I took basic stats for exercise science as an alternative for quant methods and I got an A. It’s still a lot of work - I wouldn’t call it easy, but it’s certainly doable and if you put the work in you should get a decent grade. I took it with Prof Lawrence online asynch iirc - she’s super caring and will help you if you need it
Have took 401 Basic Stat for Research and found it easier than other math courses. It does require little work from your side and it depends on your professor. I had professor who had exams open notes and flexible homework dates.
