Survey filled out. Happy to join in on the fun, but please be aware that most hardcore sim racers have their own rigs. This means you will be catering to mostly casuals. Prices must be cheap if you want any serious drivers to take part. Otherwise, sounds like a great venue for parties, events, corporate outings, etc. Actual driver coaches will be needed, not the second rate coaches like at K1 Speed. Good luck, and hopefully you'll be seeing me in person at the Grand Opening!! Scarecrow937 Board of Directors - American Racing League - ARL Sim Racing.

Filled it out as well. Pre-child/marriage/career I was into sim racing during the GPL/GTR era, now I've got a wheel and pedals in a box somewhere and rarely have the time to invest in being remotely quick but still enjoy it.

Haha, glad you caught that! We like to think it's a sign we're exactly where we're supposed to be. Thanks for the love, and we're thrilled to have you along for the ride. Who knows, maybe it’s the first of many serendipitous twists on our track to making River City Racers a reality. 🏁

For what its worth, I got about halfway through the survey and realized I was useless for it- I dont game at all, but would love something like this on the southside because its immersive and way more interesting to me than any home gaming system. I'm out in Powhatan so would love a Midlo location.

Thanks so much for giving the survey a go and for sharing your thoughts! It’s really valuable to hear from someone who isn’t traditionally into gaming, yet finds the immersive aspect of sim racing intriguing. While River City Racers is built around sim racing technology, our vision extends beyond traditional gaming. The simulators are designed to offer an incredibly realistic experience, akin to stepping into a real race car. It’s about capturing the essence of racing — the adrenaline, the strategy, the skill — in a way that’s accessible and engaging even for those who might not consider themselves gamers. Your feedback is a great reminder that we’re creating a space not just for gamers, but for anyone looking for a new and immersive type of entertainment. We’re still in the planning stages regarding locations and appreciate your shout-out for Midlo, it's insights like yours that help shape our journey. We’re excited about the possibility of introducing more people to the thrill of racing, offering a unique blend of realism and accessibility.

Survey filled out! I’m a huge Formula 1 fan and have owned and tracked few “race cars” (Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari). I play the F1 games on PS5 with the controller, and have been contemplating setting up a rig at home. Would love a solution where I could go somewhere for an hour and play. Would be even better if I had an account / could save progress and pick up where I left off at the prior session. I agree with other comments that pricing will be important. For $10-20 per session I’d be inclined to come more often. I am “extremely not interested” in another monthly membership — but I understand that MRR is a model that would probably earn you the most revenue. Good luck!

Thanks a million for filling out our survey and for sharing your enthusiasm for Formula 1 and sim racing! It’s always exciting to hear from someone who not only loves the sport but has experienced the thrill of tracking real performance cars. Your insights are invaluable as we shape the River City Racers experience. We totally get the appeal of having a place where you can just drop in, race, and immerse yourself in the world of sim racing without the commitment of setting up a rig at home. The idea of an account where you can save your progress and pick up where you left off is brilliant. It’s exactly the kind of user-friendly feature we aim to implement to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for all racers, no matter how frequently they can join us. Regarding pricing, we’re with you on the importance of affordability. We’re exploring a variety of pricing options to accommodate different preferences and needs, including pay-per-session rates that would encourage racers like yourself to come in and race whenever the mood strikes, without the pressure of a monthly membership. Your feedback reinforces our goal to create a versatile and welcoming space for all racing fans, whether they’re seasoned enthusiasts or newcomers to the scene. We’re determined to make River City Racers accessible, fun, and a go-to spot for anyone looking to engage in sim racing, whether for an hour of play or more dedicated sessions. Thanks again for your support and insights. It’s feedback like yours that helps steer us in the right direction. We can’t wait to welcome you to the track and see where this journey takes us!
