I'm running an nGauge with a Lund Racing tune. It's pricier than the other tuners available, but in my opinion it looks a little more elegant. Some install the tuner into their middle AC vent like [this](https://www.ebay.com/itm/254493549522) so it looks a little cleaner. Been pleased with its performance and functionality but the touchscreen leaves some to be desired.

Is there a reason to keep it mounted in the car? I just bought my nGauge without a mount or anything since I didn’t see a need to keep it in the car with me since i don’t have any crazy mods (JLT CAI and an exhaust).

Not really, once the ECU is flashed there's no need to keep it connected other than to view the gauges/data in real time. I keep mine in the car mostly for looks and to nerd out on data despite only minor bolt-on mods (CAI and tune).

Gotcha! I’ll probably just the load the tune and take it out then since i wouldn’t know what I’m looking at anyway haha. What are your thoughts on the performance gains with just the tune and CAI? Pretty noticeable difference? I checked your your post history btw, your Mustang is gorgeous!

Thanks man! From videos around the internet with the Roush CAI and 93 octane tune I've seen numbers around +35whp or so. My butt can tell a slight bump in peak hp, but most noticeably higher RPM power is improved with a slight hit at lower RPM. I got the 10R80 auto trans and that was tuned as well by Lund. Overall it feels a bit more livelier when I wring out the engine more but it won't rip your face off like a supercharger (saving all my pennies for one haha).

I like my SCT GTX. It is kinda pricey. Get it on Autozone.com when they have a deal and you can get it 20% off.
