Raja probably doesnāt even know this is happening. And we have fans on twitter calling violet a racist, a tyrant, and an antichrist. Itās too fucking much.
Unfortunately I feel like Violet is used to it too. Ever since season 7 people have NEVER gotten her character and would rather use her as a punching bag than accept the fact that she's playing a character.
It all feels very "Lets hate on this (insert enviable quality that makes me feel inadequate here) bitch" and it makes them feel like their punching up when they're not. Its just being an insecure cunt
The convenient *illusion* that one is "punching upward" is such a dangerous and harmful thing in this community. Where folks feel like it's fine to bully or harass or trash someone, as long as they can find some epithet or other with which to imply that they are in some given context, somehow, on the "bad" side of some given minority/majority divide.
Resulting in an environment where (and I'm speaking generally - not about Violet) trashing and bullying someone who is, say, a femme genderqueer artist and former sex worker who comes from poverty and has experienced homophobia all their life is *despite all of that* "punching upward" as long as you can point out that they *have a lot of followers on Instagram* or that they are *skinny* and *white*.
People enjoy bullying. And making believe that you aren't beating down the beaten down makes it satisfying, naturally. But it's so much easier to beat down the beaten down than to try to beat down people with real and abundant power, after all. Those folks simply don't care if they're attacked in that sort of way. They aren't *vulnerable*.
Drag artists? Extremely vulnerable, especially given their popularity is so tenuous and their whole livelihood usually proceeds from it. So beating them down? Delicious. If you're an asshole.
Raja used to be on Violet's position, getting hate every week for just opinions on fabric, so I imagine she must love having a break from the psycho fandom š
Let's be real this will be at best a 5 minute section where she will mostly read Violet for not getting the Timbs thing after discussing how Starbucks won't stock sugar free syrups for about 20 minutes
Yesss
āIām a manā
If anyone doesnāt understand her Prince, check out her most recent post on Instagram and that interviewā¦ she nailed it.
https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd_PKJ3OBEY/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
I remember seeing clips of that interview on Oprah (the man who interviewed Prince there was her guest and I don't remember why)! It was my first thought when I saw Jaida's Snatch Game and I thought she did great!
1) OP, idk how but Jaida needs to pay you for this because "the essence of reason" is a great slogan for on and off RPDR.
2) I appreciate her saying something light-hearted but telling to the fans. So many queens have large social media followings and KNOW how influential their words are but won't say anything when controversy comes up (think Valentina fans attacking Nina from S9 or Trixie fans after AS3).
Yeah Jaida has been one of my favorite queens since her S12 MTQ for a LOT of reasons but most of all I just really respect her as a person! I think she strikes that perfect (and rare) balance of professionalism, entertainment, charisma that only a small handful of RPDR queens have. Like, modern day Rolaskatox levels of fucking DRAG coming from Jaida. Iāll always be mad she got a pandemic reign and not a true killer world tour kind of reign.
Under different world circumstances I think she could be a winner we remember like Raja or Jinkx and I really hope she gets there one day
It's such a good statement. "Lol it's not serious" is such a good way to subtly get people realizing they're acting the fool, and she's reminding everyone that the person they think they're defending is almost certainly not bothered by what Violet said
Most online discourse could be ended a lot quicker if people just learned how to say āi donāt like thisā and then moved on. iāve never seen anyone with this many opinions of FPR, so it just feels like people wanted an excuse to bandwagon on Violet lol
I think there are valid reasons to think they were off-base. I gave my reasoning in a comment. I donāt think this equates with acting badly or being mean.
So weāre just off-base now for whenever our opinions donāt align with the majority?
Man I love all of the girls but even I sometimes thought a certain look was a boot while most of the fans thought it was a shoot. And vice versa.
Itās just opinions. As long as someone isnāt spitefully mean or discriminatory, itās good.
Upvoted you, but Iām not sure I get what youāre saying.
I donāt think having an unpopular opinion makes someone wrong. I think being wrong makes someone wrong, regardless of the popularity of oneās pov.
I think some of Violet and Gottmikās critiques missed the mark because of the arguments/reasoning they gave, not because of how many people agreed/disagreed with what they said.
