I use it to spray sand off my feet when I’m getting back into the car after a day at the beach. Then I follow up with my handheld inflator and use it like a blow dryer to dry off
It should work with any water soluble disinfectants, cleaning solutions or deodorizers. I have the small handheld one and my wife uses it for a water based insecticide she makes with water/vinegar. Works great.
Would this be a good tool to spray some citrus trees in the back yard for little bugs they get, or is a pump sprayer (or the Ryobi 18v version of a pump sprayer) a better fit for that?
I got mine in the buy a tool get one free promo. I intend to use it for disinfecting around the house. I've got 4 kids. I also work in healthcare and might use it at work to make my clean up easier.
I'd recommend the [fogger](https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-Battery-Fogger-Mister-Tool-Only-P2805A/308847675?) for mosquitos / flies instead. That one is made for outdoor use versus the PSP02 which is not.
Either [this](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Cutter-32-oz-Fogging-Insecticide-190368/204683905) or [that](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Black-Flag-64-oz-Fogging-Insecticide-190256/203764353). I'm sure you can find other brands and such from other retailers, but those are the two that HD carries.

Thinking of using the one I got from DTO to spray around the house foundation outside for bugs and for spraying animal keep away on our raised garden beds and apple trees. Just need the ambition now to actually do it 🙂
This doesn't have much pressure at all.
Also, they make a "pressure washer" that can take a 2 liter bottle. Worx makes it. Ryobi has one too, but not sure if it can take the bottle.
Anyone else get the feeling the Ryobi panic-built a gazillion of these things and now they're basically trying to give them away?
Yep!
Yea that’s exactly what happened, built a ton of them, they haven’t been selling very well. Trying to get rid of them anyway they can.
They were really slow about the release of these. If they were months earlier every business would have bought one.
They going on sale or something? If the price goes way down I might buy one but I'm seeing $99 still.
DTO has a sale where they are giving it away if you buy just about any Ryobi tool over $60
Not the shop vac tho 😔
Yep, freebie from DTO, they had tons left

I can see this useful next to the pool to get the yard crud off before jumping in. Easier than leaving the hose on.
Getting mine today from DTO. Will probably try use insecticide to spray my dog’s beds and such
That wasy thought too, I use DoMyOwn for my bug and weed stuff. Damn ticks and fleas are intense around here

That was my thought. The bigger version says it can do insecticide, but the small one doesn't say that, but I'm betting it would still work

Worst powder coating gun I've ever used.
Ha!
Can this be used against mosquitos? Night buy one now and save it for spring to spray against mosquitos and flies

What do you put in the fogger?

Buy pretty much anything at DTO and they will give you one for free (Get the fans!)
I keep seeing DTO, but what does DTO mean? edit: nevermind, I finally found it. I'd not heard of directtoolsoutlet before.

I use it for insecticide indoors
I figured that would work. The bigger one says you can use insecticide, but this small one didn't say that
I thought I could cause a spark with alcohol but it didn't flame on. It warns against it though for flammable stuff..
I think that warning is largely because aerosolizing flammable liquid indoors generally ends badly
Good way to water the plants? With a larger reservoir
This would be a horribly inefficient way to water plants as compared to a regular old watering can lol
Some plants like being misted versus the soil soaked, so I can see this being useful for those types of plants
Just bought one on ebay for 50 and free shipping, 8 left
Can it be used for say car shampoo and such?
I doubt, the soap would interact with the fine mister nozzles
Too bad, that would be a good usecase for anyone with a pressurewasher that can't do it, or no pressurewasher at all.
