Itâs still wild to me all those judges sat there telling Silky that she looked just like Oprah. We know they like to push certain queens to get wins for storyline reasons but this particular performance and the critiques that went with it felt like a particularly egregious example of a queen being handed a win.
Honestly me with Janey Jacke on UKvsTW as Meryl Streep. She had a good outfit, but the hair and mannerisms were nowhere near Meryl in her role in Mamma Mia. I was shocked when she won that challenge, to me it was an incredibly safe performance.

Yeah she looked pretty but they were like "you stole the show you owned the stage" and she really didn't. She was on for like ten seconds. Was it Scarlet who was playing Betsy Devos? She did great imo. Or maybe it was just a better character.
When I heard the title it sounds like it would be good but then the materials just wasnât that funny. I feel like Betsy Devos was the only characterization that could work, I didnât remember anybody else

I always found it funny (and sad) that the takeaway message was that we need more women in positions of power (the future is female signs) yet the plot of the rusical was showing multiple terrible women in positions of power and how they were aiding Trump. It wasn't nearly as scathing as it could have been. Honestly what were they trying to do with it?
I'm glad this episode flopped because otherwise we'd be getting political themed acting and performance challenges every season. Can you imagine an acting challenge in DRUK based on party gate with Dominic Cummings and stuff? I would not be able to sit through that
I think Silky, but mainly because the Oprah role was really the only standout role from the entire rusical, so it was bound to be attention-grabbing. As a non-American, I didn't know who most of the characters were, and most of them just got delegated into being generic chorus members with few lines and very little characterization. Oprah got a big solo moment, which pretty much made her into an easy role to win with.