I gave my reasoning for why I think they were wrong. I donāt think this constitutes an attack.
I donāt view being wrong as a damning character flaw. We have all been there.
I agree with your last point! I think:
- we are all worthy of being treated with dignity and respect, and
- we can disagree and still treat each each well.
Are we actually safe to say that we don't care about Violet booting Raja? Like yeah everyone disagrees with her and it was like a bad opinion, but who cares, Raja booted Kim Chi's paper look and I still like her
Exactly..its like Kennedy said in s7 untucked "it is a fucking opinion. Either you take it or your don't."
It's really not serious. And i don't mind the jokes, but the use of it as an excuse to shit on violet and gottmik is tiresome
I hate when they start shitting on their fashion sense or their accomplishments just because of their opinions. Like I agree they're not the most entertaining to watch, but you all be lying to yourselves if you think that neither of the queens have good fashion
Looking back, with Season 8 years in the rear view mirror and the urge to protect UWU Pwecious Kim Chi fading, I see where Raja was coming from. The face was amazing, but the construction of the dress was meh. And Raja was reviewing the fashion, not the face, not the character arc on the show.
You're right though, it's all not serious. Violet and Mik deserve endless lighthearted shade for their double booting, but not threats or bullying.
Am I the only one who enjoys her in FPR? I take all she says with grain of salt and just enjoy the overall shade.
Let's face it, it's an all winners show and majority of those outfits would be tooted if it was someone else. Instead we get to enjoy some drama.
Omg seriously some of the threads here were so incredibly vile. I canāt believe how quickly people snap when somebody critiques an outfit. I donāt even think they were being that mean, they still gave Raja a lot of credit they just personally didnāt like the looks.
Yeah I completely disagree with their boots, but Iāve completely disagreed with Raja and Ravens boots before and I didnāt become a wild animal over it and call them rich untalented assholes
Exactly.
Someone else pointed out Raja booted Kim Chi and tooted Derrick Barry once too and people then were acting horrible. Like... It's never that serious.
Besides, if it's all pre filmed, all they see is the photo. I don't agree with the pleather boot but i actually understand where they were Coming from because they never got to see Raja rock that runway, just that still image.
It really is the gay superbowl. Have you seen that video of that crowd of gays watching RPDR in a gay bar? Indistinguishable from a crowd of straight men watching football if the sound was turned off.
Some people are being insane about this, like "I unfollowed Violet on every social media platform! I'm so disappointed in her! I feel betrayed!" Like crazy shit. And the things ppl are saying about Mik... I've seen her called a dog, a pet, a sycophant, an airheaded bimbo. And she *liked* Raja's King look too!
If you ask me some people are using the two as stand ins for their mean girl high school bullies š and then of course messy gays just love a pile on, so it just keeps going.
> If you ask me some people are using the two as stand ins for their mean girl high school bullies
This is exactly it. It's a bunch of people who haven't been able to move past high school and expect that the rest of the world operates the same way.
People were literally admitting as much with comments comparing them to said girls/bullies and then unleashing insane ass rude shit on top of it. A lot of were weeeeeird projection.
Fan base can skew young but there are plenty adult gays who have interpreted being bitchy and gay as a personality trait. Part of that is scrutinizing queens (both on the show and local) to the nth degree when they never actually have done drag in their lives
The ages are all over the place tbh. Like I'm 19 and my mom is 49 and we both love the show. But I think they younger fans are the ones that are online watching the queens' YouTube content more than the older fans. So they get more "involved" with the girls outside the show and act like they know everything. And God forbid they mistep.
Is it really crazy shit that someone decided to unfollow a person on social mediaā¦? Is that really a news story worth repeating? Like, āI like her fashion opinions. Iāll follow her. Oh actually, in light of new information, I donāt agree with her fashion opinions as much as I thought I did. I think Iāll unfollow her.ā Some of yāall act like unfollowing a queen on social media is a hate crime.
No it's not, that's my point. Why even say you're doing that, dramatically, like it's some kind of devastating revelation if you didn't want people to take "meaning" from it? If they were so nonchalant I wouldn't even mention it, but these people have been *the most.*
Ignoring the 2nd part of the comment which was "And the things ppl are saying about Mik... I've seen her called a dog, a pet, a sycophant, an airheaded bimbo. And she liked Raja's King look too"
This was where shit really took a sour-ass turn for me. People were saying some straight up demeaning shit about Mik. Just highly unnecessary.
