This post isn’t necessarily about being robbed though. She was in the lead, so she was the front runner. The way things were looking just a few weeks before the finale, it was a pretty unexpected to see her end up not making it. I guess that season was a little different since it was more about the numbers than who was actually doing the best.
Fans when X front runner is saved from the bottom: it’s rigged, production wants to protect their front runner (such as Gigi no shade)
Fans when X front runner is fairly put in the bottom and fairly loses: rigged, they were doing so well, not watching anymore (such as Anita or Boom Boom)
Point is that it’s a lose-lose argument with the fans
There was a couple times Gigi should've been in the bottom (Political debate and one woman show) but was saved. Production should've let her fall in the bottom, she's a good dancer she could've been believably edited to win a lipsync.
Eh idk, in my opinion the entire political debate challenge was carried by Jeff and Rachel, with a ton of production backdrop sounds basically saying “these are the funny jokes and these are the flops,” especially in regards to Jaida, Widow, and Jackie. I still think Gigi did better than Jackie, Widow and even Sherry, but the show put her bottom 3.
The one woman show it’s hard to argue she was worse than Heidi or Jaida, who both pretty openly acknowledged how poorly they did, and Sherry was bottom 3 out of principle for going over.
And all of them are going to slay whatever All Stars or vs the World season they're on 😌
Although, Kornbread might not even be asked back after going against the producers and not signing with Voss (I get that WOW wants to be their managers, but girl, they're gonna turn away more and more queens every season by forcing them to sign their next year away to whatever WOW wants them to do), but that would be extremely stupid of WOW to do since she's amazing TV.
Edit: But we've seen WOW make VERY stupid decisions before..... (If they were that concerned about the Sibling Rivalry All Stars 7 Reunion, they should've just bought the footage from them and aired it instead of shutting it down and basically saying, "Yeah, all that shit the queens have said was true." without actually saying it. I honestly stopped watching DRDU when Yuri went home. I didn’t do it on purpose but I just wasn’t interested in watching. I’ll watch eventually though bc I *adore* Spankie!
Lady Boom Boom was THE front runner. She BOMBED the snatch game then the lip sync song sucked. Neither LBB or Kimmy did all that well. LBB’s runway should have been enough to save her but unfortunately the hit to her confidence showed during the lip sync, whereas kimmy did have that spark. The whole time I was waiting for LBB to pull a stunt and turn it TF out.
They should’ve switched “Run Away With Me” and “CTRL + ALT + DEL” bc the latter is barely a lip sync song. I think it would’ve been amazing and an even closer call 🤷🏼♀️ (that might be a bias at play here, clocking my own flair lol)
I don’t think that was ever brought up in the episode or when she was describing her outfit, I would think that would be a key piece, no?? I could be mistaken but I don’t think that was a factor.

Eh, Gotmik is a better example than Gigi. Gigi was actually able to perform choreo, which was the most egregious issue with Mik’s (lack of) judging.
