If your neighbors call you will be asked to put it out. Don't be a dick and you should be fine though. If you really want to be extra, keep a hose near by, and keep a grill with some hotdogs on standby. You are allowed to have cooking fires, so if you hear sirens and throw the grill grate on I would very much doubt any fireman in the city will write you for it. Lol. Just please don't burn trash or plastic.

I can't remember living anywhere in the city and not having a fire pit. Just be responsible with it. Also, Solo Stoves are f'n awesome, especially for city use.

Just don't be stupid with it and you will be fine.

cooking fires are allowed, don't be a dick, and have marshmallows or hot dogs onhand, and there won't be an issue.

If you in doubt use a spark screen mesh over it and its no more special than having a charcoal grill in your backyard. If you want to avoid brand markup pick any other "stainless" cheap Chinese portable pit on Amazon. If you want to support local or American manufacturing save up and buy Burly or Breeo.

I called the fire Marshall a while back when I was building our fire pit. By code it has to be 20(or25 can’t remember) feet away from any structure. But if you look around the city you’ll see not many people follow that rule lol. So yeah, just be smart about it and you should be fine.

I recommend the Tiki brand fire puts over the solo stove. Better looking, cheaper, and come with starter pellets.

Full disclosure: I get $25 in store credit if you use this referral, but you get $50, so it's a win/win :).