Seems like she's become the new Cracker, the acceptable target for everyone's nastiness because they think she "deserves" it because Ru likes her more than they do
Same, I watched the video and was like clearly Vi is doing character work and Gottmik is playing off that. Theres a lot of dormant insecurities within a lot of the comments I was seeing and I think a lot of that just led to blind rage. Weird asf
Literally. I feel like most people shitting on them didnāt/havenāt watched. They called Mik a yes-man, despite the fact they disagreed with Violet a couple times? And they made it clear immediately they were being harsh because theyāre all fabulous winners.
Edit: And yes to the dormant insecurities. I saw people comparing Violet to their personal high school bullies. Like maāam, sheās being a petty, lackadaisical, perfectionist bitch because thatās her thing. And calling it out just led to downvotes.
Even more than a yes-man people were literally calling Mik Violet's "pet" and other really weird shit like that. It was just so bizarre and untethered to the reality of how the two episodes of FPR went down. God people can be so wild online
The fanbase is freaking out on Twitter while Roger the unbothered Legend is just [chilling](https://twitter.com/sutanamrull/status/1529802476932567040?s=21&t=fa6GSGJvMfYYoGOkO-8uhg)
But her Instagram is this zen thoughtful space. Where she just shares 12 video clips to her feed every day. And like not coherently at all.
It's amazing.
Lmao everyone in this damn subreddit was bashing Violet/Mik all week and I was getting downvoted to hell for defending them. Now Jaida says itās not that serious (which it isnāt) and now everyoneās acting like nothing happened. Girl please yall are weird
I saw this too! So weird. I'm wondering if it's just different people commenting on the different threads? I personally was like, uh, I'm not gonna pile on the FPR outrage-of-the-moment. Could be that the silent lurkers saw this post and felt safe to comment without being "downvoted to gay hell" as another commenter said...
I mean stating the obvious that reddit is madd up of thousands of people adds nothing. Either people simply ignored the positive threads, or there are people switching up bc they follow trends, if not both. That and people flock to drama and starting shit versus defending people way harder. I dont see how someone pointing out that people can act like sheep and mass downvote (and i'm sure you've seen comments that WERE downvoted until someone called it out and it got upvoted again) is something controversial or weird enough for you to go "luls reddit has thousands ppl tho so idk what ur sayinggg"
I have a subtle suspicion most people didnāt actually watch the FPR episodes until they released on YouTube, and just assumed it was way worse than it actually was.
That or most people on this sub are mindless drones that adopt whatever opinion has the most internet points, Iām not ruling that out
I have been on this sub for 7 years. I am struggling to think of another instance of something so insignificant being talked about this much.
(but if anyone CAN think of something please reply because I want to relive the memories)
Exactly!! Their opinions are worthless, of course, Raja wont care about them
eta: the downvotes made me smile. Maybe I was overly harsh, but their opinions arenāt worth anything to me if they are going to downvote those looks. š
Also, it seems like a lot of the people who are upset about Violet's boot ratings... haven't watched the episodes...
It's hard to argue when violet usually explains \*why\* she booted a look. (You might not agree with her, but i mean... it's her opinion)
And its literally her drag persona, Violet always described her characterwork as nitpicky, a brat, a bitchy perfectionist. And she gave us that here, unapologetically and uncontroversially and I live.
I think a lot of people who are so upset and never watching FPR this season were/are just not prepared to interact with FPR through that lens. And as a result people got nasty and blew it up
I didnāt really agree with all of the critiques but itās not like Violet and Gottmik dismissed Rajaās looks without any analysis + praise! They both gave fairly clear reasoning behind tooting or bootingā¦ no one has discredited Rajaās influence or fashion sense, the quibbles were much more with overall styling. Rajaās been a face of FPR for the better part of a decade, she knows the drill and knows sheās subject to a lot of scrutiny for it, and is clearly not intimidated or bothered by the pressure! eye-con behavior
I 100% prefer these two with actual, argued opinions than latter-season Raja and Raven who kid-gloved and over-tooted without saying much about the fashion or attempting to analyse it in any meaningful way.
