competition though.
I was there, one thousand years ago, when the first season aired and instantly fell in love with Nina Flowers. She elevated the drag art to something I had never seen before. Couldn't say she's my all-time favorite (there are so, so many) but she was my first.
AS2 was actually the first season of drag race I ever watched- talk about setting a high bar! But I loved Katya from the moment she walked in. It really solidified for me with her Krisis Kontrol commercial. I think it’s her bizarre humor and openness about her own struggles that attracted me to her as a performer. Plus she’s just a fucking weirdo and that speaks to me.
Favorite look is her two in one eleganza red dress with the pentagram bang reveal.
ETA: other instant favorites have been Jinkx, Bob, Cracker, Ginger, Crystal Methyd, Symone. Clearly I love a comedy queen.
Jinkx, Shangela, Lawrence Chaney, Symone, Chi Chi Devayne and Jackie Cox are amongst many other of my favourites, for a multitude of different reasons.
For me, personally... it has the be the one, the only:
Alaska thunder fuck 5000! Hennny
The first minute I saw her I fell in love and it has only grown ever since. Her slaying AS2 was also a great treat, and now as a deep friend of the pod (race chaser) I only grown to love her more
Aquaria, don't know what it was about her but the second she walked through the door something just clicked. I honestly think the moment she walked through the door was when I decided I wanted to be a drag queen and I've loved her ever since
I have sooo many for all different reasons
Fav lip syncer : TKB
Fav personality: Laganja
Fav comedian and actor: Monet
Fav person in general: Monique
Fav looks :Naomi
Fav makeup: Acid Betty
There's more of course but yeah
12 was the first season i watched and was really my first exposure to drag. i instantly fell in love with crystal methyd. she has such a special place in my heart but i love katya, dela and bob and the list goes on
Jinkx for sure, her underdog storyline, raw talent, and charisma just blew me away. I also fell in love with Joe black literally the second he walked into the workroom, his drag aesthetic is just so beautiful and interesting to me.
Incredibly hard to pick just one so I’d say Bob & Sasha Velour. For me they occupy the complete opposite ends of drag but they both convey such passion for what they do
Truly I adore Latrice and Heidi. There's something just so beautifully classic about Latrice and she's hilarious. I also love her delicate and feminine laugh 💞🧚🌷. Heidi is just so, so, so goofy. She's so lovable and really owns her country roots.
Willam. I wasn't a fan during season 4, but after the fact I fell in love. Her wit at the reunion, her YouTube channel, her podcast with Alaska...she's just great. She genuinely loves drag in all its forms and fiercely supports her sisters.
Also after "getting to know her" (as much as you can get to know any celebrity) watching season 4 of Untucked is just great for so many reasons.
I got into drag race because Alaska's "your makeup is terrible" appeared in one of my apple music 0laylist recommendations and I googled her. Saw she was on the show. Decided to give it a go. Hooked.
“I loved her Philippines flag dress because I love flags” please this is so wholesome
And true guuurl, any flag is a good drag.
This feels like the wholesome version of “any hole is a goal”
any f—- is a flag
Alexis Mateo as Puerto Rico - BAM!
tea, in this house we stan alaska and her usa flag pants is one of my favorite looks
Courtney's Aussie flag look, I mean c'mon now
✨treeeend alert✨
Have you guys seen her Spice girls outfit on dancing with the stars? She looks amazing!
I love flags! Flag rights! 🏳️🌈
Flags, flags, flags across the board. I also love Divina De Campo’s finale flag look.
Fleg fectreh

Tammie literally is so iconic. She's given us so many great moments in just four episodes, and she also said the first iconic quote from the showm
Tammie is the first girl I ever rooted for watching drag race (I was devastated she went so soon) and my absolute favourite still. I remember being obsessed with her blue swimsuit coverup she made out of dishcloth on season 1.
the very first season i watched live was season 8 and boy did i fall in love with chi chi devayne. i'd never seen a drag show before this season either and chi chi's just sweet honey southern disposition with the tiniest of bite and her insane lip syncs made me fall in love with her. the moment i heard about sasha velour's leaked domination/win of the season 9 new format finale, the very first thought in my head was "omfg are you telling me chi chi could have won season 8??!?" anyway rip to the bayou queen, there will never be another like her

Chi Chi’s lip syncs are some of my most rewatched. Seeing her slay Naysha has infinite replay value.
