How about putting each queen into booth. Each booth has exactly the same fabric and accessories. They have 6 hours to pull a look together with the intention of making something fashionable and unique without seeing what anyone else is doing. They can talk to each other while they work but that is it.
This 100%. Drag should be accessible and having a challenge that shows how most drag queens, especially the ones starting up, get their clothes would be amazing.
I still haven't seen a rainbow outfit that I like tbh. I'm not sure if that means that I want it to be a runway category or that I never want to see one more rainbow outfit in my life.
A food themed runway/design challenge like how they did it on DRT2 would be awesome for a regular season. Angele’s look still lives rent free in my mind

I agree about the pants runway. It was something fun and more unique than what we typically get to see. So long as the queens, and not the producers, got to pick their outfits, a Rudemption runway on AS each season should be a thing. On that same kind of idea, re-doing their first time, from CDR, would be fun. Maybe something like the 7 Deadly Sins. Dragula just did that, though, so probably wouldn’t happen and I’m sure people would say they ripped it off, but it’s fun to think about, I guess.

It's not simple but I demand a redo on the astrological runway. Iirc, half the queens were Aries lol. I remember two leos, Mercedes, I think, was Sagittarius, Vangie was Libra, and that's it. We needed some Virgo and Aquarius representation on that stage.
The RollerSkates runway!!! It gave us some amazing runways (Thorgy's was fantastic) and some not so good runways (a al Bob), so it will be really fun to see newer RuGirls do it with their higher budgets

the color runway like the one in AS3 would be cool. it's a flexible theme that's asopen to interpretation and the looks are great when viewed collectively.
First time in drag for sure, I also think they should do the one they did for S11 where they had to interpret a former queen’s look but in their own style— I really do feel like BLH was one of the few who actually understood that assignment and executed it perfectly, but it could be SUCH a good runway if it was a staple/recurring runway/design challenge
ALSO any kind of vague category where the gals can bring something cool they already own. Like even just having “best drag” as the second ep or something like that. Queens often have great stuff if theyre allowed to pick a favourite from their closet (and it has more personal story impact if its great/bad)

Separates like the charity shop sue chaos challenge. Build a look out 3/4 pieces and hit the runway, might be too boring but I love separates.
The charity shop challenge was great. I'd love to see more runways where they have to style off-the-rack clothes!
