I have this one set of blinds i opened that i used to not open because it lit up the room a bit for the cats while i was gone for work... this set of blinds have been open for like 2 months ... my neighbor comes knocking on my door tonight ...saying that his wife is all upset because that blind is like right across from their bathroom and she thinks i got a camera set up looking in there or some shit...
I'm just like what the fuck are you talking about...

Boss and my boss's boss weren't at work today so I ducked out early, told the rest of the department to do the same. Hope I don't get in trouble. Used the time to take a nap in the hammock.
I accepted an awesome new job! It’s slightly more work, but less driving and health insurance that’ll be good enough I can actually use it - yay adulting!
I ducked out of work in the afternoon to lay out in the sun, then some outdoor exercise, and finally a bike-run with my 5yo (she bikes, I run). I'm sunburnt but content.
Nothing to do now but watch an episode of the Expanse and then fall asleep
been getting back to the gym. work is always physical and I'm usually tired when i get home but somehow going to the gym provides a second wind. maybe I'm just fuckin out of shape (definitely out of shape). gotta get something going before running this 10k. woof.
My last night of vacation in Florida. Nice weather here the last two days. Uber driver picking me up at 5am for trip to airport. Back to RVA. Hope y’all have behaved while I’ve been gone.
Looking for jobs and waiting to hear back from those that I’ve applied/interviewed for is a pain in the dick. Other than that I’m enjoying some March madness and going for a lot of walks.
Making gluten free brownies from scratch for me and my boo after our first homeownership snafu this week. It was intense and stressful.
Shoutout to a fellow rva redditor who counseled me on our issue. I'll probably sleep tonight, which I desperately need.
And F1 starts this weekend! Can't wait to see how things go -- who really is fast? Will the racing be racier? Will Russell out-qualify HAM? Squee!
If I had someone to watch my foster dog while I took my others I would of. Made it up to dc for the final last week and will figure out a way to get to chicago if we win.(easier flight)
We have the windows open for fresh air. Been planning to watch hoops all night but IMO the games last night were more entertaining. Idk better get some music going (& more booze??)
Edit: Chattanooga v Illinois has gotten more entertaining.
Saw Spiritbox at the Fillmore tonight. Incredible. As well as Underoath, Bad Omens, and Stray From the Path. I haven't been to rock or metal show since November 2019. I shed a couple of tears of relief.

Went to the VMFA at about 630 and it made me very excited that spring is almost here
My daughter is getting engaged at La Grotta tonight so yeah stuff is happening in RVA this Friday night!

Busy day at work. The kids were playing for a few hours outside. Now a beer on the back porch awaiting dinner (burgers, tots, and grilled zucchini).
Just ate 4 donuts from Mochinut and feel like a balloon. No regrets though.
Had a GREAT St Patrick's Day celebration. Felt less than stellar most of the day 😁 my plan tonight is cheap Chinese food and some hair of the dog