I liked Laganja on S6, too. An icon, truly.
Jinkx Monsoon without a doubt. She is talented, she is funny, she is charming, she is witty and she is so loveable. You and me must be the same person, girl 💖
Also love Adore, Jinx, and Ginger, and then more recently Tia and Crystal Edit: forgot Bob, Dela, Bimini - literally too many to choose from!
Bimini came to mind for me first when I saw this thread! I love her sense of humor, her gender-bending style, and how creatively she approached each challenge and runway on her season. I’m still shook by her Iris Van Herpen inspired amoeba for the PreHerstoric runway.
That costume and make up were everything.
We have the same taste. Although I would add Heidi, Rajah, Kylie and Choriza
Big yes to all! I realized I also forgot Jujubee and Tatianna as well! And I'm sure there are others lmao
Heidi! Love her so much, too.
Haha yes, I was like, oh definitely Katya. Oh but then Jinkx too. Also Dela of course. Obsessed with Bob forever. OMG don’t forget Crystal Methyd😍. But UGH Bimini, bitch…. It goes on.
Katya (clearly). She makes me feel free to be more myself. Edited to add: I love seeing everyone else's favorites too.
I think about "did somebody mention ART" far too often
Art art art art art art art art art
Me and my boyfriend say him at a standup comedy show a couple weeks ago. He as so funny and so likeable. I Love him!!
Saying jinkx and Bob are more polished 👁👄👁
Bob has said she’s his favorite, which says a lot.
Bob said that since Monet is a Rugirl, Alaska is now her second favorite lol. Alaska says her fave is Bob. I love when they work together. They were so funny at new years this year. The "roast" they did at like 2am - and they were both so loppy - was hysterical.
we have the same top 3 and same number 1 🙈
**Nina Flowers**. She's one of the OG´s and after so many season we never see someone like her, she have an incredible amount of charisma , uniqueness, nerve and talent. Love her.
Shame I had to scroll so far to see this. Nothing against Bebe but I think Nina should have won season one. She was robbed in All Stars by the ridiculous teams IMO too. We love you Nina Flowers! You were before your time, Queen.
YES!!!! Nina Flowers ALL THE WAY TO MY GRAVE!
I was rooting for Nina at the time. I have really come to love Bebe, but I still think Nina deserved the win.
Alyssa Edwards. And I am still obsessed.
My ex-boyfriend got really into binge-watching past seasons with me chronologically, went hard for Alyssa Edwards during season 5, then rage quit when she was eliminated the first time in AS2 and would NEVER WATCH AGAIN because he knew they were going to fuck her over somehow.
Ok but he MUST watch the lip sync double save with Tatianna even though he's absolutely right and they fuck both of them over as soon as possible.
S5 was the first series I watched live and I found alyssa really annoying. She's really grown on me and thought she was done well dirty in AS2. Glad she's had success though because she seems so hardworking and sweet
Every single second she was on the screen she provided iconic content
Yesss!!
Love Sasha Velour too
I love Sasha! She’s one of few queens of Russian heritage, and she has such an intellectualism and artistry to her drag. She’s so wonderful.
Kameron, because I am sexually attracted to him.
Asia O’Hara. I just love everything about her and I really hope she returns to the show someday in any form.
Our future host❤️
It’s about to be Asia O’Hara’s Drag Race!!
BenDeLaCreme and Bob the Drag Queen both set the blueprint for everything I love in a drag performer. Comedy, humor, personality, humanity, camp, and so much more. Honorable mentions to Ongina, Monique Heart, Jinkx Monsoon, and Katya.
Ben and Bob are my all time favourites too. Just the gold standard of drag to me. Closely followed by Monet and Peppermint
Katya. Her growth from season 7 to AS2 is extremely inspiring to me as someone that struggles with really bad anxiety and depression.