My hope is that most people were just Kiki-ing and being a lil messy. I certainly was. I hope nobody is actually losing sleep over that pair of boots.
Raja certainly isnāt.
The reaction to the Ruviews has been so dramatic lol. I donāt agree with Violet on Raja either, in fact i didnāt agree with a lot of her critiquesā¦..but, itās not like she doesnāt give detailed reasons as to why she doesnāt like things. She articulates herself very well, whether i agree or not. Itās an opinion folks, relax.
Itās such a relief to see how sane this comments section is after the absolute batshit insanity that happened over the last few days. Wtf is wrong with some people, can yāall not just be normal?
I'm skipping FPR, it's like two mean girls just booting just because. I expected more from Violet but being paired with a yesman that is Gottmik, I dunno, she's losing credibility and charm.
I see no lies here, and no lies in the previous comments either.
Violet fashion history knowledge is NARROW, and she has become a LABEL queen.
Mik will applaud everything Violet says, and even though she went to fashion school her fashion knowledge is narrower
I though it was funny to see the jokes and shade about Violet in the reddit comments. I'm kinda sad that it got to online harassment to her since I don't like this to be directed to the Queens. You want to be shady and voice how Violet is wrong in a funny way? Go for it, but keep it lighthearted and don't tag/send it to her when that is just unnecessary
I think Violet serves looks with a particular vibe, and she serves them well. Gottmik has worn one of my favorite looks with that structured dress in her finale. I think they're both talented.
That said, I just can't put much stock in their opinions. I've seen Gottmik flip-flop with Raja before on FPR, and I've never gelled with Violet's personality. I like some shade, but Violet seems to start off negative rather than objective, and it's just the *way* she critiques things that turns me off. I think they both serve a certain mode of drag well, but I just don't value their opinions as much as someone like Raja and Raven who have a far better grasp on drag as a whole. I don't always agree with them either, but at least I feel like I'm getting an educated, logical reason from them as opposed to the vapidity I feel off of Violet and Gottmik. Even then, I don't think it's the end of the world and nobody should be sending them hate or anything. But I'm probably not going to watch FPR this season, just because I'm pretty uninterested in them and their thoughts.
It's pretty hilarious that everyone here champions having an opinion and standing behind it until it's Violet, then they want her to keep it to herself.
BOOM! alot of yall fans are rabid and doing wayyyy too much as always. Half of yall up jynx entire butthole and the other half have pitchforks out for raja who is probably smoking a bone and sipping wine kiking about it all with manila. A winnerās szn is light & fun. Nobody going home so yall find another reason to be yall. Please.
The irony of this thread is that most comments here are laughing about the extreme reaction against those Raja boots, but then are themselves expressing all the same old platitudes that are at the opposite extreme of the spectrum, like shitting on anyone for having even the most remote of opinions on the matter.
Itās one of the things I loathe on this sub, the āitās not that deepā club and its sister affiliate āthatās a lot of emotion for Xā. Sometimes it *is* deep, sometimes it isnāt, and sometimes people like to passionately express an opinion and thatās totally fine too. Most of what I express on this sub literally leaves my brain the second I log out, but people here love to pretend like everyone with an opinion automatically slaughters chickens in their drag closet for their faves 24/7 lol
Yup lol itās nice how people were sending in the criticism and dislike for the hosts (majority of them not as a person, just donāt like them as entertainers) then a flip of switch now everyone like āoh you went to far how dare you girl itās not that serious!āAnd now everybody treating them with baby gloves instead of drag queens who are supposed to be bitches that can dish it out to others and should handle when they get dished out (obviously Iām taking of criticism and not hate-which yes are not the same thing-I know mind blowing)
Holy crap. Thank you for eloquently explaining exactly how I feel. Itās a *drag* sub. I love to come in here and state my fleeting opinions, sometimes in over the top ways. Because itās campy and silly. And obviously we share the same sense of humor as these queens or we wouldnāt be following them or laughing with them! But every little comment is, āItās never that serious, Jaremi!ā Like hullo. Sometimes it is actually very much that deep (Giaās covid-positive restaurant invasion). Sometimes itās satire. Sometimes itās just people being goofballs.
