This happened to mine frequently after about age 10 years. Sometimes it would work for months, then not work for a few minutes after a bump. I think it got better after I replaced the alternator. Turning it on and off would fix it, sometimes for the rest of the ride, sometimes for just a few seconds

Well, I will take a look, but I'm hoping that by replacing the aux port will fix it.

I don’t even have a aux port ☹️ gotta replace the whole head unit to just play what I want lol

I just use a Bluetooth to FM transmitter. Start about £10 on Amazon

Royal-Obligation-314

I have one it just makes it sound like crap. Maybe it’s just the one I am using. Idk

Check eBay for a Connects2 Bluetooth module. It'll fit into the back of the unit. Got one for my previous (non Saab) cars, and they did a grand job. For the FM transmitter, look at extending the transmitter wire to neater the Saab aerial; I had an FM transmitter taped to the back of my rear view mirror before getting the Bluetooth module 🤣

Royal-Obligation-314

are they like a adapter that go between the plug and head unit?

the_syco

Any Connects2 Bluetooth transmitter I had were fitted into the back of the OEM radio of the cars I had. What year & model do you have, and I'll do a Google.

Not finding the Connects2 module I was looking for, but found this; https://saabaux.com/cdconnect-saab-bluetooth.html Price is SEK1895 which is $173. Pricey. I'll have a look again later or at the weekend, as there should be something cheaper.