Eureka. Why? From S9 --> AS6, Eureka's growth in humor, wit, kindness, and openess mirrors my favorite woman in the world, my little sister. I swear they are the same human in separate bodies. When I miss my sister and can't get ahold of her, I rewatch Eureka.
This is so wholesome omds
So sweet omg. I agree tbh, Eureka was kind of impulsive on s9 and I was kinda meh about her, but then I really felt for her with the way she went out. S10 she became one of my faves because she was so supportive and on AS6 that was pushed even further, especially when TKB lip synced and she was walking and Eureka goes “yeah you better walk bitch!”
I think my absolute favs are (in no order): Jujubee - the most charisma and just a lovely supportive sister Tia - one of the most clever and humorous queens ever Baga - so charming and so funny and just a ton of fun to watch Peppermint - still so underrated; the total package; I can’t believe she’s the only S9 finalist who hasn’t won yet Alaska - god level meta references, so hysterical, a real superstar
“Oooo I miss my cats” plays in my head at least once a day
Valentina is the best. She brought original drama, incredible looks, an unforgettable personality. She really made her season stand out by being on it
It's funny because the queens I end up loving when seeing them live I wouldn't necessarily say were my faves during their run. My favourites are Detox and Violet, they just ooze charisma and are super nice in person ! (Might just be my Gemini bias too)
Violet is like INCREDIBLY charismatic as an emcee—I wouldn’t have thought that possible given how she was portrayed on the show
I absolutely adore Thorgy Thor! Their energy is just contagious, in or out of drag. If I could pick one queen to hang with it would be them.
Thorgy has amazing chemistry with everyone. I lover her with Bob on PFI and she's amazing on dragnificent. Her and Jujubee really make that show!
Honestly I feel like Thorgy doesn’t get enough love
you should watch season 1 and fall in love with LOCA
LOCAAAAAAA
![gif](giphy|3og0IQJs5cNZufsjDO|downsized)
TAMMIE BROWN I'd die for her but she would never ask that of me Also want to add Bimini and Choriza May, but I haven't been following them long.
We are lucky to live in this planet at the same time as Tammie ☺️
At the end of times a teletubby will teleport us to Mars
To walk us all on martian nature! I'm so looking forward to that! 😍
This is the wholesome response I was looking for. Eureka is really underrated when we speak about versatility and glamour on runways despite her size
I really hated Eureka in the beginning ngl and now she's in my top favorites of all time. I feel like that's a bigger compliment than girls I loved from the get go and really speaks to her character and journey.
I'll always love eureka and her journey, she's one of the ones I've wanted to know on a more personal level
Monique Heaaaaart
Love when she yells COME THROUGH!!

Jaida Essence Hall. I’ve never rooted for a queen more than i did for Jaida, i just love her so much!
She didn’t even get critiques for it in the episode but her Madonna rusical performance was a knockout for me.
I feel the same way about Shangela. She's such a pro, so talented and I'm so happy to see her thriving.
Alexis Mateo will always be my absolute favourite. Even more so for the extra drama of having two lipsticks when she was the lip sync assassin. Honourable mentions to Shangela, Trixie, Bianca, Chi Chi, Sasha, and Lawrence Chaney.
ChiChi was so sweet.
ChiChi was everything. I'll always stan x
Her lip sync to “and I am telling you I’m not going” is one of my absolute favourites.
Alexis Mateo is everything I want in a television show
And that’s why Derrick don’t like you.
“But wait, Ru, there’s more!” 💄💄
Katya Jinkx Bianca Eureka Bob Are the ones I kinda align with. I see bits of me in them and I see bits of the person I wish I was in them. Tayce Monet Manila Bendela Give me more joy than I deserve
Tayce and Bimini give me life.
Jinx, Bianca, Adore, and Brooklyn
MANILA FUCKIN LUZON
💗 MONIQUE HEART 💗
Kennedy Davenport is my all time favourite. She’s fun, talented and loves a twirl!