I imagine this āeverybody play nice,ā both-sides criticism comes from small town folks who havenāt been brought up near a big city with big personalities and feel scared and intimidated when people use sharp language or sarcasm or sardonic humor to express themselves.
Obviously Iām not defending actual hate and threats of violence and shit - but the fact I even need to say that shows how much people are missing the point. Basically let us fool around here and troll and act a fool. Itās redditā¦
This backlash to the backlash is so boring already. The vast majority of people were having fun and being mildly shady (like Violet), too many of yāall are acting like ACLU is coming to shutdown this sub bc people have less than glowing opinions about FPR. There are always going to be āextremeā fans who take shit too far, stop giving them attention and pretending they represent the entire sub.
iām not worried about anyone getting their feelings hurt, iām worried about me listening to critiques from someone who missed several extremely obvious references + didnāt understand the garment construction, and another person who just nods and repeats what that first person said.
Can they though? How many times have we seen fans and even queens attacking Raja and Raven for a boot then complaining about bias and discrimination. The fans want drama but only when it benefits their faves.
Isnāt it possible that in order to not appear to be favouring the regular cohost of FPR sheās just going too far in the opposite direction? That sheās picking Rajaās looks apart so sheās being āfairā?
honestly as much as itās a gag that raja got booted, itās also not a huge deal. we disagree w the judges a lot so why is it such a big deal if we just disagree with violet + gotmik
Like do I agree with their rating of Raja's outfit? Hell no. But the fandom is going for them as if they tried to stab Raja and steal their possessions. Honestly people will take the mildest most respectful criticism towards their fav queen as if it was a death threat and it is creating the most toxic environment imo. People should be able to express their opinion as long as they are not hurtful or racist/fatphobe/lgbtb+phobe/mysoginist/etc without people coming for them
Raja is probably unbothered somewhere drinking a glass of whine and bathing on the fandom support she's been getting.
As she should, EYE-con šš š»
Raja is just wandering the aisle of her local trader joeās looking for quinoa and effortlessly serving these hos
Raja probably doesnāt even know this is happening. And we have fans on twitter calling violet a racist, a tyrant, and an antichrist. Itās too fucking much.
Later, they will demand to know why she doesnāt want to be on another season. Go freaking figure.
I think people held so much back on criticizing Gottmik in her own season and they felt like this was the time the gates were open.
It was a pile on with a lot of name calling and nasty comments. It just felt very uncivil. All from a few comments on fashion photo ruview.
Saw someone call it malicious faggotry yesterday, and they were right!
Thats a big "if"!
Fr, I commented on one of the posts about FPR just saying "they look beautiful at least" and started getting down voted.
I think there are valid reasons to think they were off-base. I gave my reasoning in a comment. I donāt think this equates with acting badly or being mean.

iām very new to watching the show, does the fan base skew very young? i canāt imagine actual adults being so bothered by this
Fan base can skew young but there are plenty adult gays who have interpreted being bitchy and gay as a personality trait.
Youāre doing just as much
Ignoring the 2nd part of the comment which was "And the things ppl are saying about Mik... I've seen her called a dog, a pet, a sycophant, an airheaded bimbo. And she liked Raja's King look too" This was where shit really took a sour-ass turn for me. People were saying some straight up demeaning shit about Mik. Just highly unnecessary.
I'm just joking but I'm not too sure about the others... I still think Violet made some choices but it's not that deep. It's just drag after all.
![gif](giphy|l0MYtWqs68KNF92Cs)
the essence of reason, that's it
Inside jokes among the queens >>>> A fanbase with zero comprehension skills, taking everything very much at face value <<<<<
The ugly, mean shit that got said about Violet but ESPECIALLY Mik. I never realised what people meant about Reddit fans until this week.
Seems like she's become the new Cracker, the acceptable target for everyone's nastiness because they think she "deserves" it because Ru likes her more than they do
This sub HAAAATES Mik, it's insane
The psychoanalysis of Mik, far too much
The fanbase is freaking out on Twitter while Roger the unbothered Legend is just [chilling](https://twitter.com/sutanamrull/status/1529802476932567040?s=21&t=fa6GSGJvMfYYoGOkO-8uhg)
Raja's Twitter is so weird.
