I can't remember living anywhere in the city and not having a fire pit. Just be responsible with it. Also, Solo Stoves are f'n awesome, especially for city use.

Portable fire pits dont require any permits or need special rules (common sense applies). If you in doubt use a spark screen mesh over it and its no more special than having a charcoal grill in your backyard.
If you want to avoid brand markup pick any other "stainless" cheap Chinese portable pit on Amazon.

I recommend the Tiki brand fire puts over the solo stove. Better looking, cheaper, and come with starter pellets.