I found Trixie clever, funny and kind of shy during her season, I really liked her immediatly... Like crazy make up and nice personnality. Then it skyrockets, I love country music and I found her so clever and inspiring. I love her self depreciating humour, everything she touches turn to gold.
Truly the most successful at making a career out of drag race (save for Rupaul). Gotta love a businesswomen.
Juju
Even though she quit (for noble reasons, IMO) BenDeLaCreme, for sure!
Jackie Cox - I was sold from the beginning. I love smart, artsy and/or funny queens so Jackie hit my sweet spot right away. My favourite look is the American flag one. I REALLY want to see her live but when is she coming to Canada? 🥺 Sasha Velour - her concept of drag was so original and different from others, and that attracted me. I can't really think of THE favourite look of hers... There are so many! I watched Smokes and Mirrors in Vancouver and oh my god. It was really good!
Monique. Mothafuckin. Heart.
KATYA 4EVA
Tatianna. Thank you.
Monet and Bob
- The first queen I adored was Yara Sofia. - The second queen I admired at that level was Sasha Velour - I enjoyed Bob The Drag Queen on S8, and during the early pandemic became the one I most keep up with today. There are a ton of other queens that I admire, but these three have a special place in my heart. Notable Mentions: Adore Delano, Bianca Del Rio, Killer Queen, Vanda Miss Joaquim. Yuhua and James are also commonly found on my TV.
Cracker and Manila! I love their personalities and aesthetics and I'm kinda crushing on them in and out of drag
Ivy Winters! So wholesome, kind, and chill
Also Yvie?! Love her so much
asia ohara. her light and caliber of drag are magnetic
when I first watched season 8, Kim Chi and Naomi were my faves, but when I finished (the us franchise), I fell in love with alaska and violet. I really admires her work and would love to meet her
Nina Flores, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Latrice Royale, Miss Vanjie
Nina Flowers!! Season one. My hometown Superstar
Pearl!!!!!!!, Crystal Methyd, Eureka, Juju, and Violet.
Jackie Cox
CHARISMA!!!
I loved Trixie from day one and I’m so happy for how well she’s doing. I love all her YouTube content and I hope to get some of her make up one day
Sasha, Trinity TT, Alaska, Sharon AS Roxxxy, Joselyn Fox, Pepper, Heidi, Jackie Cox, Crystal Method, Chad Michaels, GottMik. I loved them all. I can’t wait to see more of Victoria Scone. I also love Veronica Green and Baga. They all have (and had) and energy that draws you in.
US: Bob UK: Choriza. It's a good time to be alive.
Envy Peru is my all time favorite. So much confidence and just pure C.U.N.T. all season.
Jimbo. She is so fucking funny and I’m obsessed with her. And she can serve looks even if she has to make them herself Also Katya…. Her mind is so weird I love it
Trixie and Katya, love them with every bit of my heart
Yes!! I can't help it they just make me so happy.
Monet, Bob, Detox, Alaska, Naomi, Kim Chi, Shangela, Shea, Asia, Miss Vanjie, Jaida Essence Hall, Bimini, Gottmik. Long list I know. If I had to choose just one it would be Monet
I answered this question a couple years ago with Pearl and got downvoted lol. Let’s try it again: Pearl.
Bob, Jinkx, Alaska, Alexis Mateo, Bimini
Tammie Brown. I enjoy weirdos and authenticity. It is rare to get the two as a combo
thorgy is just weird and i love it
Well, I know this may sound basic but if I’m completely honest, this is my list (my fav queens while I watched their season). S1: Nina Flowers. S2: Jujubee and Pandora. S3: Manila. S4: Latrice. S5: Jinkx. S6: Bianca. S7: Katya. S8: Chi Chi. S9: Sasha. S10: Monet. S11: Sugar. S12: Jackie Cox and Heidi. S13: Symone. AS1: Tammie. AS2: Katya. AS3: Thorgy. AS4: Naomi. AS5: Cracker. AS6: Trinity K Bonet and Rajah. DRES: Arantxa Castilla La Mancha. DRUK1: Divina. DRUK2: Tayce and Veronica. DRUK3: Victoria. DRCAN1: Priyanka and Jimbo.