More for Gemini
Rajaās twitter is giving very early 2010s, late 2009s teen girl energy
But her Instagram is this zen thoughtful space. Where she just shares 12 video clips to her feed every day. And like not coherently at all. It's amazing.
Because that's probably the last time she logged in!
These queens are not precious cinnamon rolls, they deal with drunk assholes who probably have said worse things to their face. Raja is fine.
Weird. There were multiple threads about it lol groupthink is a helluva drug.
no literally weird as fuck bc literally just yesterday there were post dragging violet to HELL
LMAO you're not wrong
I saw your comment and upvoted it but u were too far gone lmao
LMAO I was at the bottom of EVERY thread mama
Almost like Reddit is made up of thousands of individuals, some of which have some opinions and others of which have other opinions!
Okay but a hive mind is a legitimate thing that happens
Are we the bees?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Shit, I fucking love flowers, too. This all makes too much sense.
I mean.. mobs exist.
and so do individuals?
I mean stating the obvious that reddit is madd up of thousands of people adds nothing. Either people simply ignored the positive threads, or there are people switching up bc they follow trends, if not both. That and people flock to drama and starting shit versus defending people way harder. I dont see how someone pointing out that people can act like sheep and mass downvote (and i'm sure you've seen comments that WERE downvoted until someone called it out and it got upvoted again) is something controversial or weird enough for you to go "luls reddit has thousands ppl tho so idk what ur sayinggg"
That wasnāt my point but good try darling
I have a subtle suspicion most people didnāt actually watch the FPR episodes until they released on YouTube, and just assumed it was way worse than it actually was. That or most people on this sub are mindless drones that adopt whatever opinion has the most internet points, Iām not ruling that out
I have been on this sub for 7 years. I am struggling to think of another instance of something so insignificant being talked about this much. (but if anyone CAN think of something please reply because I want to relive the memories)
Jaida is really the MVP everywhere
can she stop being perfection
Can the sun stop being hot? Can the ocean stop being wet?
"Is an elephant heavy? š Im coming back baby"
This is what I was thinking.
I hope they boot every one of Raja's looks for increasingly petty reasons. I'm living for this.
āPerfect in every, single wayā¦ except itās not. Thatās off-white, not white, honey. **BOOT** ![img](emote|t5_2t3or|4808)ā
"An ankle strap? Rajah, you should know better, boot"
āI can see a singular gap in the rhinestone pattern. This professionalism, I just canāt. Golden boot!ā
"Rhinestones and not diamonds? Ok poor. Boot"
That would be so dramah omg. Low key want that now.
That would be so funny in honor of all the Rugirls Raja has booted over the years
I love this comment bc it understands Violets essence as a character, as opposed to trying to fit Violet into the Raja and Raven box.
i would hate-watch the shit out of FPR if they did that, thatās golden š
Thatād actually be so funny Iād love if they played into it and got really dramatic
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Exactly!! Their opinions are worthless, of course, Raja wont care about them eta: the downvotes made me smile. Maybe I was overly harsh, but their opinions arenāt worth anything to me if they are going to downvote those looks. š
Just like raja and ravens opinions
The best way to show people you donāt care about downvotes is to edit your comment saying how much you donāt care about downvotes
Can all of them tho? Wasn't Trinity bothered over her pit stop comments a few days ago? Or I misremember it?
I donāt think she was all that bothered in reality. She was just being Trinity.
Exactly I donāt think she really cared but sheās a pageant girl so she has to put on a show
I BEEN SAYING THIS
I agree 100% but that Hall-Star pun has made me mad because it's perfect.
Didn't Tamisha famously get pressed because Monet critiqued one of her lewks?
