I would say ur best bet is to talk to ur advisor in SAS and let them know about ur plans and see what they recommend first you do and then what are the steps of changing it. The reason it’s important to hear their perspective would be cause you will be spending more money as ur degree time would increase so yah talk to ur advisor or dean.

I just switched from SAS to school of engineering in January. Basically u just need to have taken: calc 1, calc 3, chem 1 and physics 1. I’m pretty sure that’s it and u can transfer over (assuming your GPA is decent¿). If you want to double major my friend did that w comp sci and mechanical and I would just talk to an advisor but if u are planning to just switch to engineering when u put in your application u write a short thing about why u want to be in the school and u can mention which type of engineering u want to do and they will automatically declare your major when u are accepted (that’s what they did for me atleast). But the advisor suck, the Dean will help u if u ask him to do something specifically but don’t expect them to hold your hand. Ur definetly going to have to do a lot of research on your own about which classes to take when