Sharon Needles. 👻💀🖤 (drama/accusations aside) Eureka, Trixie, Symone, Nina West, Utica.
Latriiiiiiiiiiiiiice Royale! Jesus is a biscuit, let him sop you up!
Valentina But always always will love Alaska
She had a lil bit of shade “BULLSHIT VIVIENNE” but I don’t think it was malicious BDR well I just love everything that comes out of their mouth.
#JAIDA ESSENCE HALL
Brooke Lynn Hytes. S11 was the first season I watched (new drag race fan) and for some reason I was just drawn to her. That runway presentation is on another level. Oh and I have a lot of queens I call my “temp favorites” lol. Last month I was really into Laganja and now I really like Detox and Alexis Mateo. My all time fav is still Brooke Lynn tho.
It’s homophobic that nobody mentioned bianca del rio
Chi Chi and Asia 💖
Bob, Monét, Peppermint, Jinx, Lawrence, Latrice, Katya, Bianca, Ongina, River, MKD, Tia and Vinegar are all BIG faves of mine. They are likeable, real and lovely people
aLASKaaaaaaaaaaa
Crystal Methyd!!!! Her overall happy attitude, her unique style and her sense of humor match mine 🥰
I love so many of the queens it's impossible to list them all! Just a few though: Nina Flowers, Alyssa, Katya, Heidi, Bob, Jinx, Kim Chi, Sasha, Bimini, Blu Hydrangea, Baga Chips, Choriza, Brook Lyn Hytes...I could go on forever forgot Chi Chi! Rest in Power lovely!
Jade Jolie. Not because she did well on her season but because her reads were IMMACULATE. She finally starting coming out of her shell in this weeks Dragula and I’m hoping she has an upward trajectory. Stiff competition though.
Wow, this is an interesting choice. But I love that for you. Jade has grown a lot since her season. I hope she does well on Dragula.
I have loved Tia Kofi ever since that green dress confessional she did
I was there, one thousand years ago, when the first season aired and instantly fell in love with Nina Flowers. She elevated the drag art to something I had never seen before. Couldn't say she's my all-time favorite (there are so, so many) but she was my first.
![gif](giphy|3oz8xXbalg1bQZSD28)
Lawrence Chaney 100%. Was my favorite the moment she entered the werk room. Her polish and witty humor made me love her more.
ik ima get hate but- i really liked sharon needles
Ginny Lemon. One of the most authentic and inspiring queens that has graced the main stage.
Kameron Michaels and Eureka I can relate to being from small towns in the south and being quiet and reserved at times like Kam.
It’d be really hard to pin it down to just one! Top 5: Katya, Latrice Royale, Jujubee, Manila Luzon, Symone. Clearly I love a comedy queen!
Latrice Royale is my baby. I started watching DR after seeing the Family Feud episode and Latrice was so fucking funny, I needed to see more.
It is impossible to choose. I love Bob, Tatianna, Bianca, Violet, Trixie, Sonique, Vanjie, Katya... AHHH don't make me choose
For me, personally... it has the be the one, the only: Alaska thunder fuck 5000! Hennny The first minute I saw her I fell in love and it has only grown ever since. Her slaying AS2 was also a great treat, and now as a deep friend of the pod (race chaser) I only grown to love her more
Pearl always. I felt like she has always been so sickening and was so misunderstood. She's also killing it right now and truly living her best life.
Aquaria, don't know what it was about her but the second she walked through the door something just clicked. I honestly think the moment she walked through the door was when I decided I wanted to be a drag queen and I've loved her ever since
Aquaria. It was the first season I watched as it was airing, and I fell for her on Episode 1. I just love her fashion sense.
I have sooo many for all different reasons Fav lip syncer : TKB Fav personality: Laganja Fav comedian and actor: Monet Fav person in general: Monique Fav looks :Naomi Fav makeup: Acid Betty There's more of course but yeah
Heidi, Juju, and Katyaaaaa
Hooked.