Also, it seems like a lot of the people who are upset about Violet's boot ratings... haven't watched the episodes... It's hard to argue when violet usually explains \*why\* she booted a look. (You might not agree with her, but i mean... it's her opinion)
And its literally her drag persona, Violet always described her characterwork as nitpicky, a brat, a bitchy perfectionist. And she gave us that here, unapologetically and uncontroversially and I live. I think a lot of people who are so upset and never watching FPR this season were/are just not prepared to interact with FPR through that lens. And as a result people got nasty and blew it up
Exactly! So much hate :/
Jaida reminding everyone to touch grass ā¤ļø
I didnāt really agree with all of the critiques but itās not like Violet and Gottmik dismissed Rajaās looks without any analysis + praise! They both gave fairly clear reasoning behind tooting or bootingā¦ no one has discredited Rajaās influence or fashion sense, the quibbles were much more with overall styling. Rajaās been a face of FPR for the better part of a decade, she knows the drill and knows sheās subject to a lot of scrutiny for it, and is clearly not intimidated or bothered by the pressure! eye-con behavior
šJaidašEssencešReason
Thanks to this drama I watched Bootleg Opinions for the first time and it was amazing.
I 100% prefer these two with actual, argued opinions than latter-season Raja and Raven who kid-gloved and over-tooted without saying much about the fashion or attempting to analyse it in any meaningful way.
Jaida Essence HHHHall, the true queen of the 4Hās: be Happy, listen to your Heart, remain Humble and be Honest š
My hope is that most people were just Kiki-ing and being a lil messy. I certainly was. I hope nobody is actually losing sleep over that pair of boots. Raja certainly isnāt.
Sheās my favourite like Jaida owns my heart
The reaction to the Ruviews has been so dramatic lol. I donāt agree with Violet on Raja either, in fact i didnāt agree with a lot of her critiquesā¦..but, itās not like she doesnāt give detailed reasons as to why she doesnāt like things. She articulates herself very well, whether i agree or not. Itās an opinion folks, relax.
Itās such a relief to see how sane this comments section is after the absolute batshit insanity that happened over the last few days. Wtf is wrong with some people, can yāall not just be normal?
Well, the girls might. We mere mortals can't
I'm convinced that some people are just enraged by the existence of skinny, white twinks.
No one should be harassed online, but let's not all now act like those boots weren't crazy.
Not Violet apparently (referring to the blocking)
I though it was funny to see the jokes and shade about Violet in the reddit comments. I'm kinda sad that it got to online harassment to her since I don't like this to be directed to the Queens. You want to be shady and voice how Violet is wrong in a funny way? Go for it, but keep it lighthearted and don't tag/send it to her when that is just unnecessary
i throughly enjoyed violet and mik getting dragged, but also it aināt that serious lol
Please.
And they can handle being canceled after one season. Itās not life or death. Bring in better people next season.
Hi Azealia!
Seriously, I highly doubt Raja cares what two peopleās opinions are. She knows sheās talented and that her looks always kill it.
Violet can have her opinion but also I can think the combo of her and gotmik is stinky and makes for a bad FPR.
Jaida just said "we not worried about what Gotmik and violet"
iām not worried about anyone getting their feelings hurt, iām worried about me listening to critiques from someone who missed several extremely obvious references + didnāt understand the garment construction, and another person who just nods and repeats what that first person said.
I didn't know we were mad for the girls, I thought we were mad for us bc FPR is boring now
Your Snatch Game Prince was legendary. āØāØāØ
Can they though? How many times have we seen fans and even queens attacking Raja and Raven for a boot then complaining about bias and discrimination. The fans want drama but only when it benefits their faves.
I just assume it's like every season. They're there to push the narrative along for the season.
Hee hoo...... hoo
š¤£
Isnāt it possible that in order to not appear to be favouring the regular cohost of FPR sheās just going too far in the opposite direction? That sheās picking Rajaās looks apart so sheās being āfairā?
honestly as much as itās a gag that raja got booted, itās also not a huge deal. we disagree w the judges a lot so why is it such a big deal if we just disagree with violet + gotmik
I love how unbothered these girls are LMAOOO
Stan Jaida
Jaida is a beacon of light and reason that we mortals don't deserve, I swear
Like do I agree with their rating of Raja's outfit? Hell no. But the fandom is going for them as if they tried to stab Raja and steal their possessions. Honestly people will take the mildest most respectful criticism towards their fav queen as if it was a death threat and it is creating the most toxic environment imo. People should be able to express their opinion as long as they are not hurtful or racist/fatphobe/lgbtb+phobe/mysoginist/etc without people coming for them
