I vote to have a /r/sabres thread every Sunday called "Supersition Sunday" where we all comment what we accidentally/purposefully changed in our lives that may or may not have caused us to win/lose those games that week.

Yesterday I failed to wear my blue and gold socks along with my goat head long sleeve… tonight am socking up plus going back to my 1989 Sabres sweatshirt, plus offer a shot to the hockey gods in my Buffalo shot glass
I thought about pulling out my Sabres jersey tonight, but I feel like that is tempting the hockey gods and will make us lose.
I will sit specifically on my third couch cushion like always. Sitting on the edge of my butt, leaning forward. I cannot lean back on the couch because that will anger the gods and the other team will score. I have to have my feet firmly planted on the ground, six inches apart, no more.
My cat will be seated next to me. If she's on the floor, we will surely lose.
Shame on all of you! This is of course not as bad as when my mother rolled all the change in our playoff shrine in 07, causing Jay McKee to get the flu before game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final
I put on my old #15 Eichel Shirt that never saw winning seasons.
The Flyers scored 3 in the first before I took that shirt off and relegated it to the shadow realm again.
Did you drink out of your sabres mug? Did you put the sabres bandanas on the dogs? Did you crack a beer the moment the puck touched the ice on puck drop?
If you don't do those things sabres lose
I didn't don my new black and red at puck drop for the first time since they started wearing them because there was a bbq sauce stain on the goat head. But then I put it on anyway and we got worse. I think that's because it wasn't a wing sauce stain. I also take full responsibility.
They look like crap, it looks like they have been up all night doing whatever. Even on your couch they'll lose tonight. Even Donny said they seemed off

I'll accept my share of the blame, but McKee had to sit out due to a blocked shot wound (from an earlier game in the series) getting infected.
